The recent death of Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) founder Jose Maria Sison would be a new dawn for the country's genuine quest for lasting peace, the Department National Defense said. According to the Department of National Defense in a statement that Joma Sison, who is considered to be "the greatest stumbling block of peace is gone." The CPP-NPA's founder died in Utrecht, Netherlands.
