C OTABATO CIT Y — Women groups across the seven-province, three-city Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao are asking Members of Parliament (MPs) to use the languages in the region through translation of the draft legislative measures and during public consultations. MANILA, Philippines — In response to the recent killing of fashion model and businesswoman Yvonne Chua Plaza, Senator “Bato” dela Rosa advised men in uniforms not to risk their careers on illicit affairs. The senator was apparently referring to Brig. General Jesus Durante III, commander of the 101st Infantry Battalion based in Mawab, Davao de Oro. Marcos admin says no need for ICC to step in on PH’s handling of Duterte’s drug war issue By PCO

MANILA -- The Marcos administration said the International Criminal Court (ICC) should let the Philippines resolve the Duterte administration’s war on drugs issue under the country’s well-functioning justice system, which enables it to hold the perpetrators accountable, a Department of Justice (DOJ) official said on Saturday.
