The Guild of Friendship meets tomorrow afternoon at 14.00 in the Hall when they will be celebrating a 100th birthday. Entertainment will be provided by Audacity. All welcome.

The Guild and the Men’s Club meet together tomorrow evening in the Hall at 19.30 for a sing-along with Jim Addison. All welcome.

The Scottish Country Dance Class meets on Wednesday 6 February at 19.30 in the Hall. All welcome.

The Mission & Outreach Team meets on Wednesday 6 February at 19.15 in the Session Room.

The Flower Team need your help in identifying those who would enjoy the lovely flowers that adorn our Church on Sundays. Volunteers are also required to deliver the flowers. There is no need for volunteers to be added to the rota, but if you can help, please contact the Flower Team during the week prior to the Sunday on which you are available. Long Service Awards. The Moderator will be visiting Aberdeen on Friday 8 February. A service will be held in Ferryhill Parish Church at 19.30 that evening. During the service Long Service Certificates will be awarded and Doreen Gray will be receiving her service for 40 years’ service as an Elder. Congratulations Doreen. All are welcome to attend.

Retiral of Boys’ Brigade Captain. The Captain of the 30th Aberdeen Company (affiliated to St. Mark’s), Stewart Innes, is retiring from this roll in May this year. In recognition of Stewart’s 40 years of dedicated service as a BB Officer, the Kirk Session would like to make a presentation to Stewart at the BB Dedication Service to be held on Sunday 17 February. If you would like to contribute to this presentation please give your donation to Alex McConochie, Treasurer.

General Assembly 2019 Youth Reps. The General Assembly 2019 will take place in Edinburgh from Saturday 18 May to Friday 24 May 2019 and each Presbytery is invited to send one young adult (aged 18-25). If you are/know of

Aberdeen Inter Faith Group have their AGM on Monday 4 February at 19.00 in the University of Aberdeen Multi-Faith Chaplaincy Centre, 25 High Street (enter by back door). Dr Alessandra Cecolin from the School of Divinity, History and Philosophy will talk on Jewish, Muslim and Christian Peace Initiatives. All welcome.
