Dear Readers,
The new year is off to a bright and energetic start, filled with optimism for what lies ahead. Businesses are gaining momentum; the markets are steadily climbing, and here at Style Magazines, interest in our print editions continues to grow—though that part comes as no surprise. :-)
As we look toward 2026, there is much to be hopeful about. Even in a world that has witnessed heartbreaking acts of terror and conflict, we continue to believe that goodness, compassion, and human resilience will prevail. It is in that spirit that we welcome a year full of potential.
Now is the time to believe in growth—growth for every business, whether large or small. When we stand behind our local companies and support one another, success becomes not only possible but likely. If your business is ready to take the next step forward, let us know. We’re here to help you reach the audience and momentum you deserve. As usual in February, we present you the Doctors of the Year. Please contact any of them for your health questions.
Our readers, as always, are eager to discover new products, great opportunities, and exceptional services. Partnering with Style Magazines is a smart, effective way to connect with our vibrant local market. From print to cutting-edge social media advertising, we offer a powerful platform to amplify your presence. For more information, reach out to info@styletome.com. As always, Style Magazines is by your side—just as we have been for countless businesses—helping you maximize visibility at the most reasonable cost.
As this year unfolds, we also hope to see meaningful changes in government and banking policies regarding mortgage lending. Current restrictions are making it increasingly difficult for strong, qualified buyers to secure financing. It’s hard to justify a system where a self-employed individual with significant liquid assets is at a disadvantage compared to a lower-income employee with little security. Clearly, something needs to be reconsidered. I welcome your thoughts on this important issue—please feel free to email me at info@ styletome.com.
This month, as we celebrate love, we hope you enjoy our special Valentine’s issue—filled with stunning photo shoots, engaging editorial features, and the hottest trends of February.
Wishing you all the very best.

FEBRUARY 2026: CROSSING THE THRESHOLD INTO THE YEAR OF THE FIRE HORSE
February has always carried a quiet kind of power. It is the month where intentions begin to breathe, where the year’s energy moves from concept into motion. In 2026, that shift becomes especially tangible with the Lunar New Year on February 17th, marking the transition into the Year of the Fire Horse.
Before the Horse arrives, we complete a chapter.
The Year of the Snake has been one of shedding and internal recalibration. The Snake teaches us through stillness, through pauses, endings, and subtle awakenings that often happen out of sight. Over the past year, many were asked to sit with truths they could no longer avoid, to loosen identities that no longer fit, and to release patterns shaped by fear or survival rather than choice. The work was quiet, but profound.
On February 17th, the energy turns outward.
The Fire Horse carries a very different frequency. It is movement after stillness, breath after holding, truth after restraint. Where the Snake observed, the Horse advances. Fire adds clarity
and visibility, not to burn recklessly, but to illuminate direction. This is the kind of fire that warms, guides, and fuels purposeful action.
The days leading up to the Lunar New Year may feel charged, as though something is stirring just beneath the surface. Once the threshold is crossed, momentum quickens. February becomes the point of ignition — where ideas seek embodiment and desires ask to be lived, not merely contemplated. The Fire Horse is not subtle. It invites honesty, independence, and a deeper trust in one’s own instincts. This is a year that challenges us to notice where we have been holding back, not because we lack readiness, but because we have outgrown the need for permission. It favors authenticity over approval and motion over perfection.
What we are leaving behind feels familiar, but heavy:
- dynamics built on imbalance or emotional scarcity
- Identities shaped by endurance rather than choice
- Stories that required selfabandonment in order to belong
What we are stepping into feels lighter, but asks courage:
- self-trust and embodied confidence - creative leadership and visible expression - a sense of wealth, love, and purpose that originates within
February is an ideal moment to set intentions not as rigid goals, but as inner orientations. Instead of asking what you want to achieve, consider asking how you want to feel as you move through this year. Expansion is the Fire Horse’s compass, anything that constricts will struggle to remain. The energy of 2026 will move swiftly, but it rewards presence and integrity. Those who listen inwardly and act with clarity will find themselves carried forward rather than left behind.
As the Lunar New Year arrives on February 17, allow yourself to cross the threshold consciously.
You are not meant to tiptoe into 2026. You are meant to ride forward — awake, aligned, and self-directed.
Charles Atlas
Current Exhibition at Tampa Museum of Art
Charles Atlas’s Kiss the Day Goodbye at the Tampa Museum of Art presents a compelling video installation born from his 2015 Captiva Island residency, where he filmed the Gulf Coast sunset from his balcony over weeks to create a grid of 36 descending suns, accompanied by a contemplative soundtrack. A sculptural countdown clock tracks the 18-minute descent, looping back into renewed twilight, offering a poetic meditation on time, endings, and the cyclical nature of days and lives in the context of Florida’s coastal beauty. Jun Kaneko, born in Nagoya, Japan, developed a singular artistic language redefining contemporary ceramics through monumental scale, disciplined form, and rhythmic surface pattern. After studying painting and ceramics in California, he built an international career spanning sculpture, drawing, and large-scale public works.

Now - August 23, 2026 | Tampa Museum of Art
Silence Before Sound traces Kaneko’s evolution from early works to iconic Dango forms. The exhibition explores pause, anticipation, and visual rhythm, highlighting decades of experimentation, material mastery, and cultural influence, while revealing how scale, repetition, and restraint shape his enduring impact on contemporary sculpture and ceramics.
Now - April 19, 2026 | Dali Museum
The Endless Garden at The Dalí Museum immerses visitors in Salvador Dalí’s lifelong fascination with nature, growth, and transformation. Drawing from paintings, drawings, and immersive digital environments, the exhibition explores gardens as symbols of desire, decay, and infinite regeneration. Floral forms, insects, and dreamlike landscapes reveal how Dalí blended scientific curiosity with surreal imagination. Interactive projections and soundscapes invite viewers to move through layered, evolving spaces rather than observe from a distance. By merging art, technology, and sensory experience, The Endless Garden reinterprets Dalí’s work for contemporary audiences, emphasizing cycles of life, time, and creativity while highlighting the artist’s enduring influence on modern visual culture today.

"For me, the most important thing is who is the person behind the project. Staying humble and appreciative is really important."
With a rapidly growing global presence and a sound rooted in emotion as much as energy, Ely Oaks is steadily establishing himself as one of electronic music’s DJs to know. His approach blends modern dance production with a deep sense of musical identity, shaped by years of listening, collecting, and absorbing music across genres.
Ely Oaks’ connection to music began in childhood, surrounded by creativity at home. Rather than discovering music casually, he immersed himself in it.
“Mainly influences from my childhood and my family,” he explained. “I had a lot of art and music around me when I grew up and it was always my number one escape. I loved deep diving into listening to albums and collecting them.”
That early relationship with music continues to influence how he approaches his work today, prioritizing feeling and authenticity over fleeting trends.
Breakthrough Moments and Major Collaborations
Ely’s career surged into the global spotlight with his viral single “Running Around,” which has amassed over 100 million streams and earned a feature in Spotify’s Songs of Summer 2025 campaign. His collaborative track “Borderline” with LAVINIA further cemented his international appeal, climbing to No. 35 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 17 on the German Singles Chart. Additional standout releases include high-profile collaborations with Alok on “Tsunami” and Timmy Trumpet on “Sound Of Da Police,” as well as official remixes for industry heavyweights such as Marshmello, Nate Dogg, and most recently, James Hype.
While he remains focused on the present, Ely acknowledges how quickly plans evolve in today’s music industry. “There’s a lot of stuff upcoming, but as everything happens too quickly nowadays, the plans do change a lot.”
It was during EDC 2025 that I had the opportunity to connect with Ely Oaks and experience his sound live. The
weekend marked his first time attending EDC Orlando, as well as his first EDC experience overall. Immersing himself in the festival, he immediately felt the difference compared to European events.
“It was my very first time in Orlando and at EDC,” he shared. “It was absolutely amazing to finally experience it. The vibe felt different from festivals in Europe, and I loved it. There were great vibes and dedicated music lovers everywhere I went.”
The scale, energy, and sense of community made a lasting impression, reinforcing EDC Orlando’s reputation as a defining cultural moment within the global dance music scene.
Musically, Ely Oaks draws inspiration from artists across generations. “Probably too many to name them all,” he admitted, “but from the pioneers like Skrillex to the recent skyrocketing acts like BUNT.”
Outside of music, his interests reveal a grounded and curious side. “I’d definitely love to cook more. I’m really into food, but I ran out of time for cooking to be honest,” he says. During his Orlando stay, one experience stood out above the rest. “I was at the Kennedy Space Center here in Orlando and it was my most favorite activity. I love everything space-related and would definitely dive more into that if I had more time.”
For Ely Oaks, being a great artist goes far beyond technical ability or visibility. “There is no right or wrong,” he explains, “but for me the most important thing is how is the person behind the project. Staying humble and appreciative is really important, which sometimes gets lost in the process of making an artist career.”
When asked if he would return to EDC in the future, his answer is immediate and enthusiastic. “For me, any time.”
With meaningful collaborations already under his belt, a growing international audience, and a clear sense of self, Ely Oaks continues to rise with intention. As he puts it simply, “Thank you so much for having me, it was a pleasure.”

"SMALL, INTENTIONAL WORKOUTS COMPOUND INTO STRENGTH, VITALITY, AND CONFIDENCE OVER TIME."
If you’re craving a fitness routine that’s empowering, practical, and genuinely effective, it’s time to lift with purpose! This isn’t your high-school gym class—think functional strength, smart movements, and a total body boost that leaves you feeling capable, confident, and ready for whatever life throws at you.
For anyone balancing work, family, and a busy schedule, this approach fits perfectly. Even 30–45 minutes can improve posture, boost energy, and strengthen core, legs, and back. By adjusting weights, reps, or resistance bands, you can make every workout suit your experience level—whether you’re starting fresh, returning after a break, or maintaining strength for the years ahead.
Here’s why strength training is worth it: it’s a full-body upgrade. Strengthening your legs, glutes, back, and core doesn’t just improve how you look—it makes everyday life easier. Tasks like lifting, bending, or climbing stairs feel lighter, and proper resistance work protects your joints while boosting overall mobility. Research shows consistent lifting also supports bone health and helps maintain metabolism, so your body stays strong as the years go by.
The bonus? It’s a confidence builder. Seeing your posture improve, your arms and shoulders tone, and your energy increase is incredibly motivating. Many gyms and studios now offer small classes or one-on-one coaching, creating a supportive environment where you can learn, grow, and push yourself safely. Strength training isn’t just exercise—it’s a way to feel empowered, capable, and in control of your body at every age.
Build a balanced, full-body routine with compound and functional exercises. Squats, lunges, and step-ups target legs and glutes, while rows, presses, and pull movements strengthen your upper body. Planks, rotations, and stability drills improve core control and posture. Add single-limb variations to correct imbalances, and incorporate mobility work to keep joints flexible and resilient.
Begin with lighter weights or resistance bands, prioritizing proper form over heavy loads. Short, consistent sessions—about two to three per week—are enough to see progress. Wear comfortable gear, stay hydrated, and scale exercises to your ability. Whether at a gym, home, or online program, the key is consistency, patience, and listening to your body as you build strength over time.
The real payoff is how your body feels every day. Stronger legs, glutes, back, and core make stairs, groceries, and lifting kids easier. Better posture, balance, and energy carry over into work and hobbies. Strength training isn’t just a workout—it’s a foundation for independence and confidence.

When it comes to the Bahamas, there are countless ways to take in the incredible island views and enjoy the scenery. Our experience combined timeless architecture with an emphasis on true Bahamian culture. And what better way to experience history than by staying at the British Colonial in Nassau?
The resort feels like stepping into a living postcard, its colonial architecture framed by swaying palms, the ocean whispering in the background, and the timeless charm of a place that has hosted visitors for over a century. From the moment I arrived, I felt the perfect blend of elegance, history, and warmth.
Inside, 288 newly redesigned rooms and suites await, each curated with comfort and style in mind. Many open onto sweeping views of Nassau Harbor or the endless turquoise of the Caribbean Sea. Expect to wake up to paradise and fall asleep beneath the glistening moonlight that dances over the deep blue waters.
By day, guests can drift between the private white-sand beach, two freshwater oceanfront pools, and the colorful bustle of Bay Street just beyond the hotel’s gates. As you make your way back inside the resort, you’ll find yourself choosing from an assortment of snacking, dining, and sipping options.
Evenings were just as enjoyable. It’s when I felt the British Colonial revealed its true essence. The open and inviting environment makes it a cozy, intimate destination for savoring a cocktail or indulging in a
flavorful meal from one of the six dining venues. It’s no surprise that the newly relaunched Mahogany Club has quickly become a favorite.
Nearby, Woodes Rogers Tavern exudes timeless elegance with its vaulted ceilings, dark mahogany accents, handcrafted cocktails, and live jazz. After dinner, we followed the music to the tavern, where we were captivated by the timeless vocals of a singer who transported us back in time with soulful renditions of classics like “Stand by Me” and “I Wanna Dance with Somebody.” It was impossible not to sway or step onto the dance floor. The energy came alive as everyone shared a mutual appreciation for the nostalgic sound that filled the lounge.
The next evening, we made our way to Sakana Noodle & Sushi Bar, where we were pleasantly surprised by an exclusive, playful, and lighter take on fresh seafood and Asian-inspired fare prepared directly by one of the head chefs. He made sure our plates and stomachs were full, and our taste buds were treated to delectable flavors of the sea infused with vibrant Asian finishing. And let’s not forget the dessert done just right. The smooth texture and fresh flavors kept us wanting to eat more when we didn’t even think it was possible.
The British Colonial also shines as a premier destination for gatherings and celebrations. With more than 18,000 square feet of versatile meeting space and a choice of indoor ballrooms, lush gardens, and breathtaking oceanfront venues, it transforms every event, whether a wedding, meeting, or celebration. We even caught
The resort feels like stepping into a living postcard, its colonial architecture framed by swaying palms, the ocean whispering in the background, and the timeless charm of a place that has hosted visitors for over a century.

a glimpse of a wedding, watching as the bride and her party took stunning photos along the grand staircase at the center of the resort.
Beyond the walls of the hotel, Nassau itself beckons. One of the most memorable experiences of this visit was exploring the Bahamas Museum of Junkanoo, a vibrant space dedicated to the islands’ most iconic festival. Located at Prince George Wharf, the museum traces Junkanoo’s 300-year history, from its African roots to its evolution as the heartbeat of Bahamian culture. Exhibits brim with color and sound, with elaborate costumes, goatskin drums, whistles, and cowbells, all embodying the spirit of celebration.
Yet the highlight wasn’t just the seeing; it was the doing. We donned traditional headpieces, picked up instruments, and paraded around the building in our own mini Junkanoo rush. The beat of the drums,
the shimmer of the costumes, and the pure fun brought the festival to life. For a few minutes, we weren’t observers of Bahamian culture, we were part of it. And that can be the case for anyone; all are welcome.
We carried that same sense of connection through the People-to-People program, where we were welcomed into the home of a local ambassador. Sharing stories and a lovingly prepared meal around their table reminded us that The Bahamas’ greatest treasure lies not only in its natural beauty but also in the warmth of its people. And if you’ve been to the Bahamas but never experienced traditional Bahamian food, this is your sign to go back and do it right. When you do, make sure to try the conch fritters and conch salad, and you’ll be very glad you did. Stomachs full and conversation light and fun, it was the perfect way to conclude the trip on a note of authenticity.
The British Colonial offers a window into Nassau’s soul, where history and modern indulgence coexist. Between its sunkissed beaches, grand architecture, fine dining, and opportunities to connect with Bahamian culture, every moment becomes one to remember. Combi 50MM Square
Sunglasses
$315 / saksfifthavenue. com
These square-frame sunglasses bring a confident finish to the season’s refined silhouettes. Defined by warm Havana tones and subtle gold detailing, the design balances bold structure with understated elegance. The oversized shape adds a modern edge while remaining timeless, making them an effortless complement to tailored layers, silk accents, and polished daytime looks. Perfect for Florida’s February light, they offer both function and quiet luxury in equal measure.
The February 2026 fashion season in Florida brings a refined reinterpretation of everyday elegance inspired by Celine’s Spring 2026 Ready-to-Wear vision. Designers are channeling the relaxed sophistication of Parisian leisure into coastal wardrobes, blending tailored staples with casual ease to create looks that feel both elevated and effortless. This season’s palette juxtaposes deep navies, warm camel tones, and crisp whites with bold primaries like vibrant reds and rich blues, crafting a dynamic aesthetic that speaks to both classic refinement and modern confidence. At the heart of the trend are pieces that feel at once familiar and freshly reimagined—clean-lined blazers, structured trousers, fluid skirts, and polished outerwear that transition seamlessly from daytime outings to evening occasions.
Key motifs reflect a preppy-bourgeois influence, where satin scarves, silk accents, and thoughtful layering introduce a cultured ease to tailored essentials. Scarves tied at the neck, draped over jackets, or styled bandanalike add a playful yet sophisticated accent to crisp silhouettes. Classic navy blazers anchor many looks, paired with high-waisted trousers or flowing skirts, while knit rugbyinspired tops and relaxed chinos bring a sporty, approachable edge. Accessories remain restrained and intentional, emphasizing refined craftsmanship and balance rather than overt statement pieces.
Natural fabrics play a central role in the season’s style narrative, with wool blends, lightweight cottons, and fluid silks designed to move effortlessly in Florida’s mild winter climate. Tailoring is softened through relaxed proportions and layered styling, allowing garments to feel polished without rigidity. Tapered trousers coexist with wider silhouettes, and trench-inspired coats offer structure while supporting easy seasonal transitions. Subtle textural contrasts—knitwear paired with smooth tailoring, woven elements layered over clean lines—add depth while maintaining an overall sense of cohesion.
Beyond core garments, the aesthetic extends into complementary wardrobe essentials that enhance the refined yet relaxed mood. Wide-brimmed hats and sculptural sunglasses provide both function and elegance, while polished boots and minimalist flats bridge comfort and sophistication. Delicate jewelry with clean, understated forms adds a final layer of refinement.
Across silhouettes, the season emphasizes understated confidence and modern versatility, where structured tailoring meets fluid movement and bold color accents are grounded by enduring neutrals.

Every time I return to Paris, I’m reminded how quickly beauty can fill our senses. It’s the movement, the fashion, the energy, the endless stimulation of a city that never stops inspiring me. I savor it all. And yet, it’s often in the midst of that fullness that I feel the quiet need to slow down. Paris teaches me contrast. For every moment of indulgence, there is an equal need for restoration. For every long walk, late dinner, and visual feast, there is a return to the body, not as a luxury, but as care. That’s why every time I’m there; I make it a point to see Abi.
I met Abi years ago through GOOP, and from the very beginning, there was something unmistakable about her presence. A mother, breathwork guide, and conscious living expert, Abi brings a grounding calm that gently invites you inward. Over time, as my life has become fuller and faster, those sessions have become less of a treat and more of a necessity.
It’s not that I don’t know how to breathe, slow down, or take care of myself. It’s that when you sit with someone who works so intuitively with the nervous system, rhythm, and breath, something shifts. There is a quiet. A stillness. A sense of being rather than doing. And in a world that constantly asks us to perform, that presence feels like medicine.
Winter only deepens that need of presence and stillness. The season invites rest, reflection, and gentle renewal, yet modern
life rarely slows to meet it. Shorter days and longer nights naturally ask the body to turn inward, but instead of restoration, many of us experience depletion. We’re keeping the same pace and expectations even as our bodies quietly ask for something softer. This is where The Abi Method™ can become a meaningful practice in your everyday.
Rather than rigid routines or dramatic resets, the method is rooted in a simple belief: rhythm matters more than resolution. It honors where you are physically, emotionally, and energetically. As Abi so beautifully puts it, “True balance doesn’t come from forcing change, but from listening to what the body is already asking for.”
Inside The Abi Method™
The Abi Method™ is a gentle yet powerful pathway back to harmony, weaving breath, movement, scent, and reflection to bring the mind, body, and soul into alignment. Each ritual is intentionally simple, sensory, and grounding. It was designed to soften stress and restore natural rhythm.
The method is built around six core elements: yin yoga, breathing meditation, transformational breathwork, the power of scent, lymphatic stimulation, and reflection journaling. All elements are guided by three grounding principles: Ground. Grow. Glow.
Returning to Center
According to Abi, coming back to yourself doesn’t require a full ritual or a perfect setting. There are simple ways to return to center anytime, anywhere.
Begin with your breath, inhaling slowly through the nose and exhaling gently to signal safety to the nervous system. Anchor through touch by placing a hand on the heart or chest, feeling your own warmth. Then return to the senses.
Notice one sound. One scent. One color. What you notice, you nurture.
Returning to center isn’t about changing your life. It’s about changing your relationship to
the moment you’re in. These small pauses, practiced consistently, begin to weave themselves into everyday life. For readers here in Orlando, that accessibility matters. In a city where life moves quickly and schedules are full, the simple act of slowing down and returning to the body, the breath, and the present moment, becomes an essential form of care.
And whether that pause happens at home, between obligations, or during moments of travel, the invitation remains the same: to soften, to listen, and to come back to yourself.
As Abi so beautifully writes, The new year doesn’t need pressure. It needs rhythm.
Breath.
Clarity.
A gentle return to yourself.

These men’s Versace square sunglasses deliver a bold yet refined statement with clean lines and modern edge. The transparent grey olive frame adds a subtle twist to a classic silhouette, offering versatility for everyday wear. Finished with sleek detailing and tinted lenses, they balance luxury and function effortlessly—perfect for elevating casual looks or complementing a sharp, tailored style with confidence season after season, day to night.
Seasonal style inspired by Celine SS26
The February 2026 men’s fashion season in Florida introduces a refined vision of modern masculinity shaped by Hermès’ Spring 2026 menswear collection. Designers draw from the house’s emphasis on craftsmanship and ease, translating luxury into garments that feel light, functional, and quietly confident. The color palette centers on warm earth tones—camel, sand, espresso, and soft khaki—balanced with deep navy and inky black, creating a grounded yet elevated foundation. At the core of the trend are pieces that merge precision with comfort: relaxed jackets, fluid trousers, airy leather outerwear, and softly structured layers designed to move effortlessly between daytime heat and cooler evenings.
Key elements reflect Hermès’ mastery of material and proportion, where leather is reimagined with open weaves and perforations, lending unexpected breathability and lightness. Sleeveless knits, fine-gauge cardigans, and relaxed shirting soften traditional tailoring, while wide-leg trousers and shortened jackets redefine classic menswear silhouettes. Styling remains understated, relying on texture and construction rather than embellishment. Accessories such as bandana-style scarves, rope-soled sandals, and supple leather bags reinforce a sense of utility refined through artisanal detail.
Natural materials anchor the season’s aesthetic, with linen blends, cottons, and lightweight leathers engineered for comfort in Florida’s climate. Tailoring is intentionally relaxed, allowing garments to drape rather than constrain, while layering is kept minimal and purposeful. Straight and wide-leg trousers replace rigid cuts, and unlined jackets offer structure without weight. The interplay of smooth leather, soft knits, and woven textures adds visual depth while maintaining a clean, cohesive look.
Beyond core pieces, the wardrobe expands through considered essentials that enhance the collection’s effortless elegance. Minimal sandals and loafers provide ease without sacrificing polish, while oversized totes and travel-ready bags emphasize practicality elevated by design. Subtle details—hand-finished edges, quiet hardware, and tonal stitching—underscore Hermès’ focus on craftsmanship and longevity rather than trend-driven statements.
Across silhouettes, the season champions quiet strength and modern restraint, where relaxed tailoring, breathable materials, and earthy hues work in harmony. The result is a menswear narrative rooted in ease, intention, and timeless sophistication—well suited to Florida’s February rhythm and the evolving language of contemporary luxury.

SLEEP ISN’T JUST “REST.” IT’S THE MOST POWERFUL, FREE, ZERO-EFFORT BEAUTY TREATMENT ON THE PLANET.
By Rebecca Pierce
Let’s be honest: we’ve all had those mornings. You look in the mirror and think, “When did I turn into a grumpy raccoon who’s been dragged through a hedge backward?” Dark circles, puffy eyes, dull skin, fine lines that weren’t there yesterday—suddenly you’re convinced you’ve aged five years overnight. Spoiler alert: you didn’t. You just didn’t sleep.
Sleep isn’t just “rest.” It’s the most powerful, free, zero-effort beauty treatment on the planet. While you’re dreaming about winning the lottery (or fighting off zombies), your body is throwing the world’s most exclusive spa party for your face. Here’s what actually happens when you clock those glorious 7–9 hours.
First, your skin repairs itself like a tiny construction crew on overtime. During deep sleep, blood flow to the skin increases, delivering oxygen and nutrients while flushing out toxins. Collagen—the protein that keeps skin plump and bouncy—is produced at peak levels. Miss sleep, and collagen production drops. Hello, crepey texture and deeper wrinkles. Get consistent shut-eye, and studies show skin elasticity
and hydration improve noticeably in as little as a few weeks.
Then there’s the puffiness factor. When you’re sleep-deprived, cortisol (the stress hormone) spikes, causing fluid retention. That’s why your face looks swollen and your under-eyes resemble water balloons. Sleep regulates cortisol and allows the lymphatic system to drain excess fluid. One night of solid rest can visibly de-puff your face and sharpen your jawline—no $200 jade roller required.
Dark circles? They’re not just genetic. Sleep deprivation thins the skin under your eyes (it’s already the thinnest on your body) and makes blood vessels more visible, creating that bruised, tired look. Consistent sleep thickens the under-eye skin slightly and reduces visibility of those vessels. Bonus: growth hormone peaks during deep sleep, helping repair micro-damage and brighten overall tone.
Even acne gets better with sleep. Lack of sleep ramps up inflammation and messes
with insulin sensitivity, which can trigger breakouts. Good sleep balances hormones, calms inflammation, and gives your skin barrier time to recover. Translation: fewer angry red spots and a smoother complexion.
And let’s talk glow. Ever notice how radiant someone looks after a really good night’s rest? That’s not magic—it’s science. Sleep boosts circulation, evens tone, and plumps the skin so light reflects better. People literally look healthier and more attractive when well-rested. Multiple studies have shown that well-rested faces are rated as healthier, more youthful, and more appealing.
So next time you’re tempted to doomscroll until 2 a.m., remember: your future face is begging for mercy. Set a bedtime alarm, dim the lights, and give your skin the overnight spa treatment it deserves. Because you’re not old or ugly. You’re just sleep-deprived. Get the rest, and watch the transformation happen—no filter needed.

ATHE ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM CENTENARY PRIVATE COLLECTION

In the rarified world of ultra-luxury automobiles, few names evoke timeless prestige like the Rolls-Royce Phantom. As this iconic marque marks its centenary, Rolls-Royce unveils the Phantom Centenary Private Collection—a limited edition of just 25 masterpieces that transcend mere transportation, becoming rolling tributes to a legacy of ambition, artistry, and historical gravitas. Priced for the elite collector and crafted over three years with more than 40,000 hours of meticulous labor, this collection represents the pinnacle of the Bespoke Collective’s ingenuity, blending cutting-edge technology with artisanal traditions to honor 100 years of the world’s most revered luxury icon.
From the outset, the exterior exudes cinematic elegance, reminiscent of Hollywood’s golden age when Phantoms ferried screen legends to glittering premieres. A bespoke two-tone finish—Super Champagne Crystal over Arctic White on the sides, transitioning to Super Champagne Crystal over Black on the upper body—mirrors the flowing silhouettes of 1930s models. Infused with double the usual champagne-colored iridescent particles in the clear coat, the paint shimmers like crushed glass under light, creating a spellbinding depth. Crowning the Pantheon grille is a reimagined Spirit of Ecstasy, cast from an original 1925 Phantom design in solid 18-carat gold, plated in 24-carat for enduring luster, and fully hallmarked by the London Assay Office with a bespoke ‘Phantom Centenary’ mark. Even the ‘RR’ badges gleam in gold and white enamel, while the disc wheels are etched with 25 lines each, symbolizing the collection’s exclusivity and totaling 100 lines across four wheels to nod to the milestone.
Step inside, and the interior unfolds like a leather-bound volume of Phantom’s storied past, weaving together pivotal figures, legendary owners, landmark journeys, and defining moments through innovative materials and techniques. The rear seats, a contemporary homage to the 1926 ‘Phantom of Love’ with its Aubusson tapestries, feature high-resolution
printed fabrics developed in collaboration with a haute couture atelier—a first for the fashion house beyond runway creations. Layered narratives depict historic locales, iconic models, and abstract representations of seven influential owners, brought to life with over 160,000 stitches in Golden Sands and Seashell threads for a hand-sketched illusion. This intricate composition spans 45 panels, tailored like Savile Row suits to hug the seats’ contours, marking Rolls-Royce’s most complex seating ever.
The front seats counterpoint with hardwearing leather laser-etched in motifs inspired by archival sketches, including codenames like “Roger Rabbit” for the 2003 relaunch and a seagull for the 1923 prototype. At the heart lies the Anthology Gallery, a sculptural dashboard of 50 3D-printed aluminum fins resembling book pages, etched with abstracted quotes from a century of press accolades and illuminated to mimic cascading fireworks.
The woodwork elevates craftsmanship to unprecedented heights, introducing three Rolls-Royce firsts: 3D marquetry, 3D ink layering, and 24-carat gold leafing on stained Blackwood panels. Door compositions map Royce’s winter retreats in Southern France and summer home in West Wittering, with gold-leaf roads tracing epic journeys like the 4,500-mile Australian crossing. Flora, landscapes, and
even a recreation of Royce’s oil painting add depth, while picnic tables mirror Phantom I and VIII in etched wood and embroidered leather. Overhead, the Starlight Headliner animates with 440,000 stitches, embedding symbols from mulberry trees and honeybees to tributes like the ‘Bluebird’ Phantom II.
As Chris Brownridge, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, aptly states, this collection reaffirms Phantom’s status as “a symbol of ambition, artistic possibility, and historical gravitas.” For discerning collectors, the Phantom Centenary is not just a car—it’s an heirloom encapsulating a century of excellence, ensuring the legend endures for generations. In a world of fleeting trends, it stands as an eternal testament to uncompromised luxury.
“THIS IS NOT A MOTOR CAR. IT IS 100 YEARS OF PHANTOM HISTORY, HAND-STITCHED, GOLD-LEAFED AND ALIVE BENEATH YOUR FINGERTIPS.”

What are you worth – financially, that is?
Knowing the answer is an important first step in getting your financial house in order. You can’t be effective planning for tomorrow until you know where you stand today.
Your net worth is what you own, less what you owe. It is determined by adding your liquid and illiquid assets (such as household and personal possessions, bank accounts, investment accounts, 401k and IRA accounts, business interests, cash value insurance policies and the market value of your home) and subtracting your liabilities (your mortgage balance outstanding, car loans, student loans, etc). The difference between your assets and liabilities is your net worth.
A comprehensive review of your net worth sets the foundation for effective planning and provides a tangible barometer for better money management. An accurate net worth statement helps you identify the value and efficiency of your assets and liabilities. Here are a few examples:
• Cash flow and liquidity – Those who know their personal net worth are more likely to spend, borrow and save sensibly.
• Titling of assets – How you own your assets is important. The wrong ownership arrangement can be problematic and can have a major effect on your family’s long term financial future.
• Beneficiary designations – Conduct a beneficiary review of all qualified assets in your household to ensure they are aligned with your estate planning objectives. These include employer sponsored retirement plans, IRAs, and life insurance policies.
• Composition – This is the balance between your cash producing and non-cash producing assets. An accurate assessment will reveal items of concern, such as lack of liquidity or inadequate diversification. An undiversified balance sheet is a red-flag.
• Business interests – If you are an owner, what’s the business worth? How is the organization structured? If succession planning is a consideration, is a buy-sell agreement in force and up to date? Consider employing the services of a business valuation specialist to get a clear and realistic appraisal of what the business is worth if you were prepared to sell today.
As a rule, your net worth should be recalculated annually as part of an annual financial physical. Take steps today to assess where you stand, and don’t be afraid to consult with a professional team of advisors for advice on helping preserve and enhance your balance sheet going forward. In prefacing this introduction, we’d like to offer an observation, which should be of interest to all. Regardless of medical school class rankings, graduates are all referred to as “DOCTOR.”
With this revelation, we should all know that when choosing a physician, one must accept responsibility for adequately researching the doctor he or she is considering.
Within our present day society, most licensed to practice medicine are truly miracle workers whether they are completely restructuring someone’s face or saving a life.
As much as we realize that every physician is an asset to our
community, we also know that some have established themselves at the top of their profession and are considered special; these are the ‘elite,’ the very best of the best.
When seeking perfection, we search for the professional who has made it his or her life goal to excel within a field of specialization through many years of study, dedication and determination, continually challenging themselves to advance their knowledge; these brilliant human beings not only save lives but also enrich their communities with a skill set second to none. Beyond this and in order to stay abreast of the latest, almost daily changing
medical advancements, the ‘elite’ undergo rigorous maintenance, updating through seminars, conferences and advanced studies to keep current with new technology and procedures.
In adding our ‘Tampa’s Doctors of the Year’ section with this issue, we present a group of physicians, all of whom are reputable, Board Certified in their areas of expertise, extremely well recognized within our community and chosen by their peers. Our objective is to initiate a continuing dialogue with our readers, with an aim toward personalizing some of the finest doctors available.

Dr. Theresa Rodeghero, owner of Clearwater Family Dental, grew up with dentistry woven into the fabric of everyday life. Raised on a small family farm, she learned early the values of hard work, integrity, dedication, and caring for others—lessons that would later shape her approach to patient care. At just 13 years old, she began working in her father’s dental office, where she witnessed firsthand the relationships he built and the compassion he brought to every patient interaction.
Motivated by a desire to make a meaningful impact on people’s health, Dr. Rodeghero first pursued a career in dental hygiene. Her experience as a hygienist deepened her commitment to patient education and preventive care, ultimately inspiring her to continue her education and earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
After graduating, she returned home to work alongside her father, the late Dr. Paul Rodeghero, whose influence remains central to her practice
philosophy. Today, as the owner of Clearwater Family Dental, she is proud to carry forward the legacy he built—one grounded in integrity, excellence, and a genuine dedication to treating the whole person, not just the smile.
Dr. Rodeghero is passionate about combining modern dentistry with a holistic, patient-centered approach. She values open communication, collaborative care with other providers, and empowering patients with knowledge so they can make informed decisions about their health.
Outside the office, she continues to embrace the values she learned growing up on the farm: staying grounded, working hard, and always leading with heart. At Clearwater Family Dental, she remains committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, supported, and cared for—just as her father envisioned.

Dr. Vu Tran, dentistry has always been about more than teeth—it’s about people. As the founder of Transform Dental, Dr. Tran set out to create the kind of dental office he would want for his own family: welcoming, honest, and free of judgment or pressure. Today, that vision has come to life as a closeknit, family-owned practice where patients are known by name and treated with genuine care in Ellenton, Florida.
Dr. Tran’s journey into dentistry was shaped by a deep appreciation for healthcare and service. Born in Vietnam, Dr. Tran and his parents came to the U.S. when he was 2 years old. He credits his parents with instilling in him a deep-seated work ethic and
compassion for others. After completing his education at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Dental Medicine, he moved to Manatee County with a clear purpose—to provide high-quality dentistry while making patients feel truly comfortable and heard.
Patients often say what stands out most is how much time Dr. Tran takes with them. He believes in listening first, explaining options in plain language, and partnering with patients to create treatment plans that fit their needs, goals, and budgets. Many reviews describe Transform Dental as a place where dental anxiety fades and is replaced by trust, kindness, and confidence.
Dr. Tran proudly works alongside his wife, Danielle, the practice’s co-founder and hygienist. Together with their team, they’ve truly built a family practice that is warm, supportive, and focused on doing what’s right for every patient.
Outside the office, Dr. Tran enjoys boating, sports, and spending time with his wife and friends. That same down-to-earth approach carries into his work every day, where his greatest reward is helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and proud of their smiles.
As a pediatrician, I’ve spent years watching families do everything “right” and still struggle to get timely support for their child. Long waitlists, fragmented referrals, and rushed appointments often leave parents with more questions than answers. I founded Wildcatt Professional Services (WPS) with my sister Karen to change that experience for Tampa Bay families.
WPS was built for the moment a parent realizes something isn’t quite right—and the system can’t respond fast enough. Tampa Bay is growing rapidly, and so are the demands on pediatric and school-based services. Developmental and behavioral concerns don’t wait, but specialty appointments often do. When families can’t access help early, challenges escalate and caregivers are left trying to interpret behavior, attention concerns, emotional regulation, sensory needs, or uneven development on their own.
Our practice is intentionally designed as a gap-fill resource—a place families can turn to when they need clarity now, not months from now. We offer online and in-person visits through a cash-based, appointment-only model that prioritizes responsiveness and practical guidance. Most families walk away from their first consult with answers—and a clear, actionable treatment plan—so they can move forward with confidence instead of waiting in limbo.
Our services include developmental-behavioral support, family guidance, practical planning, health and nutritional education, and in-house weight management services. By integrating medical expertise, therapeutic insight, and systems-level understanding, we support the whole child and empower caregivers with direction that feels clear, modern, and human. Early support changes trajectories. Tampa families deserve care that helps them move forward—especially in the space between concern and solutions. That’s the heart of WPS, and the reason we’re honored to serve this community.

Since childhood, we’ve been immersed in some of the greatest love stories of all time. It begins with fairytales read aloud and Disney princes and princesses who portray love as something magical yet external. As we grow older, those stories evolve into romance movies and novels, continuing to shape how we understand and define love.
We are taught that love means falling in love with someone else, and were conditioned to believe that the most meaningful love story we will ever experience exists with another person. But looking back now, I’ve come to realize that I see it differently.
Although I love, love, and believe that there is a special connection out there for everyone, I am a firm believer that the greatest love you will ever experience is the love you cultivate within yourself.
And here’s why -
When you love yourself wholeheartedly, you invite the world to do the same. It may sound simple, but self-love is a journey. The journey is one that requires forgiveness, acceptance, and the unlearning of beliefs that often trace back to childhood. It asks for honesty with yourself, and for a deep, unwavering belief that you are worthy of the love you desire. It is from this place that you begin to attract and experience love
By Maha Chaudhry
rooted in respect, admiration, and, most importantly, a strong love for yourself.
I’ve heard many people say, “I’ll be happy when I meet the love of my life.” But the truth is, happiness is yours to claim right now, and it comes from nowhere other than within.
Can a healthy relationship add to our happiness? Absolutely. But, unless we feel fulfilled on our own, we may struggle to receive love from others. Instead, it can feel temporary. Something that briefly lifts us up, only to eventually fade away. But when you practice self-love, you are continually reminded of your own worth, something I believe should be a prerequisite for any relationship. This is why healing is so important, especially after heartbreak. Healing allows you to release what no longer serves you, including limiting beliefs, and opens the door to receiving healthy love once again.
When healing is neglected, it’s easy to fall into cycles of disappointment without fully understanding why the same patterns keep repeating. You can absolutely grow alongside another person, and a healthy relationship makes space for that growth. Still, it is essential to enter a relationship as your authentic self. And if that means tending to old wounds so that you can show up fully and honestly, then allow yourself to accept
that
Remember, what you give - you get back.
Have you ever noticed how some of the most meaningful moments in life arrive without warning? There’s a reason people say love finds you when you least expect it. It often appears when you’re fully immersed in your own life, honoring your dreams, goals, desires, and the things that genuinely light you up. When you are focused on becoming your truest self, you move through the world with an effortless energy that naturally draws others in. That kind of energy is magnetic, uplifting, and contagious, because it comes from a place of alignment and authenticity
This month, and always, whether you are partnered, single, or somewhere in between, make self-love a priority. Treat yourself to something that brings you joy, and take a moment to celebrate you - your growth, your resilience, and everything you’ve navigated to become who you are today. And if you need the reminder, let this be it: you are profoundly deserving of the love you seek, both for yourself and from others. Claim it with confidence.
As Rumi so beautifully said, “What you seek is seeking you.” Fall in love with yourself, and love will always find its way to you.
