Church Family News 1. The Guild of Friendship meets tomorrow at 14.15 in the Hall for a Beetle Drive All welcome. 2. The Guild meets in the Hall at 14.00 on Thursday 13 February for “Div ye min’?” (part 2). All welcome. 3. O.A.K. Special Lunches. The O.A.K. Café remains closed; however, the following dates are for special fund-raising meals and the named good causes (12.00-14.00). Tickets (£7) will be made available in the weeks leading up to each lunch. Thursday 5 March Friends Thursday 7 May King School of Kings, Ghana Thursday 20 August Archie Foundation Please also note the following date in your diaries: Friday 25 September Special afternoon tea for MacMillan Cancer Care (14.00-16.00). Tickets (£5) will be made available in the weeks leading up to the afternoon tea. 4. Befriend a Child are looking for Kilt Walkers to join their team at the Aberdeen Kilt Walk on Sunday 7 June. Walkers are asked to fundraise for the charity by taking part in either The Mighty Stride: 26 miles, The Big Stroll: 15 miles or The Wee Wander: 5 miles. The team will help create more smiles by walking the miles for the children supported by Befriend a Child in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. If you are able, please bring along one item of nonperishable (canned/packet) food each week to place in the food collection bin located in the hall. 6. Intimations. Please ensure that all intimations are passed on to the Church Office by 12.00 on Wednesday each week for inclusion in the Order of Service.
