I am delighted to share the outstanding academic achievements of our 2025 Year 12 SACE and IB students. Throughout the year, these students embodied our School values of Courage, Creativity, and Compassion, demonstrating unwavering dedication and resilience in all their endeavours.
We congratulate our Emily Medal recipient, Rongxin Shao (SACE) as our 2025 Dux of School, whose ATAR result placed her in the top 0.1% nationally. Rongxin achieved a Merit in Mathematical Methods and English B HL, alongside two University High Distinctions.
Our 2025 Dux of IB, Ashani Amarathunga, achieved outstanding results with Merits in Chemistry HL, English A Literature, Physics SL and Mathematical Analysis and Approaches SL.
I also congratulate our Bessie Hill Memorial Medal recipients, Siqi (Maggie) Zheng (IB School Assessment-based Dux) and Olivia Park (SACE School Assessmentbased Dux), whose consistent excellence across their studies reflects both academic rigour and a deep commitment to learning.
We also acknowledge the outstanding leadership of our 2025 Head Prefect, Mollie Kennett, whose contribution to our School community was recognised with the Governor of South Australia Commendation Excellence Award.
39 percent of our 2025 SACE Stage 2 students achieved an ATAR of 95+, placing them in the top 5% of the country. There were 36 Merits, 77 A+ grades and 21 University Distinctions/High Distinctions were achieved.
St Peter’s Girls’ School is proud to be the only all-girls school in South Australia offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, and our 2025 IB cohort continues to set a high standard of academic learning with 26 Subject Merits and over two-thirds of all IB grades achieved in the A band.
