Church Family News
1. The Guild of Friendship meets tomorrow at 14.15 in the Hall for an afternoon of reminiscing with friends. All welcome. 2. The Kirk Session meets in the Session Room on Wednesday 15 January at 19.15. Copy Minutes of the previous meeting are available in the Deacons’ Room this morning. 3. The Inductions and Ordination of Mr. Jonathan Clipston as the new Minister for Newhills Parish Church will be held on Thursday 16 January at 19.00. All welcome. 4. City-wide Prayer Gathering. The next meeting is at St. Columba’s, Bridge of Don on Friday 17 January at 19.30. All welcome. 5. The Prayer and Healing Programme continues at Holburn West Church on Saturday 18 January at 09.30 with speakers Mr. Robbie Morrison, Church of Scotland Mission Development Worker and Ms. Carole Clarke, an NHS Hospital Chaplain in Aberdeen. All welcome. 6. Somebody Cares. If you are able, please bring along one item of non-perishable (canned/packet) food each week to place in the food collections. We currently have two bins located in the hall but once the donations have been uplifted this will be reduced to one bin. 7. Intimations. Please ensure that all intimations are passed on to the Church Office by 12.00 on Wednesday each week for inclusion in the Order of Service. 8. Please let us know of: (a) Any member of the Church or a member of their family being in hospital; or
