Briefly Compensation board MARAWI City – Residents and officials in this city have called anew for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to initiate the appointment of members to the Marawi Compensation Board (MCB). During Monday's annual commemoration of the city's liberation from the 2017 siege, Mayor Majul Gandamra said the President’s appointment of MCB members would help expedite the process of giving cash aid for the internally-displaced persons (IDPs). AVAO City — Dependence on coal for energy will not help the country achieve its commitment under the Paris Agreement on climate change to cut greenhouse emissions by 70 percent by 2030, an environmental group said.
