Our studio is excited to be leading the architectural process of our latest acquisition in Silves.
The remodelling includes an extension on the first floor, with a detached volume in a ‘hanging box’ concept, challenging the existing double-height ceiling of the dining room without interfering with the glazed façade. The patio offers two leisure areas: a barbecue area at the level of the dining room and a pool area with a raised deck, creating a dynamic path between the entrance and the pool at different altimetric levels.
The roof terrace is revalorised with a new metal staircase with access from the bedroom terrace facing the street. On the first floor, the new ‘hanging box’ platform accommodates a bed and office space, offering a privileged view of the courtyard and the historic tower, standing out as an element of contemporary architecture that blends harmoniously with the historic context.
