Church Family News 1.
The Annual General Meeting will be held after morning worship this morning. Copy Minutes of the last Annual General Meeting are in the Deacons’ Room this morning.

Meetings. It was agreed at the Kirk Session Meeting that all church meetings will be held at 19.15pm.
3.
The Guild of Friendship meets tomorrow afternoon at 14.15 in the Hall for their afternoon tea party. All welcome.
4.
The Guild meets on Thursday 28 March at 14.00 in the Hall when Elma and Dolly will give a presentation on “Indian Travels”. All welcome.
5.
Bible Study with Stiubhart continues on Thursday 28 March at 19.30 in the Session Room. All welcome.
6.
Daffodil Tea. The Social & Fundraising Team is holding a Daffodil Tea in the Hall from 14.00-16.00 on Saturday 30 March. Tickets are available from Anne Donaldson.

Circle of Care. If you are able to assist in the transportation of members to and from the Circle of Care Communion on Palm Sunday (14 April), please add your name to the list in the Vestibule.

Choral Group. There will be a rehearsal with the Choral Group for the Easter Day Service. The dates and time of the rehearsals are 10.15 on 31 March and 7 & 21 April. All are welcome to come along and join us.

Safeguarding. There will be a Safeguarding Training by Ann Hepburn, Aberdeen Presbytery Trainer for volunteers and staff on Thursday 11 April 2019 from 19.00 to 21.30 (registration from 18.40) in Jubilee Hall, South Holburn Church, 539A Holburn Street, AB10 7LH. If interested, please speak to Helen Burr.
10. Fire Wardens Due to current legislation it is necessary, and important to carry out on an annual basis, a fire drill in St. Mark’s. To enable us to carry out this task it is necessary to appoint a number of Fire Wardens to assist in the safe evacuation of the building and halls. We are looking for volunteers from the congregation to assist. The only requirement is to be reasonably
fit and able to ascend and descend the staircases. Training will be provided. For more details please contact Alan Brown, Milton Montgomery or leave your name with Carole in the office. 11. Somebody Cares. If you are able, could you please bring along one item of non-perishable (canned/packet) food each week to place in the food collections. There are two bins, one in the Vestibule and one in the Hall. 12. Anzac Day Service. A service is being held in St. Machar’s Cathedral on Thursday 25 April 2019 at 19.00. Refreshments will be served after the service. All welcome. 13. Retired Police Officers’ Association Scotland wish to convey their sincere gratitude to St. Mark’s Kirk Session for the use of the church on Saturday 16 March, and particularly to all church members who made the Service a memorable event and who were responsible for the superb catering. 14. CLAN Cancer Support is looking for volunteers to work at CLAN House and at their retail stores. If you can offer them some time, please see the posters in the Hall and Vestibule for information on how to contact them. 15. Intimations. Please ensure that all intimations are passed to the Church Office by 12.00 on Wednesday each week for inclusion on the sheet. 16. Please let us know of:a) Any member of the Church or a member of their family being in hospital; or b) Any member of the Church who is unable to come to Church on a Sunday and who would appreciate Home Holy Communion.
