Club Account Administration & Financials
The member number you received will be used for any charges you incur around the club: food/beverage, apparel, guest fees, professional lessons/clinics, cart fees, etc.
You should register for online access to your club account at www.suburbanclub.com. Click
Member Login and “Member Registration.” Once you create an account, you can make reservations, check your statements (including itemized charges), review updated club rules and policies, or find contact information for club professionals and other members.
Member statements are emailed each month, with payment due by the last day of the month. After that a finance charge will be applied. Payments may be made via check (or online bill pay) or credit card with applicable service fees (currently 3.1%).
Club Culture and Expectations
We require all members to treat other members and our staP with respect and cordiality. Physical altercations, oPensive language, or comments derogatory of one’s race, religion, gender, nationality, or sexuality will result in disciplinary action by our Board of Governors.
Our club strives to maintain a family-friendly atmosphere; a beautiful oasis from the day-today hustle bustle. Please refrain from loud phone conversations (phone use is not permitted in the Kneipe), oPensive language, or conduct that retract from the quiet enjoyment of other members and their guests. Be sure to wear appropriate attire depending on your use of the club facilities, and only change in the locker-room.

Suburban Club Amenities
Dining Options
Kniepe Grille: Our main dining room is the Kneipe Grille. The Kneipe is open for lunch and dinner Wednesday – Sunday, with brunch service on weekends and our famous Suburban BuPet night many Thursday evenings. Business Casual attire required. Please use your club account online or call to make reservations for the Kneipe at (410) 602-7624.
Patio Grille: We oPer casual outdoor patio dining on weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day during lunch. Choose a grilled menu option and enjoy 2 self-serve sides. Swim wear with coverup is acceptable. Full Menu is available by request. Reservations required during holidays and special events
Bar/Lounge: Casual Service is available at the bar/lounge. Please order at the bar or with a server. Our full service bar oPers wine and drink specials.
Pumphouse Snacks: Our Pumphouse is the screened-in patio oP the main patio area. Enjoy snowballs, ice cream novelties, prepared foods, candies, and drinks.
Oasis: Open to golfers, our Oasis is located between holes 9-12. Complimentary soft drinks and pretzels; please sign for any specialty drinks (Gatorade, etc.) and packaged food items. Hot food is available on weekends.
Ballroom and Private Events: Host your next party with us! Whether a business lunch for 10, a birthday dinner for 20, a shower for 60, or a 300-guest wedding, we’re here to make your event amazing! Chef Chad will work to create a special menu with you and our event staP will dazzle with their 5-star service. Contact Michael Zak for more information.
Pool
Our Pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day, with dates extended into September weather and staPing permitted.
Poolside chaise lounges are available on a first- come-first-serve basis. Please enjoy all food on the stone patio area.
Please do not bring outside pool, other than when the dining facilities are closed.
Towel service is available for Members and guests; please take one or two towels from the towel rack and return used towels to the adjacent towel bin after use.
Please sign in guests at the book near the towel rack. Guests may join you an unlimited number of times during the week, and a maximum of 4 times on weekends and holidays (Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day).
Children may use small pool toys in the shallow area. Small floats are permitted during the last two -hours that the pool is open. Children must pass a basic swim test to use the deep areas of the pool (see a lifeguard). Children who have not passed the deep -water test may only use the water slide while wearing a life-vest and a parent/caretaker must be in the water to assist the child after entering the pool.
Fitness Center
Our fitness center is located on the lower level and includes free weights, weight machines, stationary and recumbent bikes, ellipticals, treadmills, and more. Our in-house trainer, Tim Barlow is available to one- on- one and group training sessions and provides a complimentary fitness evaluation to all members (timbarlow1974@gmail.com or 410-9614328). Locker Rooms
Each Member is entitled to a complimentary locker. Both the Ladies’ and Men’s Locker Rooms are equipped with spa amenities, steam sauna, lockers, showers and a toiletry bar. Attendants are available at selected times to assist with any needs in the locker rooms.
Massages
Our clubhouse oPers two private and relaxing massage rooms, one in the Men’s locker room and one just outside of the Ladies’ locker room. Book a room and bring in your own therapist or book with our in-house massage therapist, Tim Lewis
Social Events
Our club celebrates special events all year long! Our major summer holidays – Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day – always include pool parties, children’s activities special menus and of course a fireworks display for July 4th. We oPer additional special events from dinner and dancing, bingo and grill nights, karaoke, book talks, movie nights, and so much more. Look out for information from the club in your email.
Tennis & Racquet Sports
Suburban Club oPers a total of 20 tennis- courts, 16 outdoor and 4 in our all-season bubble, 6 pickleball courts, and 2 platform tennis courts. Suburban Members have privileges to use all racquet sports facilities free of charge, excepting for hourly court-time fees for use of the bubble courts during the winter season.
Court Reservations
Courts are available on a reservation basis using an online reservation system. Please stop in to our tennis pro shop or call the tennis pro shop at (410-602-7632) to register for the online reservation system. Any unreserved courts are available for play on a first- comefirst-serve basis.
Groups and League Play
Our tennis program has many groups that oPer open play during dedicated times, and competitive leagues including inter- club. We have open-play groups for all skill levels. Please speak with any of the pros in the pro -shop to find the perfect fit for you!
Lessons, Clinics, and Summer Camp
Suburban Club is fortunate to have several tennis professionals available for private lessons and group clinics. Our junior tennis program is well renowned and Ross Coleman’s Hawkeye Tennis camp is a hit for juniors of all ages/abilities. There is a tennis pro that is just right for whatever you’re looking for. Stop into the tennis shop to learn more.
Pro Shop
Our full service racquet pro shop oPers the latest gear and apparel. Cold drinks and snacks are available for purchase. See one of our pros about re-stringing services.
Golf
Suburban Club oPers a championship 18-hole course with 5 tees, kept in pristine condition by head groundskeeper Blake Murphy – a true diamond in the rough! Golf members, including their children ages 21 and under, may play golf and use the practice facilities on an unlimited basis all year round.
Tee-Time Reservations
Reserve your tee-time by calling the golf pro -shop or using your online club login at www.suburbanclub.com. Navigate to the Golf tab and select “book a tee time”. For walkons, we recommend you check the online tee-sheet. If you decide to come out on a nice day, our pro -staP will do all they can to accommodate getting you on the course.
Practice Facilities
We oPer a driving range with natural fairway turf (weather dependent) and an all-weather hitting mat; a pitching green, and a putting green. Our indoor golf training facility is heated to hone your golf skills and take lessons all 12-months. Golf Members may always use the outdoor practice facilities without limitation or additional expense. Reservations must be made to use the indoor facilities. Non-golf members and guests may use the practice facilities for an additional fee.
Golf Shop & Bag Room
Our golf shop oPers an attractive array of apparel and golf equipment. Our staP will help you pick out and order custom gear. Our staP will clean and store your clubs in our bag room after you finish your round. Additional services including club -fitting, regripping, etc. is available on request.
Golf Education & Etiquette
Our teaching pros are available for lessons and clinics for all. Our head teaching pro Mark Evenson is a renowned swing coach and works out of our training facility on the range. Head Golf Pro Chris Carpenter and Assistant Pro Kobe Pinksy also oPer lessons to Members working on their swing or learning the game.
We require all golfers to maintain good golf etiquette: Keep your carts on the paths around tee boxes and greens, rake the bunkers, and fill/fix your divots on the fairways and greens. Be mindful of your pace of play and please do not “push up” on groups ahead of you that are on pace. Pace of play is monitored by our golf pros.
Golf Groups and Tournaments
The Suburban Club oPers competitive play for golfers all skill levels, including both team and individual tournaments. Various groups organized by individual members or clubsponsored Men’s 18 tournaments, Ladies’ 9- and 18-hole groups, and our popular Fat Tuesday 9-hole twilight golf league are exciting options for any golfer. Please contact one of our golf professionals to be introduced to a member-run group or to join the competitive tournament scene, or to be matched with a group that fits your style of play.
Carts & Pushcarts
Golfers may choose to walk and carry your own bag, or to use a golf cart or pushcart for a small rental fee. For tee times prior to 1:00 PM on weekends and holidays, you may be requested to take a cart to speed up play and a trail fee may apply.
Clubhouse Member Use of Golf Facilities
Clubhouse Members are welcome to use the golf facilities on a limited basis and for an additional fee. Clubhouse members may use the practice facility for a small fee, and may play golf up to 6-times per calendar year and will be charged the applicable greens fees.
Guests
Golfers may bring an unlimited number of guests, but may only bring 3-guests at a time. Individual guests may only play as a guest 6-times in a calendar year. Applicable greens fees and cart rentals will be charged to the member account for each guest.
Oasis
Our Oasis is located between the 9th – 12th holes. Enjoy a complimentary soft drink, and sign for any other snacks or beer/alcoholic/specialty drinks you’d like to enjoy. Bathrooms and ice water are available as well.
