“In Living Colour” Art Exhibition 2019 Participating Artists Feng Tzu Chan 陳風子 (1912-2008)
Feng-Tzu graduated from Zhejiang University School of Engineering in China. At an early age, he studied seal engraving at the renowned Xiling Seal Society in Hangzhou. Feng-Tzu specializes in seal script calligraphy and seal engraving. After retiring in 1975, he immigrated to Vancouver, Canada and in 1993 and 1999 he published the Collection of Seals by Recluse in Search of Truth by Feng-Tzu Chan Book I and Book II, cataloguing the seals he had carved since his arrival to Canada. One of his calligraphic works has been acquired by the Canadian Museum of Civilization.
Tinyan Chan 陳田恩
Tinyan graduated from the Guangdong Academy of Fine Arts in China, and the prestigious École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts of Paris, France. A resident of Western Canada for over forty years, his travels throughout the world have provided a source of inspiration for his paintings. In 1983, he became a senior member of the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA). His dedication to produce high quality painting has earned him worldwide fame. In April 2011, he was presented the Lifetime Achievement Award by the FCA.
Jason Chang 章金生
Jason was born in Kunming, China in 1948. He obtained his Master’s in Art from St. John’s University in New York City and studied painting from Daqian Zhang (張大千). Chang’s works have received numerous major art awards and honors and are collected by many cultural institutions and museums all over the world.
William Chen 陳維廉
William is a Chinese seal engraver and calligraphist. He is the acclaimed student of the late Mr. Fung-tzu Chan.
Mui Ling Deng 鄧慕玲
Kwok Fan was born in 1928 in Zhongshan Guangdong, China. He lectured at the Hong Kong Grantham College of Education, the Sir Robert Black College of Education and the Hang Sang School of Commerce before retiring to Canada. He is currently a permanent member of the Chinese Canadian Artists Federation in Vancouver and the International Chinese Society of Photography and Arts in New York City. Lau’s artworks are often exhibited in Vancouver, New York, Boston and in many other North American cities.
Zai Yuan Lin 林再圓
Zai Yuan was born in 1950 in Guangdong, China. He showed his artistic talent as a child and started to learn Chinese painting from a famous Lingnan school artist, Mr Jie Ru Lin. After graduating from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1975, he worked in the cultural institute and later the museum of Zhongsan City in Guangdong. He also took part in many national and provincial art exhibitions. One of his artworks even received a prestigious award and was presented to the United Nations as a gift. He immigrated to Vancouver in 2005 has since held many solo exhibitions.
Dr. George Ching Yuen Lo 羅徵遠
Canadian photographer George Ching-Yuen Lo from Vancouver was named the winner of the Canada National Award, part of the prestigious 2015 Sony World Photography Awards. Ching-Yuen Lo’s winning image “Fighting Bald Eagles” was chosen as the single best photograph taken by a Canadian photographer entered into any of the ten open categories of the 2015 Sony World Photography Awards, the world’s biggest photography competition.
Kenson Seto 司徒勤參
Kenson was born in Guangdong, China. He graduated from the Guangzhou Institute of Fine Art. In 1981, he immigrated to Canada and settled in Vancouver where he continued his art work in the local society. He is a signature member of The Federation of Canadian Artists (AFCA) and a member of Oil Painters in America. Some of his art pieces have been collected by the National Museum of Civilization in Ottawa. Kenson specializes in oil painting and watercolour. He loves nature and enjoys engaging in a dialogue with it. His work is filled with sunshine, fresh air, colour and vitality.
Jeanie Tang 呂雪貞
Deng has loved Chinese culture and its traditional arts since her early childhood. Today, she is a professor of Chinese paper cutting. In April 2018, she organised her first exhibition in Vancouver, which was deemed a resounding success.
Jeanie specializes in painting watercolours on silk. Her favourite subjects include flowers, insects and birds. Her paintings are a delicate combination of both traditional Chinese painting techniques and Western watercolour methods. She has been a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and a co-founder of the Richmond Chinese Painting & Calligraphy Club. Her works have been displayed in many galleries.
ErShi Fu 傅二石
Yim Tse 謝琰 (1936 – 2018)
Fu was born in 1936, the second son of Mr. Fu Baoshi, a famous master of modern Chinese landscape painting. He is currently a member of the Chinese Artists Association, the director of the Landscape painting department at the Jiangsu Traditional Chinese Painting Institute, and the director of the Fu Baoshi Memorial Hall. Fu is not only good at landscape painting, but also at drawing figures. His works include “Smoky Clouds in the Xiajiang River”, “Pictures of Rivers and Mountains to Be Drawn”, and “Wind and Rain over Lan Cang River”. He has held many solo exhibitions both at home and abroad while many of his works are collected by museums, art galleries and private collectors. In 2006, to celebrate his 70th anniversary Fu held “Ershi Fu Landscape Painting Exhibition” at the Jiangsu Provincial Art Museum and the National Art Museum of China in Beijing, which received high praise from the art world.
Yuk Ying Hung 熊玉英
Yuk Ying was born in 1947 in China. She moved to Hong Kong when she was five and then immigrated to Canada in 1992. She learned traditional Chinese painting and oil painting from a renowned contemporary artist, Professor Yan-Yong Ting. She is also an acclaimed Chinese calligraphist. She has been invited to display her works in many exhibitions, which have won her numerous awards, including a certificate of merit in the World Paintings Exhibition in Nagoya, Japan in 1989. She teaches painting at the Chinese Cultural Centre and various community centers and has held successful exhibitions with students.
Zi Rong Ji 吉子榕
Zirong was born in 1963 in Guangzhou. He graduated from Guangdong University of Arts and Crafts and was associated with Zhou Daji, a professor of oil painting at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts studio. He also studied literature at the department of Chinese Language and Literature of Sun Yat-sen University. After graduating, he worked with Professor Ji Meiwen’s Studio and after moving to Canada, he completed his Master’s in art at Royal Roads University. During his career, he successively worked at the Guangzhou Municipal Culture Bureau and in the Logistics Department of the Guangzhou Military Region, the Guangdong Economic Commission, and the Changmei Art Design and Production Center. From 1995 to 1998, he was employed as a senior lecturer, professor, and vice president by the Lingnan Academy of Fine Arts. He is also a member of the Guangdong Young Artists’ association.
Nancy Lau 劉蘭芳
Nancy was born in Hong Kong and graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1968 with a degree in social sciences. From 1968 to 1988 she worked as a medical social worker and in 1988 she immigrated to Canada. During her stay in Hong Kong she learnt oil painting from Mr. Luis Chan and studied Chinese painting from Master Yang Shen-sum of the Lingnan School. From 1972 to 2000, she participated in all joint exhibitions of Chun Fung Art Club. In November 2000, she held a solo painting exhibition at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Kwok Fan Lau 劉國藩
Yim was born in 1936 and studied Chinese calligraphy under Lam Chin-Shek. From 1968 until his retirement in 1999, he was the Chinese librarian in the Asian Library at the University of British Columbia. He now has devoted himself to the study of Chinese calligraphy and its translation. In 1985 and subsequently in 1995, he created and participated in Karma of the Brush, a contemporary Chinese-Japanese calligraphy exhibition. One of his works has also been collected by the Canadian Museum of Civilization.
Sand Wan 溫一沙
Sand born in Hong Kong, graduated from the now Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He was a graphic designer before he immigrated to Canada. His passion for photography became the driving force of his creativity as he fell in love with the Canadian natural landscape. In his 2013 photography exhibition on driftwood, he showcased his multi row stitching technique taken in black and white photographs. He is also interested in the aging and tranquil fishing village of Finn Slough, which culminated in the “Passing of Time” photography exhibition in the spring of 2015.
Chee Keung Wong (1948-2004) 黃志強
Wong was a former Program Director of the Radio Television Hong Kong. He immigrated to Canada and lived in Vancouver. Wong hosted a popular show called “The Golden Melody” 《金曲真善美》on Chinese Canadian Radio and published the signature photo-gallery book, “Ordinary Faces of Hong Kong & Macau” for S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Through his lens, he captured people as well as scenes of Hong Kong and Macau accompanied by humorous and sentimental descriptions to make them come alive before our eyes.
Tim Wu 吳榮添
Tim, a Chinese brush painter, was born in Guangdong, China, and is now residing in Vancouver. His talent and unique artistic technique in painting grapes are today highly acclaimed.
Simon Yam 任施明
Simon is a professional photographer who has been based in Vancouver for over thirty years. His work has been published in prestigious national magazines and has garnered praise from fans across Canada and the United States. He is also an accomplished digital artist and a certified photography consultant. He has taken part in various exhibitions. He has even participated in a printing project at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) and has a permanent display there.
James Yip 葉榕湋
James is a photographer who has immigrated from Guangzhou to Hong Kong before coming to Vancouver in 1969. He established the Canadian Comparative Fine Art Centre to promote art and photography in Vancouver. In July 2011, he held his first solo exhibition “Petals & Flowers” and helped to raise funds for S.U.C.C.E.S.S.

陳風子(Feng Tsu Chan)1912 - 2008 已故，金石門家陳風子老師，以篆刻及篆書知名於世，1912年出生， 中國浙江錢塘人，別號「求是山人」與「迎風道人」。陳老師幼年家居西湖，早年在杭州西冷 印社集刻印，更得到西冷前賢指引，乃習近代時賢風格，並無派別。篆書初習石鼓，後讀鐘鼎，浸潤於秦漢與宋元諸家， 再習王福庵前輩筆法，集各家之所長， 而 創造了他自己的個人風格。1948年移居香港，任教於崇華書院、浸會書院、1975年定居溫哥華。1993年，陳老師12門人合刻的套印「愛蓮說」，入選河南開封翰園 碑林中，刻成石碑。
陳田恩 (Tinyan Chan)
畢業於中國廣州美術學院及法國巴黎國立高等美術學院，於1968年以專業畫家身分定居加拿大溫哥華，作品以色彩斑斕見稱。1983年獲加拿大藝術家協會資深會員 (SFCA) 名銜，並於2011年 4月獲得該會頒予終身成就獎，表彰他長久以來對藝術作出的傑出貢獻，是首位華裔藝術家獲得該個獎項。曾在加美舉辦「田恩繪畫新作 展」個人畫展超過100次，並且參與多次國際性美術展覽，獲獎無數。
章金生 (Jason Chang) 浙江人，1948年出生於昆明，美國紐約St. John’s （聖約望）大學藝術碩士，曾任教於台灣國立復興大學美術系。自創風格，締造潑彩花鳥，把花木人格化，如人 一樣有不同遭遇。在台灣、韓國、日本及北美洲等地多次舉辦畫展。現任加拿大中華美術拓展協會會長、北美華人經貿文化協會主席。
生於香港，1968年畢業於香港中文大學社會工作系，1988年移民加拿大，在港期間曾隨陳福善研習西洋畫，其後追隨嶺南畫家楊善深學習中國畫，並加入春風畫 會。1972年至2000年參加春風畫會聯展，2000年11月在香港中文大學舉行個人畫展。
林再圓 (Zai Yuan Lin) 1950年生於廣東中山，幼年隨嶺南派畫家林介如先生學畫。 1975年畢業於廣州美術學院，得到關山月、黎雄才、何磊等教授指導。曾任職中山文化館、中山博物 館，於1992年成為中國文物學會會員、中國古陶瓷學會會員。曾參加全國及全省美術展，其中《山莊圖》獲中山市美術展金獎，由市政府送聯合國收藏。2005年移 民加拿大，先後舉辦個人山水畫展。2013年成為加拿大藝術家協會會員。
司徒勤參 (Kenson Seto) 原籍廣東，畢業於廣州美術學院，1981年移居温哥華，為加拿大藝術家協會資深會員(SFCA)及美國油畫會會員。擅長水彩、油畫。作品曾被加拿大國家文明博物館 收藏，其傳略被收入《中國當代藝術界名人錄》。現從事教學和繪畫創作。其創作人物或風景，都流露世間真、善、美。
呂雪貞 (Jeanie Tang) 作品特色是以中國工筆畫的方法，加上西洋畫技巧畫於絹上， 多以後園美麗的花草和靈巧的小鳥為主題，富溫馨感情，作品深受大眾喜愛。曾為加拿大藝術家協會 會員，同時也是列治文華人藝術家協會的創辦人之一，曾參與多項聯展及個人展。
謝琰 (Yim Tse) 1936 - 2018 已故, 謝琰1936年生於香港。卑詩大學(UBC)畢業，繼赴蘇格蘭University of Strathclyde 攻讀圖書館學，取得圖書館専業文慿。1986年任職卑詩大學亞洲圖書館， 主管中文部。1999年退休。 早歳隨林千石學習書法致力於書藝研習與書法創作，並以弘揚中國書法爲终生志業；多次统籌主辦國際書法展覽及個人書法展覽。
溫一沙 (Sand Wan)
1958年出生於廣州，年輕時師從廣州名家秦咢生、陳景舒研習書法。1991年移居溫哥華市，從已故金石篆刻書法大家陳風子習篆刻，成為入室弟子。其書法、篆刻 皆沉穩有力，作品廣獲中外人士收藏。
自由影像工作者，生於香港，畢業於香港理工設計學院。移民加拿大前，在香港從事平面設計工作，其作品曾多次獲得香港及國際獎項。因酷愛攝影而不斷鑽 研，2013年在溫哥華舉辦「不朽之美 - 漂木的重生」攝影個展，以拼相（Multi Row Stitching）創作方式，拍攝超景深及高解像度的黑白攝影作品。同年在Finn Slough（芬蘭泥沼）進行「歲月流過」主題攝影創作，並在2015年展出該系列作品。

鄧慕玲從小愛好中國文化和傳統藝術。得名師傳授剪纸藝術。2018年春節間，接受加拿大新時代電視節目專訪，播出獲受好評。今年4月也成功舉辦了《嚶鳴小 集·戊戌年展》，作品受大眾愛載。
傅二石 (Ershi Fu)
已故，前香港電台節目總監，移民加拿大住在溫哥華。黃志強在加拿大華語電台主持一個叫《金曲真善美》的節目，極受歡迎。中僑為其出版了一相集《尋常巷 陌－黃志強鏡頭下的香港和澳門》。黃志強工餘穿過大街小巷， 通過攝影機， 把足跡所及去的景物保留下來， 配上幽默和感性的說明， 讓它們重現在我們的眼 前。
傅二石出生於1936年，中國現代著名山水畫大師傅抱石先生之二子。現為中國美術家協會會員、國家一級美術師、江蘇省國畫院山水畫創作室主任、傅抱石紀念館 館長。傅二石擅長山水畫外，亦擅長畫人物。作品有《峽江煙雲》、《待把江山圖畫》、《風雨瀾滄江》等。曾多次在海內外舉辦個人畫展，眾多作品為博物館、 美術館及收藏界人士所收藏。2006年傅二石七十壽辰時，在江蘇省美術館與北京中國美術館相繼舉辦了《傅二石山水畫展》，引起了美術界強烈的反響。

1947年生於中國，五歲移居香港，1992年移民加拿大。多年從事繪畫藝術，師承丁衍庸丶羅冠樵丶謝擧賢丶陳人力等名家，對傳統工筆繪畫情有獨鍾，設色豔而不 俗，時而略施寫意之筆，都能恰到好處。現教授繪畫，多次舉辦師生書畫聯展，廣受好評。
吉子榕（Zi Rong Ji） 1963年3月出生于广州市，先后就读、研修、毕业于广东省工艺美术学校绘画专业，中山大学汉语言文学系写作专业，广州美术学院油画系周大集教授工作室，国 画系吉梅文教授工作室，加拿大皇家大学，获硕士学位。 先后任职于广州市文化局，广州军区后勤部，广东省经委，昌美艺术设计制作中心，95年至98年间被岭南 美术专修学院聘为高级讲师、教授、副院长等职。曾先后加入广东省青年美术家。
劉國藩（Kwok Fan Lau） 1928年生於廣東中山，文學碩士。歷任香港葛量洪教育學院、柏立基教育學院、恆生商學院講師，1947年追隨嶺南派天鳳樓七子何漆園老師研習國畫多年。1988 年移民加拿大，為溫哥華華人藝術家協會及紐約國際華人藝術家協會會員，其作品經常在溫哥華、紐約、波士頓展出。其傳略可見於1995年《中國當代藝術界名人 錄》。

劉蘭芳 (Nancy Lau)
原籍廣東，現居溫哥華。擅長重彩葡萄、孫氏牡丹和工筆走獸虎畫。作品多次在中國文聯、文化部、中國書畫家協會、徐悲鴻紀念館 (中國書畫家聯誼會)、中國書 畫研究院、廣東省美術家協會、香港畫院等主辦的國內外大展中獲獎。於2002年被東方藝術研究院等單位授予「首屆中國當代百名傑出書畫家」稱號。
居於溫哥華，具三十多年專業攝影經驗，並獲認證為攝影顧問，亦為著名數碼藝術家，造詣不凡。客戶遍及美加，作品曾刊登於多份知名攝影雜誌及於多個藝術展 上展出。
葉榕湋 (James Yip) 1959年由中國廣州移居香港，曾隨鄧雪峰老師學習攝影及黑房創作，1969年移居溫哥華。熱愛攝影，尤愛花卉、雀鳥及舞台拍攝。2002年至2012年設松柏藝術 館，推動藝術活動，為本地及海外藝術家提供展覽場地。2011年舉行「鳥姿花媚」首次個人攝影展，為中僑互助會籌款。2012年獲加拿大攝影學會頒授高級會士 (FCAPA) 名銜及中藝攝影學會頒授榮譽高級會士 (Hon. FCAPS) 名銜。現任中藝攝影學會會長。
羅微遠牙醫 (Dr. George Lo) 羅微遠牙醫在25年前進入攝影領域，當時他參加了一個學習黑白攝影的課程來為自己的臨床實踐拍照。2015 年以一幅「禿鷹爭食圖」獲得索尼世界攝影大賽 (Sony World Photography Award) 中的最佳加拿大圖片桂冠。

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BUYING
price, including Buyer’s Premium and applicable taxes to YKLM.ca.
All property offered and sold through Yikon Artspace Co. Ltd. (YKLM.ca) is subject to the Terms and Conditions presented below, which constitutes the complete statement of terms and conditions on which all property is offered for sale. By bidding at auction, whether it be in person or by agent, by written or ‘absentee’ bid, telephone, internet or other means, the Buyer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
9. No Lot may be removed from YKLM.ca premises until the Buyer has paid in full the purchase price, including Buyer’s Premium and applicable taxes, or has satisfied such terms that YKLM.ca, in its sole discretion, shall require. Subject to the foregoing, all Property shall be paid for and removed by the Buyer at his/her expense within ten (10) days of sale and, if not so removed, may be sold by YKLM.ca, or sent by YKLM.ca to a public warehouse, at the sole risk and charge of the Buyer(s), and YKLM.ca may prohibit the Buyer from participating, directly or indirectly, as a bidder or Buyer in any future sale or sales. In addition to other remedies available to YKLM.ca by law, YKLM. ca reserves the right to impose a late charge of 1.5% per month of the total purchase price on any balance remaining ten (10) days after the day of sale. If Property is not removed by the Buyer within ten (10) days, a handling charge of 1% of the total purchase price per month from the tenth day after the sale until removal by the Buyer shall be payable to YKLM.ca by the Buyer; YKLM.ca shall charge 1.5% of the total purchase price per month for any property not so removed within 60 days after the sale. YKLM.ca will not be responsible for any loss, damage, theft, or otherwise responsible for any goods left in YKLM.ca possession after ten (10) days. If the foregoing conditions or any applicable provisions of law are not complied with, in addition to other remedies available to YKLM.ca and the Consignor (including without limitation the right to hold the Buyer(s) liable for the bid price) YKLM.ca, at its option, may either cancel the sale, retaining as liquidated damages all payments made by the Buyer(s), or resell the property. In such event, the Buyer(s) shall remain liable for any deficiency in the original purchase price and will also be responsible for all costs, including warehousing, the expense of the ultimate sale, and YKLM.ca commission at its regular rates together with all related and incidental charges, including legal fees. Payment is a precondition to removal. Payment shall be by cash, certified check or sim-
DEFINITION OF TERMS AUCTION HOUSE The Auction house is Yikon Artspace Co. Ltd. hereby referred to as YKLM.ca CONSIGNOR The Consignor refers to the person or entity named in the Consignment agreement, from which the property has been offered for auction with YKLM.ca PROPERTY The Property is provided by the Consignor to the Auction House for sale. The Auction House holds the right to partition the Property into separate Lots. BUYER The Buyer refers to the person, agent or entity who bids successfully on a Lot offered by YKLM.ca, effectively owning the item. BUYER’S PREMIUM The Buyer’s Premium is the amount charged by the Auction House to the Buyer. YKLM.ca charges 15% on the Hammer Price of each Lot. HAMMER PRICE The Hammer Price is issued once the Auctioneer has Knocked Down the Lot being auctioned. This amount is the final sale price before the Buyer’s Premium and applicable taxes have been added. SALES TAX Canadian Federal and Provincial Sales Taxes are to be applied to each item offered for sale, applicable to the sale of a Lot once the Hammer Price and Buyer’s Premium are determined. 28
1. Unless otherwise indicated, all Consigned properties are offered by YKLM.ca as agent for the Consignor.
4. YKLM.ca in its sole and exclusive discretion, reserves the right to withdraw any property, at any time, before the fall of the hammer.
2. YKLM.ca reserves the right to vary the terms of sale and any such variance shall become part of these Conditions of Sale.
5. Unless otherwise announced by the auctioneer at the time of sale, all bids are per Lot as numbered in the printed catalogue. YKLM.ca reserves the right to determine any and all matters regarding the order, precedence or appropriate increment of bids or the constitution of Lots.
3. a) The Buyer acknowledges that they had the right to make a full inspection of all offered Property prior to sale at auction, in order to determine the condition, size, repair or restoration of any Property. All property sold through YKLM.ca is sold “AS IS”. b) Any description issued by the Auction House of an item to be sold is subject to variation, this includes the Consignment Agreement. The Buyer agrees that the Auction House is not liable for any variation or omission in an items description including but not limited to authorship, origin, date, medium, provenance, condition or auction estimate. c) YKLM.ca acts solely as an auction broker, and unless otherwise stated, does not own the Property offered for sale and has made no independent investigation of said Property. YKLM.ca makes no warranty of title, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, or any other warranty or representation regarding the description, genuineness, attribution, provenance or condition to the Property of any kind or nature with respect to the Property.
6. The highest Bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the Buyer. The auctioneer has the right to reject any bid, to advance the bidding at his/her absolute discretion and in the event of any dispute between bidders, the auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer the disputed Lot. If any disputes arise after the auction, the YKLM.ca sale record shall be conclusive in all respects. 7. If the auctioneer determines that any starting or advanced bid does not correspond with the value of the Property offered, he may reject the same and withdraw the Property from sale. 8. Upon the fall of the hammer, ownership of any offered Lot will immediately pass to the highest bidder as determined in the exclusive discretion of the auctioneer, subject to compliance by the Buyer with these Conditions of Sale. The Buyer thereupon assumes full risk and responsibility of the property sold, agrees to sign any requested confirmation of purchase, and agrees to pay the full
ilar bank draft, or any other method approved by YKLM.ca. Checks will not be deemed to constitute payment until cleared. Any exceptions must be made upon YKLM.ca written approval of credit prior to sale. In addition, a defaulting Buyer will be deemed to have granted and assigned to YKLM.ca, a continuing security interest of first priority in any property or money of, or owing to such Buyer in YKLM.ca possession, and YKLM. ca may retain and apply such property or money as collateral security for the obligations due to YKLM.ca. YKLM.ca shall have all of the rights accorded a secured party. 10. Unless the sale is advertised and announced as “without reserve” each Lot offered is subject to a reserve and YKLM.ca may implement such reserves by bidding through its representatives on behalf of the Consignor. In certain instances, the Consignor may pay less than the standard commission rate where YKLM.ca or its representative is a successful bidder on behalf of the Consignor. Where the Consignor is indebted to YKLM.ca, YKLM.ca may have an interest in the offered lots and the proceeds therefrom, other than the broker’s Commissions, and all sales are subject to any such interest. 11. YKLM.ca does not allow “buy bids” or prearranged “buy-now” pricing. 12. Any pre-sale bids must be submitted in writing to YKLM.ca prior to commencement of the offer of the first lot of any sale. A hard copy of any such bid shall conclusively be deemed as sole evidence, and while YKLM.ca accepts these bids for the convenience of bidders not present at the auction, YKLM.ca shall not be responsible for the failure to execute, or, to execute properly, any pre-sale bid. 13. Unless exempted by law from the payment thereof, the Buyer will be required to pay any and all federal excise tax and any province and/or local sales taxes, including where deliveries are to be made outside the province where a sale is conducted, which may be subject to a corresponding
or compensating tax in another province. 14. Bidding is in Canadian dollars and payment is to be made in Canadian funds. Methods of online payment via AuctionMobility /Stripe Inc., include Visa, MasterCard and American Express. These methods alongside certified Cheques and Bank Draft(s) are accepted on site for live auctions. Purchases totaling less than $1,000.00 may be paid by cash or uncertified personal cheque on site, only if sufficient identification is provided to YKLMA.ca service staff at time of payment. 15. YKLM.ca may, as a service to Buyer, arrange to have purchased property posted and shipped at the Buyer’s expense. YKLM.ca is not responsible for any acts or omissions in packing or shipping of purchased lots whether or not such carrier is recommended by YKLM.ca. Packing and handling of purchased lots is at the responsibility of the Buyer and is at the entire risk of the Buyer. 16. In no event shall any liability of YKLM.ca to the Buyer exceed the purchase price actually paid. 17. No claimed modification or amendment of this Agreement on the part of any party shall be deemed extant, enforceable or provable unless it is in writing that has been signed by the parties to this Agreement. No course of dealing and no delay or omission on the part of YKLM.ca in exercising any right under this Agreement shall operate as a waiver of such right or any other right and waiver on any one or more occasions shall not be construed as a bar to or waiver of any right or remedy of YKLM.ca on any future occasion. 18. These Terms and Conditions of Sale and the Buyer’s, the Consignor’s and YKLM.ca’s rights under these Conditions of Sale shall be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.

TERMS OF SALE
Once the sale terms have been agreed upon, YKLM Auctions and the seller will complete the Consignment Agreement which lists the details regarding the consignment of personal property. The consignment agreement and property schedule is set out in the terms and conditions upon which YKLM will offer your property for sale at auction. Estimate ranges and reserve amounts are discussed at this time. The property will be included in both our print and/or digital catalogues as one or more lots. We adhere to the standard of charging each seller a vendor’s commission and other sale-related expenses.
INSURANCE
The Consignor shall pay the Auction House 2.5% of the hammer price of each lot to cover insurance costs. The Consignor may elect in writing to not be covered by Auction House Insurance, in which case the Property is then not entitled to any insurance coverage and the Consignor will accept and assume full risk of damage or loss.

SHIPPING

The Auction House will not undertake in any packing or shipping. The purchaser is responsible for arranging shipping, and any expenses that apply including insurance costs and any necessary export permits. Export restrictions exist under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES). Personal Property items containing any ivory, tortoise shell, rhinoceros horn, coral and others may be subject to export and importation restriction. Please review the laws and regulations of your home country before making a purchase of sale items containing these parts. Securing permits is the responsibility of the Buyer.
YKLM寄售服务规定及条款 销售条款
