HORO SCOPE

As autumn deepens, November 2025 brings a balance of grounding and transformation. A Full Moon in Taurus on November 5 reveals what’s come full circle — especially around stability, values, and self-worth — while the New Moon in Scorpio on November 19/20 invites deep emotional renewal and release. Mercury Retrograde weaves through Sagittarius and Scorpio, asking us to slow down and rethink our stories. With Mars opposing Uranus early in the month, expect flashes of truth, sudden awakenings, or the urge to break free from old patterns.

Overall theme: Harvest, release, and rebirth. Let what’s solid stay, and let what’s ready to transform dissolve.

Check out your individual horoscope to help guide and navigate this month:

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

Old routines break open for something truer. The Taurus Full Moon highlights money or self-worth, while the Scorpio New Moon invites inner healing. Move carefully during Mercury Retrograde — clarity comes after reflection.

Taurus (April 20th - May 20th)

It’s your spotlight month. The Full Moon in your sign brings closure or recognition; Uranus stirs reinvention. The Scorpio New Moon renews your partnerships — emotional depth over control wins now.

Gemini (May 21st - June 20th)

You’re asked to pause and reflect. The Full Moon exposes hidden stress or burnout, while the New Moon pulls you inward for rest. Mercury Retrograde may cloud communication — listen more, speak less.

Cancer (June 21st - July 22nd)

Friendships and goals get a reset. The Full Moon brings clarity about your circle; the New Moon renews your sense of purpose. Release emotional weight and make space for joy.

Leo (July 23 - August 22)

Career shifts or recognition arrive under the Taurus Full Moon. The Scorpio New Moon invites emotional grounding at home. Mercury Retrograde reminds you that real progress sometimes means regrouping.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)

Perspective is everything. The Full Moon widens your outlook; the New Moon invites introspection. Miscommunications are likely — practice patience and let wisdom sink in before acting.

Libra (September 23 - October 22)

Shared resources and intimacy are in focus. The Full Moon highlights trust and finances; the New Moon clears emotional debts. Let go of what you can’t control and open to deeper vulnerability.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)

The spotlight shifts to your closest relationships. The Full Moon reveals dynamics that need balance, and your own New Moon marks renewal — set intentions for authenticity and selfempowerment.

Sagittarius (November 22December 21)

Pause before you leap. The Full Moon brings attention to health and balance; the New Moon

turns your focus inward. Mercury Retrograde in your sign asks you to revise your goals, not rush them.

Capricorn (December 22January 19)

Creative sparks and romance resurface. The Full Moon rekindles joy, while the New Moon redefines connection and shared purpose. Let spontaneity meet discipline — both can serve you.

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)

The Full Moon illuminates home and emotional security; the New Moon resets your professional goals. Balance comfort with ambition and let intuition lead strategic change.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)

Your dreams, studies, or communication blossom under the Full Moon. The New Moon encourages reflection and spiritual depth. Mercury Retrograde may blur messages — trust symbols more than logic.

Cosmic takeaway:

November’s skies invite grounding, truth, and surrender. Slow down, breathe deeply, and let transformation unfold naturally. The universe whispers: to evolve, you must release what you’ve outgrown.

Raspberry Pistachio Dream Cake

A

festive balance of color, comfort,& celebration

The holidays invite indulgence — that quiet moment when the lights dim, the music softens, and the dessert finally arrives. The Raspberry Pistachio Dream Cake is made for that moment. With its vivid layers of ruby and green, it glows like a jeweled ornament on the table — festive, refined, and full of spirit.

Holiday desserts are more than confections; they’re expressions of mood and memory. The deep raspberry hue hints at warmth and winter fruit, while the nutty pistachio sponge adds an earthy comfort beneath the gloss. Together, they strike that perfect balance between elegance and nostalgia — a reminder of the season’s sweetness without ever feeling heavy.

Set against twinkling lights or sparkling décor, this cake becomes a centerpiece — one that feels luxurious yet inviting. Whether it’s the finale to a dinner with friends or a quiet afternoon indulgence by the fire, it carries a touch of celebration in every slice.

Because at the heart of every great holiday dessert isn’t just flavor — it’s the feeling it leaves behind: joy, warmth, and the beauty of something made with care.

Ingredients:

½ cup pistachios, ½ cup almond flour, ½ cup sugar, 3 eggs, 2 tbsp butter, 2 tbsp flour

1½ cups raspberries, ¼ cup sugar, 1½ tsp gelatin, 1 tbsp lemon juice, ¾ cup whipped cream

½ cup raspberry jam, 1 tbsp water

Directions:

Bake sponge: Blend pistachios fine, then mix with almond flour, sugar, eggs, butter, and flour. Bake in an 8x8 pan at 350°F for 15–18 min. Cool.

Make mousse: Simmer raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Strain, stir in gelatin, then fold into whipped cream.

Assemble: Slice cake, spread mousse between layers, and chill 1 hour.

Glaze: Warm jam with water; pour over cake for a glossy finish. Chill until set.

Top with pistachios or white chocolate for a glittering finish — a slice that tastes as bright as it looks.

HOLIDAY COCKTAILS

Warming Flavors & Sparkling Moments for Holiday Cheer

As the holiday season sparkles with festive cheer and cozy gatherings, December and January call for cocktails that are as spirited and celebratory as the season itself. These thoughtfully crafted drinks capture winter’s charm, featuring warming spices, seasonal fruits, and a touch of elegance. Whether you’re by the fire or hosting a festive soirée, these cocktails bring the holiday magic to every toast.

Maple Bourbon Cider

This rich, warming cocktail blends bourbon, spiced apple cider, and a hint of maple syrup. Served warm in a mug and garnished with a cinnamon stick and orange peel, it’s smooth, comforting, and made for chilly evenings.

Winter Citrus Spritz

A zesty twist on a seasonal favorite, this cocktail combines blood orange juice, prosecco, and a splash of elderflower liqueur. Served in a stemmed glass with a rosemary sprig, it’s bright, bubbly, and ideal for holiday toasts.

Vanilla Chai White Russian

Decadent and bold, this wintery cocktail features vodka, coffee liqueur, and chaispiced cream with a touch of vanilla. Served over ice in a short glass, it’s smooth, spiced, and indulgent enough for dessert hour.

Pomegranate Ginger Mule

Sharp pomegranate juice and ginger beer meet vodka and lime in this vibrant

mix. Served in a copper mug with pomegranate seeds and mint, it’s tart, effervescent, and built for fireside sipping.

Spiced Cranberry Mojito

A festive version of the classic, this cocktail mixes white rum, cranberry, mint, and a cinnamon-spiced syrup. Served over crushed ice and garnished with mint and sugared berries, it’s cool, tangy, and undeniably seasonal.

As the holidays unfold, these cocktails offer a delicious way to celebrate the season. Whether you’re toasting with friends or enjoying a quiet moment, each drink captures the spirit, flavor, and warmth of winter festivities.

SPARKLING CLEMENTINE ROYALE!

A Bubbly Citrus Toast to Bright Nights and Holiday Lights

As the holidays twinkle to life and golden lights fill the air, the Sparkling Clementine Royale is the perfect cocktail to toast winter’s most magical moments. This celebratory drink blends the juicy brightness of fresh clementine with crisp sparkling wine and a hint of elderflower liqueur. Its pale gold bubbles rise through slices of clementine, catching the light, while a sugared rim adds a touch of elegance and shimmer—like tinsel in a glass.

Ingredients

2 oz fresh clementine juice

0.5 oz elderflower liqueur (like St-Germain)

4 oz dry sparkling wine or Champagne Sugar for rimming the glass

Thin slices of clementine or mandarin, for garnish Ice (optional, for chilling)

Instructions

Start by rimming a chilled coupe glass with sugar: lightly moisten the rim with a wedge of clementine, then dip it into a shallow plate of sugar to coat. Set aside while you prepare the drink.

In a shaker filled with ice (optional for extra chill), combine the clementine juice and elderflower liqueur. Stir gently to blend, then strain into the prepared coupe glass.

Top slowly with chilled sparkling wine, letting the bubbles gently mix with the juice. Slide a few thin clementine slices into the glass—watch as they dance in the effervescence, adding bright color and festive flair.

Serve immediately and enjoy the Sparkling Clementine Royale—a cocktail that captures the joy and elegance of holiday nights. Whether raised in a midnight toast or sipped beside the fire, it’s a radiant tribute to the season’s sparkling spirit. Cheers!

Golden, Bubbly, and Elegant—A Cocktail Made for Sparkling Nights

"NUMEROUS STUDIES HAVE SHOWN THAT WHEN WE COOK OUR OWN FOOD, WE USE FEWER ULTRA-PROCESSED INGREDIENTS, LESS OIL, AND LESS SALT. "

What can we do to make the holidays healthy?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Here’s a radical notion—let’s not try to make the holidays healthy. Let’s just celebrate them. For hundreds of years, celebratory feasts brought people together and allowed us to experience joy through food with our loved ones. We’ve made lots of advances over the years, but reducing our stress and increasing our enjoyment haven’t been among them.

So, put down the TikTok video on Tofurky and turn off the television morning show encouraging you to skip the pie. Because Thanksgiving is one day. Christmas, at the most, involves a few extravagant meals. Hanukkah may last a little longer, but it’s still just eight crazy nights. And then you have the other 355 or so days of the year. Depriving yourself of joy on a holiday isn’t going to make you healthier in the long run. Getting healthy and staying healthy is about having good habits that you practice day to day and week to week.

And the holidays are a perfect time to get in the habit of cooking. Numerous studies have shown that when we cook our own food, we use fewer ultraprocessed ingredients, less oil, and less salt. Oftentimes, it even tastes better. The more we cook, the better we get at it, and the more likely we are to do it. So, what should we try to make for the holidays? The short answer is

anything you like to eat. In an era where there seem to be dozens of dietary recommendations, we are unlikely to stick with any of them in the long term if we don’t like what we are eating.

If you are the type of person that enjoys lots of different foods, it might be possible to choose something that is a holiday favorite, but also provides added fiber or nutrients. A great fall go-to could be a squash or pumpkin soup. Roasted and mixed with vegetable broth, a few spices, garlic, onion, and blended down is a delicious and festive side. Adding just a spoon of maple syrup or a couple of pats of butter can make it extra rich while keeping it on the healthier side. And while you are roasting your squash, consider roasting more of your favorite vegetables too. You don’t have to give up on the stuffing or macaroni and cheese, but making space on your plate for vegetables helps keep your meal full of fiber and nutrients. Consider what you might like that fits the profile of a whole, nourishing dish to add to the holiday menu. And if there isn’t anything that brings you joy and vitamins at the same time, you can skip this step.

Because it’s not just about the food. There are other ways to start incorporating good habits while celebrating. Instead of collapsing in front of the television after enjoying a meal, why not take a walk around the neighborhood with whoever is joining

us? Walking for just fifteen minutes after a meal helps regulate our blood sugar and lowers blood pressure. It’s a great way to spend time talking with our kids or family we might not see too often, freeing us up from electronics for a little while as a bonus. The football game will still be on when we get back.

Lastly, and often most neglected, let’s pledge to get enough sleep if we can during the holidays. It’s a busy time and while we are rushing around trying to do it all, we sometimes decide to cut back on our sleep. The holidays could be just the time to start a habit of giving ourselves grace and letting go of the idea that everything has to be perfect. Instead, let’s prioritize ourselves and finding joy, not just on the important days, but every day.

Why Kettlebells Should Be Your New Best Friend

Ever feel like your workout routine is stuck in a rut? It's time to give kettlebells a swing! These cannonball-shaped weights with handles aren't just gym props—they're your ticket to a fun, full-body blast that builds strength, torches calories, and boosts your mood. Whether you're a fitness newbie or a gym rat, kettlebell workouts deliver that elusive "perfect" session: efficient, engaging, and oh-so-rewarding. Let's dive into why they're the ultimate fitness sidekick and how you can master them for epic results.

First off, the benefits are as stacked as your post-workout muscles. Kettlebells combine cardio, strength, and flexibility in one seamless package. A single swing engages your core, glutes, hamstrings, back, and shoulders—talk about a full-body fiesta! Studies from the American Council on Exercise show that a 20-minute kettlebell session burns up to 400 calories, rivaling a brisk run but with added muscle-building perks. Plus, they improve posture and balance, reducing injury risk for everyday heroes like you. Forget boring reps; kettlebells keep things dynamic, making workouts feel like playtime rather than punishment.

But the real magic? Versatility. These bad boys adapt to any fitness level. Beginners can start with light swings for heart-pumping cardio, while pros amp up with snatches or Turkish get-ups for explosive power. They're space-saving superstars—perfect for home gyms or quick office breaks. And let's not forget the mental boost: That satisfying "whoosh" of a perfect swing releases endorphins, leaving you energized and stress-free. In a world of high-tech gadgets, kettlebells prove simple tools yield extraordinary results.

Ready to give it a swing? Start with the classic two-handed kettlebell swing. Stand feet shoulder-width apart, hinge at the hips, and grip a kettlebell with both hands. Swing it back between your legs, then explosively drive your hips forward to propel it to chest height. Keep your core tight, back straight, and let the momentum do the work— no arm pulling! Aim for 3 sets of 10-15 reps, resting 60 seconds between. Pro tip: Choose a weight that's challenging but allows proper form—women often start with 8-12kg, men 16-24kg. Warm up with bodyweight squats, and cool down with stretches for that perfect recovery.

As trends evolve, kettlebells remain timeless. They're eco-friendly (no batteries needed!), cost-effective (one bell, endless exercises), and adaptable for all ages. Whether you're chasing fat loss, muscle tone, or just a fun sweat, they're your perfect partner. So grab one, swing away, and unlock your best self. Who knows? Your next workout could be the highlight of your day!

IS ARTWORK A WISE INVESTMENT?

Navigating the Risks and Rewards of Fine Art as an Investment

It’s no secret that some artworks are very valuable. Such multimillion-dollar price tags may tempt opportunistic investors into the art market for the first time. And while art investments can offer both aesthetic and financial value, fine art is a risky asset class, and there is much to consider before diving in.

Understand the risks before you buy: Art can be a volatile investment. Like fashion, artists and their works go in and out of style, affecting the resale value and return on investment. Art acquisition also comes with considerable extra costs, such as commissions and insurance. Plus, there is always a chance of forgery, theft or damage.

Know how art differs from securities: Some investors may look to art as a way to diversify their portfolios away from traditional stocks and bonds. But the illiquidity of art and a thinly traded market can make it a riskier investment. While stocks trade for clearly defined prices, Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern time, the art market does not have a specific timeframe. This means you could have a piece you would like to sell, but there might not be a market for it. The valuation of artwork is also more subjective, and prices for a particular piece of art may vary widely.

Realize that supply far exceeds demand: Just 1% of all artists generate more than half of all artworks sold globally, according to a TEFAF Art Market Report. There is no easy way to identify which artists will be the most sought-after or successful – so there’s no guarantee of a positive return on investment.

Despite the risks, art can play an important role in a wealth portfolio, such as for diversification and inflation protection. A financial advisor can help you weigh the potential benefits and risks to determine if art investment aligns with your individual financial goals and risk tolerance. The art market is neither transparent nor straightforward, so the support of an experienced advisor can help investors navigate it successfully.

By working with experienced professionals, knowing the risks and taking time to research, investors can be well-positioned for art’s financial and aesthetic benefits.

"Trend-proof,

Gwyneth Paltrow

New York Fashion Week always has its moments, but stepping into Gwyneth Paltrow’s Quarters showroom felt different. It was like being welcomed into the living room of your most stylish friend. This friend just happened to be Oscar winner turned founder and CEO of the lifestyle brand Goop. This September, Goop re-introduced its beloved fashion line, formally G. Label, now rebranded as GWYN. As always with Gwyneth, it was delightfully goopy.

Hosted by GP herself, the interior was styled to perfection. Every corner radiated warmth. The framed photos of Gwyneth as a child with her parents, alongside pictures of her own children, created a thread of nostalgia that soften the polished space. It was as if you’d been invited to her private apartment, curated to make you feel both inspired and at home. And can we talk about the curated tablescape that made us feel like Gwyneth’s houseguests. Think late summer, tomatoes, figs, Japanese, cucumbers, flowers, and trays of glutenfree crackers and hummus. It was an abundant welcoming and just the right bit of aspirational. Even Martha Stewart might have paused and envied at the table or martini. I may have left the party with her signature “boyfriend breakfast” recipe card, so I could try to recreate. “Boyfriend breakfast” is name she gave to the creative meals she made for the people that she loves. And as we moved along, the details revealed themselves like quiet love notes left throughout the rooms.

and familiar. Gwyneth Paltrow has always been able to blur that line, inviting us into her world while simultaneously making us feel like it could be our own. GWYN is an extension of that philosophy. It’s clothes that carry us gracefully through our day while quietly weaving themselves into the story of our lives.

Among this backdrop of comfort and belonging, GWYN’s Fall collection made its quiet debut. The pieces included cashmere knits and jackets, pleated dresses, peacoats, cotton and denim shirts, and impeccably tailored trousers. All pieces were designed with the GWYN woman in mind: elegant, dynamic, and powerful. These clothes move through the rhythms of real life: from a morning school drop off, to a late dinner, all while feeling effortlessly chic. Crafted entirely in Italy, the fabric retains their signature quality, lightweight, cashmere’s sturdy, wools, and refined cottons. The palette stayed close to the timeless essentials: navy, beige, grey and black. Understated, versatile, and designed to last.

That’s what sets GWYN apart. It’s the balance of luxury and belonging. You feel it in the textures of the sweaters, meant to be passed down to the next generation or in the timeless silhouettes that outlast trends, while still feeling modern.

As Gwyneth herself said, “the reintroduction of GWYN is deeply personal. These are not just clothes; they’re pieces for women who do it all, designed to endure the seasons of life.” And much like the space she created for her guests during Fashion Week, GWYN is luxe yet lived-in, elegant yet approachable.

Sitting in Gwyneth’s living room, I mean, showroom I soon realized that GWYN isn’t just about clothing. It’s about a feeling. The warmth of the setting, the nostalgia in the photographs, and the easy elegance of each piece all combined to remind us that luxury can be both aspirational

“I created G. Label in 2016 essentially for myself- a woman with a lot her plate, who wanted to be in her element and comfortable all day, from the carpool lane to work, to a dinner,” said Gwyneth Paltrow, Founder and CEO of goop. “This fall at New York Fashion Week, we are reintroducing the line as GWYN- a name which reflects how intrinsic and personal the brand has become to me. Each piece is still made in Italy, with the same unwavering commitment to beautiful materials and craftsmanship.

NEW PORSCHE 911 TURBO S

A Hybrid Powerhouse Redefines the Icon

THE NEW 2026 911 TURBO S IS THE MOST POWERFUL PRODUCTION 911 TO DATE THANKS TO AN INNOVATIVE TWIN-TURBO POWERTRAIN WITH T-HYBRID TECHNOLOGY

Porsche has once again elevated the legendary 911 with the 2026 911 Turbo S, unveiled at the IAA Mobility trade show in Munich. This range-topping coupe and Cabriolet boasts 701 horsepower (523 kW) from an innovative twin-turbo T-Hybrid powertrain, making it the most powerful production 911 to date. Blending blistering performance, long-distance comfort, and everyday usability, the Turbo S sets a new benchmark for sports cars, arriving in U.S. Porsche Centers by spring 2026.

At its core is the evolved 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 from the F154 family, now augmented by two electric exhaust gas turbochargers (eTurbos) for unprecedented responsiveness. The 1.9-kWh high-voltage battery and electric motor integrate seamlessly with the 8-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, delivering 590 lb.-ft. of torque from 2,300 to 6,000 rpm. The result? A 0-60 mph sprint in 2.4 seconds—0.2 seconds quicker than its predecessor—and a top speed of 200 mph. On the Nürburgring Nordschleife, it clocked 7:03.92 minutes, 14 seconds faster than the last model, thanks to a 180-lb. weight increase offset by enhanced agility.

Design-wise, the Turbo S exudes muscular sophistication. Its wider stance, sculpted lines, and Turbonite accents—a exclusive color for Turbo variants—highlight its prowess. The front features a floating body-colored wing and dark recessed band for a grille-less look, while the rear’s integrated vents and oval titanium exhausts (optional) emphasize width and aerodynamics. Active elements, like the rear mobile wing, adjust for low-drag highway cruising or high-downforce track runs, generating 110 kg of downforce at 250 km/h with minimal drag penalty. New 325/30 ZR 21 rear tires (10 mm wider) and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes ensure grip and stopping power.

Inside, the dual-cockpit layout immerses driver and passenger in premium luxury. A new steering wheel with physical buttons and the iconic start button pairs with a 15.6-inch digital cluster and 10.25-inch central touchscreen for intuitive HMI. Turbonite accents the dash, doors, and Sport Chrono stopwatch, while 18-way Sport Seats Plus offer massage functions. Optional rear seats make it a 2+2, and the perforated Race-Tex headliner adds sporty flair. Connectivity shines with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the MyFerrari Connect app for remote monitoring.

Vehicle dynamics are refined for versatility. Brake-by-wire and ABS Evo (adapted from the 296 GTB) optimize stopping across surfaces, while Side Slip Control (SSC) 6.1 integrates steering, torque, and suspension for precise handling. The electric power steering (EPS) grip estimation reacts 10% faster, even on low-traction roads. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and rear-axle steering ensure composure on highways or tracks.

Customization abounds through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, with Paint to Sample colors, carbon fiber wipers, and Turbonite wheels. The matching Porsche Design chronograph, with a Turbonite dial and vehicle-leather strap, extends the luxury to your wrist.

Starting at $270,300 for the coupe and $284,300 for the Cabriolet (excluding $2,350 delivery fee), the 911 Turbo S is for those seeking the ultimate 911 experience. It’s not just a car—it’s a symphony of power, precision, and prestige, ready to thrill.

Mercedes-Benz Vision Iconic

A MASTERPIECE FOR A NEW ICONIC ERA

Mercedes-Benz unveils a new era of automotive design with the Vision Iconic, a show car that marries the brand’s storied heritage with a bold vision for the future. Launched at Shanghai Fashion Week in September 2025, this masterpiece blends cutting-edge technology with timeless elegance, redefining luxury for the electric and digital age. Inspired by the golden era of the 1930s, Vision Iconic is a sculpture in motion, fusing Art Deco aesthetics with innovations like solar paint, neuromorphic computing, and Level 4 automated driving to create a vehicle that’s as breathtaking as it is forward-thinking.

The centerpiece of Vision Iconic is its reimagined chrome grille, a nod to legendary models like the W 108 and 600 Pullman. First introduced on the all-new electric GLC, this grille combines a wide chrome frame, smokedglass lattice, and contour lighting, radiating a commanding presence. The illuminated standing star on the hood, paired with animated pixel graphics and sleek headlights, elevates the brand’s identity, blending heritage with digital modernity. “This grille expresses both emotion and intelligence,” says Chief Design Officer Gorden Wagener, “making it the ultimate statement of prestige and grace.”

Inside, Vision Iconic redefines luxury with a hyper-analog lounge experience. A spacious bench seat in deep blue velvet fosters relaxation, while a “Zeppelin” floating glass instrument panel merges analog craftsmanship with digital innovation. The pillar-to-pillar screen animates like a high-end chronograph, with a logo-shaped AI companion at its core. Mother-of-pearl inlays and brass door handles evoke Art Deco

opulence, while straw marquetry flooring, a revived 17th-century technique, adds historic artistry. This interior transforms driving into a serene, lounge-like journey, perfect for the automated future.

“VISION ICONIC IS MORE THAN A VEHICLE—IT’S A TESTAMENT TO CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION.”

Technological breakthroughs set Vision Iconic apart. Its solar paint—a recyclable, rare-earthfree coating—could generate up to 7,450 miles of EV range annually under ideal conditions, per Mercedes-Benz’s research. Neuromorphic computing, mimicking the human brain, slashes energy use by 90% for AI-driven tasks, enhancing Level 4 automated driving safety and efficiency. Steer-by-wire technology eliminates mechanical steering connections, offering effortless handling and freeing interior design for relaxed seating. These innovations, says CTO Markus Schäfer, “make the mobility of tomorrow a reality today.”

Beyond the car, Vision Iconic inspires a capsule fashion collection of six outfits, debuted at Shanghai Fashion Week. With dark blue hues and silver-gold accents, these pieces echo the car’s luxurious palette and Art Deco flair, blending 1920s craftsmanship with modern fabrics. A dedicated ICONIC DESIGN Book further captures this vision, featuring insights from CEO Ola Källenius and Wagener, alongside imagery of the car’s sculptural lines and another concept, cementing Mercedes-Benz’s place in a “sea of sameness.”

Vision Iconic is more than a vehicle—it’s a testament to creativity and innovation. From its majestic hood to its lounge-like interior, it bridges past and future, offering a glimpse into a world where beauty, technology, and sustainability converge. As Mercedes-Benz charts the course for electric mobility, Vision Iconic stands as a beacon of prestige, redefining what it means to drive iconic.

Labiaplasty

THE SECRET TO EFFORTLESS CONFIDENCE, COMFORT, AND STYLE

In the world of fashion and beauty, confidence is the ultimate accessory. But for many women, confidence can be disrupted by something most people never talk about: discomfort or self-consciousness caused by the labia. Whether it’s irritation in leggings, insecurities in swimsuits, or frustration when favorite outfits don’t feel quite right, these struggles are more common than you think.

At Temmen Plastic Surgery in Tampa, labiaplasty has become one of the most transformative procedures women choose—not only for how they look, but for how they feel in everything they wear… and even when wearing nothing at all.

Why Women Are Choosing Labiaplasty

From sleek yoga pants to designer jeans, today’s wardrobes are built around form-fitting, body-celebrating styles. Yet for some women, excess or uneven labial tissue makes these outfits uncomfortable—or even impossible to enjoy.

Dr. Traci Temmen, a board-certified female plastic surgeon with decades of experience, understands this deeply. She has performed thousands of labiaplasties for women across Tampa, Orlando, and beyond, helping them feel effortlessly confident in everything from swimsuits to couture gowns.

“Most of my patients tell me they’ve put up with discomfort or embarrassment for

years,” Dr. Temmen explains. “Labiaplasty gives them freedom—the freedom to move, to dress, and to feel confident without hesitation.”

Subtle Refinement, Natural Results

Labiaplasty is not about changing who you are—it’s about refining what you already love about your body. By reducing and reshaping the labia minora or majora, Dr. Temmen creates a smooth, balanced look that feels elegant, natural, and discreet.

The benefits go far beyond aesthetics. Patients often find relief from irritation caused by tight clothing or workouts, greater comfort in intimate moments, and the confidence to wear bold, bodyconscious styles with ease. Many describe

feeling not only more stylish in their favorite outfits but also more relaxed and empowered when undressed—able to enjoy intimacy without distraction or self-consciousness.

It’s a small refinement that delivers lifechanging results—inside and out.

A Luxury Experience, Designed for Women

At Temmen Plastic Surgery, every detail of the labiaplasty experience is designed with women in mind. From the elegant office setting to the all-female team, patients feel supported, understood, and completely at ease.

Many women are surprised to learn that the procedure is quick, virtually painless, and often performed under local

anesthesia—meaning you’re awake, comfortable, and able to drive yourself home afterward. Recovery is equally seamless: most patients return to work and daily activities within just a few days, often scheduling surgery on a Friday and resuming normal routines by Monday.

“It’s a discreet, effortless process,” says Dr. Temmen. “We make sure every step—from consultation to recovery—feels private, comfortable, and personalized.”

Where Fashion Meets Freedom

Think about the styles you love most: curve-hugging dresses, sleek leggings, or your favorite bikini. For women who have lived with discomfort or self-consciousness, these wardrobe staples can feel off-limits. After labiaplasty, patients often describe the joy of slipping into any outfit—or nothing at all— without worry, irritation, or hesitation.

This is where luxury meets lifestyle. Labiaplasty isn’t just a cosmetic procedure—it’s an investment in feeling stylish, free, and confident every single day. It’s about knowing that every outfit, from casual loungewear to a red-carpet gown, fits beautifully and feels effortless. And it’s about intimacy that feels more natural, comfortable, and fulfilling—bringing a quiet confidence that shines in every part of life.

The Temmen Plastic Surgery Difference

What sets Dr. Temmen apart is her artistry and understanding as both a surgeon and a woman. Her approach is meticulous yet compassionate, blending technical precision with an eye for natural beauty. Every procedure is tailored to the patient’s anatomy, goals, and lifestyle—resulting in timeless, elegant outcomes that never look “done.”

And with a reputation for luxury-level care, Temmen Plastic Surgery has become the trusted choice for women who want not just results, but an elevated, boutique experience.

Confidence, Comfort, and Style—Redefined

In the end, labiaplasty is about so much more than aesthetics. It’s about freedom—the freedom to move comfortably, to wear what you love, to enjoy intimacy with confidence, and to feel unstoppable in your own skin. It’s about elegance that doesn’t just show—it radiates, whether you’re dressed to impress or confidently embracing your body in its most natural state.

For women across Tampa, Orlando, and beyond, labiaplasty at Temmen Plastic Surgery is the quiet luxury that transforms not only how you look, but how you live, love, dress, and carry yourself every day.

Because true style isn’t just what you wear—it’s how confidently you wear it, both in clothes and without them.

HOLLYWOOD’S HAUNTED LEGACY

The Most Cursed Horror Movie Sets

Lights, camera… curse? Hollywood has long been a land of make-believe, but sometimes the horrors captured on film seem to bleed into real life. With Halloween just behind us and the season of the eerie still lingering, it’s the perfect time to revisit the unsettling legacy of some of cinema’s most infamous productions. Over the years, a number of spooky productions have become notorious not just for their terrifying stories, but for the strange tragedies and occurrences that followed them off-screen. Whether coincidence, bad luck, or something darker, these films have earned a haunted reputation that extends far beyond the screen.

Poltergeist (1982)

One of the most notorious examples is 1982’s Poltergeist which is often cited as one of the most cursed productions in Hollywood history. Just months after its release, actress Dominique Dunne was tragically strangled to death by her ex-boyfriend. The sequel, Poltergeist II, brought further sorrow when actor Julian Beck died of stomach cancer during production and his co-star Will Sampson passed away shortly after the film’s release due to complications from surgery. Some even attributed Sampson’s death to “bad spiritual energy” connected to his role as a Native American shaman. During the filming of Poltergeist III, child star and lead actress Heather O’Rourke died suddenly from congenital stenosis at just 12 years old. Adding to the film’s eerie legacy of deaths was the revelation that real human skeletons were used in the infamous swimming pool scene because they were cheaper than plastic replicas. Cast members were not informed until after filming. Many believe this macabre detail brought a dark energy that lingered over the entire trilogy.

The Exorcist (1973)

Another film that was plagued by misfortune and controversy both during and after production was The Exorcist. On the very first day of shooting, actor Max von Sydow’s brother died. Several cast members also died during or shortly after filming, including Jack MacGowran and Vasiliki Maliaros who portrayed key characters affected by demonic forces. In 1972, an electrical fire destroyed the main MacNeil house set which delayed production by six weeks while the set was rebuilt from scratch. Miraculously, the bedroom where the exorcism scenes were filmed was left untouched by the flames. Linda Blair sustained back injuries during one violent scene and even became the target of stalking and criticism from religious groups who could not separate her from the possessed child she portrayed. Throughout the productions, Director William Friedkin was known for employing extreme methods to elicit authentic performances from the actors including firing guns behind them to provoke real fear and even slapping a priest mid-scene.

Rosemary’s Baby (1968)

The roots of the “haunted production” narrative may trace back to Rosemary’s Baby

which is often considered the original cursed film. Director Roman Polanski’s pregnant wife, actress Sharon Tate, was murdered by members of the Manson Family just a year after its release. The brutal details of the murder resonated with the themes of ritualistic violence and Satanic influence explored in the film. Producer William Castle was flooded with hate mail that accused him of promoting Satanism before he became seriously ill with kidney failure, which some believed was related to the movie’s supposed “curse.” Even the film’s composer, Krzysztof Komeda, died from a brain injury similar to one depicted in the movie. The film popularized ideas about Satanic cults in Hollywood and helped spark decades of conspiracy theories surrounding devil worship and Hollywood’s hidden occultism.

The

Omen (1976)

When The Omen came out in 1976, it quickly joined the list of productions that seemed to attract misfortune. During a promotional trip, both lead actor Gregory Peck and screenwriter David Seltzer had their planes struck by lightning on separate flights, but during the same trip! Adding to the film’s haunted legacy were reports of a zookeeper who was mauled to death by lions shortly after working on a safari scene, and one crew member who narrowly avoided boarding a flight that later crashed. Perhaps the most chilling story is what happened to special effects artist John Richardson one year after the film’s release. Known for creating the film’s graphic decapitation scene, Richardson was involved in a car accident in which his assistant was decapitated while a nearby road sign reportedly read “Ommen – 66.6 km.”

The Crow (1994)

The untimely death of Brandon Lee during the filming of The Crow remains one of Hollywood’s most infamous on-set accidents. Lee, who is the son of martial arts legend Bruce Lee, was tragically killed by a prop gun that was improperly loaded with a real bullet fragment. He was only 28 at the time of his death, the exact same age at which his father had passed. Production of the film, which was about a man returning from the dead, was also said to be plagued by electrical fires, crew injuries, and rumors of a “Lee family curse” which cemented its place in Hollywood’s haunted history.

Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983)

There are few stories as tragic as what occurred on the set of Twilight Zone: The Movie back in the early 80s. During a helicopter stunt, actor Vic Morrow and two child actors were killed after special effects explosions caused the helicopter to lose control and crash onto the actors below. The horrifying incident led to a highly publicized trial in which director John Landis and several crew members were charged with involuntary manslaughter, though they were later acquitted. One positive outcome from this tragedy is that it prompted widespread changes in film safety regulations and child labor laws within the industry.

Annabelle (2014)

Don’t think “Hollywood’s Haunted Legacy” stops with vintage films! Even recent productions like 2014’s Annabelle have reported strange occurrences. On the set of the horror film about a demonically possessed doll, director John R. Leonetti claimed he saw a mysterious handprint on a set window that no one had touched. During the filming of a scene where a janitor is killed, a light fixture fell and nearly struck the actor portraying the demon. Crew members also frequently reported flickering lights and unexplained noises throughout production which added to the unsettling atmosphere.

The Conjuring Universe (2013)

Starring Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, The Conjuring Universe of films have become a magnet for tales of paranormal activity. Farmiga described feeling uneasy throughout filming and once found unexplained claw marks on her laptop after shooting a particularly intense scene. She even refused to bring the script home for fear of the energy it might carry. Lili Taylor and other cast members also shared accounts of strange paranormal experiences off set. In response to the growing unease, cast and crew were reportedly blessed by a priest before or during filming for many productions within the franchise, especially including The Nun and Annabelle Comes Home.

BALMAIN

Olivier Rousteing unveils a new era for the house, one where fluidity and femininity stand as strong as structure.

The Intercontinental Grand Hotel in Paris holds stories in its walls, and on this night, it welcomed another chapter in Balmain’s history. Opened in 1862 under the commission of Napoleon III, it has long been one of the city’s most glamorous landmarks, hosting royalty, celebrities, and historic events. That legacy continued as Olivier Rousteing, who just received FIT’s 2025 Couture Council award for Artistry of Fashion presented his Spring/Summer 2026 collection before a room filled with longtime supporters, loyal clients, celebrities, and social media figures who have followed him from the very beginning. Fourteen years ago, Olivier held his first Balmain défilé in the Grand Hotel. It was a statement of continuity. A reminder that Balmain is not only about innovation, but about the threads that bind past to present.

SPRING/SUMMER 2026 - THE SOFT POW ER OF

BALMAIN

This season also marked a milestone, Balmain’s 80th anniversary. A legacy that began in 1945 with Pierre Balmain’s “New French Style” continues today with Rousteing, who has both honored and redefined it for a new generation. His collection felt like a celebration of that history, while still looking firmly ahead into a new era for Olivier’s Balmain army.

Rousteing called this collection Continuum, and the word could not be more fitting. It is both a declaration and a philosophy. It’s an uninterrupted thread that carries forward his aesthetic, while staying faithful to the legacy of Pierre Balmain. He envisioned the concept as an endless horizon on a beach, recalling his childhood when seashells became his first materials of imagination, when he believed that anything was possible. That horizon

of possibility became the guiding spirit of Spring/Summer 2026: lightness, fluidity, femininity, and freedom. For Olivier it was free from constraints, free from prejudice, and free to express his truest self.

This season, Olivier showed us a softer Balmain. It showed proof that strength and softness are not opposites but equals. Relaxed silhouettes carried the same authority as the maison’s iconic tailoring. Air flowed through fabrics that moved like water: satin, muslin, georgette, and crêpe, balanced by the sunkissed touch and softness of suede, nappa, and airy knits in linen and cotton. Shapes felt liberating yet intentional. Think parachute pants, sarouel pieces, cocoon knits, bomber jackets reimagined from vintage trunks. Drapery swayed, pleats shifted with each step, and even deconstruction played its part:

trench coats became capes, sleeves unraveled into boleros, towels transformed into tunics.

Among the most striking moments of the collection was his interpretation of bustiers and the female form. This time he imagined it sculpted from raw amethyst. It was more than a garment; it was a piece of art, organic and earthly, carefully constructed with resin but evoking the untouched beauty of natural stone. In Balmain's showroom, he even unveiled a shoe built from real amethyst, merging couture with geology, fashion with nature’s raw power. I confessed that amethyst has always been the stone I’m drawn to, for the way it speaks of wisdom and protection. He laughed knowingly and admitted that he keeps many pieces of amethyst around his home. To see it reimagined here more than embellishment gave a new perspective. It was a meditation on strength, serenity, and the possibility of fashion as both armor and offering.

The details told stories of wanderlust and memory. Standout shell dresses shimmered under the runway lights, reflective of the ocean’s call. They carried an escapist wish we could all share. That sometimes, we long for a break, to lay by the sea, surrounded by nature’s raw materials and the reminder

to breathe. Crochet, tassels, and endless fringes recalled the free-spirited sensuality of bohemian voyagers. Shells appeared throughout appliquéd on dresses, dangling from accessories, re-cast on sandals. There was a dusting of sand across surfaces, an echo of the shoreline that inspired him, and a direct nod to Rousteing’s Met Gala 2024 collaboration with Tyla, where he famously used sand as couture itself. This season, sand returned not only as texture but as textile, applied with the same ingenuity to clothing and shoes. It was proof again that Olivier can transform even the most elemental material into luxury.

Accessories continued this dialogue of transformation. The house’s signature Sync and Ébène bags were reborn with the same elements as the clothes, crochet textures, sweeping fringes, and seaside charms. Footwear was equally poetic: sandals adorned with shells, dune inspired pumps, and winter boots reinvented with a daring hollowed heel. A slim architectural bar that balanced fragility with strength, just as this collection did.

This season’s message of softness, fluidity, and freedom also speaks directly to Florida’s own sense of luxury living. The collection’s

light fabrics, sensual drapes, and sun-kissed warmth feel perfectly attuned to Floridians. The pieces were made to move with the breeze, embrace the heat, and capture the effortless elegance of life by the water. And really, who’s already planning their spring and summer? I know, I am.

What resonated most, however, was not a single dress or accessory but the emotion woven through it all. This was more than fashion, it was Olivier’s own growth, a mirror of resilience and reinvention. His Spring /Summer collection became a metaphor for constancy in change, a belief that we can evolve without losing ourselves, that softness can be power, and that beauty is most enduring when it is born of memory, freedom, and love.

And so, in the very space where he first began, Rousteing reminded us that Balmain’s story is still being written. Olivier closed the circle only to open another horizon. It was a celebration of history, a vision of the present, and a dream of what is still to come. Balmain, forever moving forward, forever in motion, forever in continuum.

INSTINCT ON FIRE Inside McQueen’s

Folkloric

Fever Dream in Paris

There are runway shows that present clothing and then there are those rare moments when fashion feels like it’s summoning something ancient. That was the atmosphere as I took my seat for McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2026 show in Paris. The set felt like the beginning of a ritual. You know the one that you see in movies that begins with a towering maypolelike structure made from nearly 8,000 meters of hessian ribbon and wild foliage, created sustainably but radiating something older, more ceremonial, like a village altar waiting for a flame?

Before the first look appeared, Seán McGirr’s words pulsed through the space like a low warning: What happens when we stop tempering instinct and allow desire to take over? It lingered like heat on skin.

The opening looks arrived with precision, officer jackets cut razor clean at the shoulder, pockets displaced as though control itself had begun to unravel. Tailoring is McQueen’s sacred language, and it was still present but restless, shifting, pulled off axis. McGirr’s dresses moved with a flowing lightness yet were anchored by corseted interiors that held the body just enough before releasing into movement, while the jackets were sharp and military cool at first glance, began to fray open as they walked, threads loosening like discipline giving way to impulse.

Then came the hips. Tailoring was slung low, straps fastened only where necessary, polished metal hardware catching the light like a flash of instinct. There was a clear reembrace of Y2K whispered too, skirts skimming the hip bone, waistbands purposefully lowered just enough for the brief, deliberate flash of a G-string (or MQ strings). Not in a nostalgic, pop-star throwback kind of way, but sharpened and owned, like desire reclaimed on the wearer’s

terms. And as someone who lived through the Hilton-Spears era of low-rise denim and visible thongs, an era many swore we’d never revisit. I genuinely did not think I would see a waistband drop that low again. Yet here it was, not ironic but feral, unapologetic. As a Florida girl, I couldn’t help but, no pun intended, understand the power of a sun-kissed waistline in July heat. Sometimes instinct demands skin.

Bustiers were slashed, poplin tugged tight across the torso as if pulled by an unseen hand. Silk drifted like breath meeting wind. It was heat translated into fabric, that moment in the thick of August when the air itself feels alive.

McQueen didn’t just show the body; it framed it, worshipped it. Then the fire came. Gowns scorched in spray-paint gradients, hemlines

“MCQUEEN’S WORLD HAS ALWAYS LIVED BETWEEN CONTROL AND CHAOS — THIS SEASON, INSTINCT WON.”

kissed by flame, chiffon unraveling into molten tendrils. The gowns billowing parachute silks opened like insect wings caught mid-flight. Instinct had taken over. Lightness reigned, but never without texture. McQueen pushed contrast in the most tactile way with sharply cut wool mohair hopsack colliding with sliced printed leather, flashes of metal chainmail and gold bullion embroidery catching the light like sparks, all grounded by washed cotton twill and softened by delicate floral jacquards. Even the sunburst silk habotai moved like heat haze, that diaphanous kind of fabric that doesn’t just float, it flickers.

Accessories were displayed like relics from a pilgrimage rather than commerce. The new Manta bag reinterpreted from the archival De Manta bag, the new bags that were carved in wood and mother-of-pearl, looked like something you’d be handed at the end of a ceremony rather than something you buy. Talisman jewelry of wishbones, scissors, charms swung like personal folklore written in metal. And then there were the shoes. McQueen’s iconic horn-shaped heel from Spring/Summer 2003 returned, not as nostalgia, but as bloodline to its supporting boots, sandals, mules, like modern ceremonial armor. Nothing felt borrowed from the past. It felt inherited.

The soundtrack to the show, began with elemental textures of water and wind and then shifted into a metallic techno pulse that hit like adrenaline. It felt like the beginning of a rave at the edge of a forest, and quite frankly, in that primal setup, I was ready to stay and dance long after the final look vanished into the light. At the resee the next morning, the mood shifted from ritual to reverence. The jewelry of wishbones, scissor pendants, talismans were displayed not like product, but like relics. It felt less like a showroom and more like a hidden wing at The Met, where folklore and couture shared a glass vitrine. McQueen wasn’t just presenting fashion. They were presenting artifacts of desire.

Walking back out into the Paris light, I thought McGirr understood that primal pull. We don’t dress to hide. We dress to translate what lives under the skin.

For Spring/Summer 26 the McQueen client understands heat, instinct, and the pleasure of skin meeting summer air. They don’t sit and wait for summer… they instinctually get out and feel it.

LYNETTE SILON-LAGUNA, ESQ.

A Life of Advocacy, Family, and Leadership

When it comes to resilience, dedication, and compassion, few embody these qualities as fully as Attorney Lynette Silon-Laguna, one of Tampa’s distinguished Men and Women of the Year 2025. As founder and managing attorney of All Family Law Group, P.A., she has spent nearly three decades guiding families through life’s most challenging legal matters while building a career defined by excellence and heart.

From Orlando Roots to Tampa Success

Growing up in Orlando, Florida, Lynette showed early signs of determination and drive. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Legal Studies, she went on to earn her Juris Doctor with Honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1995. Just two years later, she opened her own firm—today known as All Family Law Group, P.A.—and set the foundation for a legacy of trusted legal advocacy in the Tampa Bay area.

Evolving Her Role

While Lynette built her reputation as a skilled litigator, today she focuses her talents on marketing and managing the firm, allowing

her team of exceptional attorneys to take the lead in representing clients. Under her guidance, the practice continues to thrive, known not only for results but also for compassion and integrity.

Building a Practice with Compassion

Family law is never easy, but under Lynette’s leadership, All Family Law Group has become known for balancing strong advocacy with genuine care. Whether guiding families through divorce, custody matters, adoption, or domestic violence cases, her firm has provided steady counsel and support to thousands across Tampa Bay.

Her work has not gone unnoticed. Lynette has been recognized with the ThreeBestRated® Award of Excellence, the Martindale-Hubbell Client Distinction Award, and listings among the Top 100 Lawyers in Florida, as well as the Top One Percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel. She has also been honored multiple times by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys for outstanding client satisfaction.

Passion Beyond the Courtroom

Lynette’s impact extends beyond the law. A lifelong advocate for animal rights and environmental causes, she has lent her voice and support to organizations that reflect her personal values of compassion and stewardship. To her, advocacy isn’t confined to the courtroom—it’s a way of life.

A Love Story at 30,000 Feet

Behind her professional success is a love story that feels almost cinematic. In 2000, Lynette met Captain Mark Laguna on “Love at

AOL,” an online dating platform ahead of its time. Their connection turned into a marriage that has spanned decades.

Mark, a U.S. Air Force Academy graduate, went on to a storied career as a Delta Air Lines pilot, eventually serving as an International 777 Captain after the couple began their life together. For Lynette, it was nothing short of thrilling: “What a thrill to know your husband is flying the jet!” she says with a smile.

Family at the Heart of It All

Family has always been central to Lynette’s life. In addition to her professional legacy, she cherishes her role as a mother and grandmother, with a daughter and grandson who bring joy and inspiration to her journey. She also shares close bonds with her sister, parents, and extended family, who remain an important source of love and strength.

Women of the Year 2025

Today, as she is honored among Tampa’s Men and Women of the Year 2025, Lynette reflects a life welllived: a career dedicated to helping others, a heart committed to causes that matter, and a home filled with love and family.

Her story is not just about legal success—it’s about balance, compassion, and purpose. Lynette Silon-Laguna stands as a testament to what it means to be a true leader: strong in the courtroom, devoted at home, and steadfast in her community.

DAVID C. MURRAY, ESQ.

Insurance Claim Attorney • Advocate • Community Leader

For more than two decades, David Murray has built a respected reputation as one of Florida’s leading insurance attorneys representing policyholders in insurance disputes. He has dedicated his legal career to holding insurance companies accountable and ensuring that homeowners, businesses, and condominium associations receive the insurance benefits they’re entitled to. His work is driven by a simple principle: helping people rebuild after unexpected loss and ensuring they’re treated fairly under their insurance policies. David and his team have represented countless Floridians recovering from hurricanes and other property losses, helping them rebuild and move forward when insurance claims are unfairly denied, delayed, or underpaid.

Beyond his legal work, David serves as Chair of the Heart Gallery of Tampa, a nonprofit dedicated to helping foster children find their forever families. Under his leadership, the organization has expanded its reach and deepened its impact across Hillsborough County, growing both the number of children and families it serves and the community programs it supports. The Heart Gallery not only connects children with adoptive families but also raises awareness about foster care and provides essential resources to help these children thrive. David’s involvement reflects his belief that every child deserves stability, hope, and a home.

David also serves as a Guardian ad Litem, personally advocating for abused and neglected children within the foster care system. This handson work reflects his conviction that true advocacy extends beyond legal representation. It’s about standing up for those who cannot stand up for themselves.

When he’s not in the courtroom or working with charitable organizations, David enjoys running along Bayshore Boulevard, attending Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Lightning games, boating in Tampa Bay, and spending time with his wife, Kim, and their two children, Finton and Penelope. His passion for justice and community continues to drive every facet of his work, both in law and in life. 109 N. Brush St., Suite #350, Tampa, FL 33602 | 813-567-5600 | MurrayLawGroup.com

JODIE SMITH DVM

Metzler Veterinary Hospital

In a career that has spanned over 25 years, Dr. Jodie Smith has been caring for beloved furbabies and their families as if they were her own. From her first day as a new associate veterinarian to becoming a seasoned practice owner, her goal was compassion and care for the patient and empathy and understanding for the family.

She came to know generations of families as she helped to grow a two doctor practice in her hometown of Astoria, NY to a large multi doctor practice. These clients still reach out to her even today for advice and just to update her on how their families are doing.

This confirms Dr. Smith’s belief that the best veterinarians are like the “family doctors” of the past. “We are there for your furbaby and your family from cradle to grave, helping through the best times and the hardest.”

Her passion for caring for others started long before her veterinary studies and career. As a young girl, after losing her beloved first dog to what could have been a preventable infection, she became determined to help prevent suffering of animals and their families, through knowledge and empathy.

Raised by a single mom, she learned she could succeed at anything she put her mind to despite any obstacles in the way. She earned multiple scholarships and honors through her academic career and graduated summa cum laude from NYU and magma cum laude from OSU vet school.

Dr. Smith and her family moved to the Clearwater/Tampa area 2 years ago. She has found new purpose at Metzler, as a mentor to newer vets as well expanding her skill set with a recent certification in Ultrasonography to continue giving her patients the best care possible each day. She is now expanding “her fur family” in Florida.

DR. JONATHAN SPAGES

For over two decades, he has helped more than 10,000 patients take back control of their health by identifying and addressing the underlying imbalances that drive blood sugar, hormone, and weight problems—rather than simply managing symptoms with medication.

Through advanced diagnostic testing, including blood, saliva, and stool analysis, Dr. Spages designs individualized programs that repair metabolism, reduce inflammation, and restore balance to the body’s systems. His three-step philosophy—Find It, Fix It, and Leave It Alone— has become a foundation for lasting transformation, helping patients achieve real results that conventional care often overlooks.

Dr. Spages is also the author of The Wellness Approach, a book that opened doors to major media appearances and opportunities, including becoming the official doctor for the former NBA team, the New Jersey Nets. He has been featured on leading radio stations such as Z100, Q104, WFME, and 103.5 in New York, where he shares his expertise on reversing diabetes naturally and improving overall wellness.

Beyond his clinical success, Dr. Spages is a passionate educator and speaker who believes that true healing begins when patients understand why their health declined—and how to rebuild it through science-based natural methods. From his Florida-based telehealth practice, he continues to guide patients nationwide toward lasting results, helping them reduce medication dependency, lose weight, and restore their energy and confidence.

His mission is simple yet powerful: to help people realize that the body can heal itself when you uncover and correct the root cause.

Whether they are playing sports, traveling, or relaxing at the beach, family remains at the center of her life. She brings that same compassion to her work, treating every patient like family and taking joy in the lasting relationships she builds through kindness, trust, and exceptional care.
