ROSARIO, Agusan del Sur-- The Filipino top execitive of a gold mining company here has lambasted their Australian partner for trying to oust him as president of the board of directors. Lawyer Raul Villanueva, president of Philsaga Mining Corp (PMC)., in an open letter distributed to more than 2,000 company workers on Tuesday morning did not name the Australian partner but pointed out the foreign counterpart wanted to take over the company. Lawyer Glenn Sorilla,
board secretary, however disclosed to local reporters in a Skype press conference on Tuesday afternoon that it was Jeff McGlinn, managing director of Ten Sixty Four (ASX: X64) Limited, the mining company’s Australian partner with 40 percent share. The open letter came a day after a court injunction was served by Sheriff Teresita Ceballos from a Davao City court at PMC’s administration building which allegedly booted out Villanueva as company president.
