A faith-based education for the 21st Century, preparing today's children to be tomorrow's servant leaders.

“Catholic education is an education of the heart.”
Peace and blessings to you and your families As we reflect on the past academic year, we are filled with gratitude for the many ways our students, staff, and community have grown together in faith, knowledge, and service It is our privilege to share highlights from academic year at St Louise Parish School
Faith and Spiritual Development
Our mission to nurture a strong foundation in Catholic faith remains at the heart of all we do. Students across all grade levels participated in weekly Mass, daily prayer, and opportunities for Reconciliation. Our older students took leadership roles in liturgies, while our youngest learners began building their understanding of God’s love through stories, song, and prayer. Service projects allowed students to live out the Gospel values in meaningful ways
Academic Excellence
We continue to provide a rigorous and engaging curriculum that supports the intellectual growth of every child This year, we saw strong progress in literacy and mathematics across all grade levels. Our middle school students demonstrated critical thinking and leadership through project-based learning and collaborative assignments and we continue to implement our STREAM (STEM + Religion + the Arts) cross-curricular and projectbased approach to teaching & learning. Preschool and elementary students built essential foundational skills through hands-on, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
Beyond the classroom, students participated in a variety of enrichment opportunities, including art, music, physical education, and extracurricular activities Highlights included our annual school play, science fair, and CYO sports These experiences foster creativity, teamwork, and confidence in our students.
Our dedicated teachers and staff continue to inspire and guide our students with professionalism and care. Ongoing professional development ensures that we are using best practices to meet the diverse needs of our learners while staying rooted in our Catholic identity We are also deeply blessed with three amazing priests who give much of their time in spiritual guidance and support to our students
Community and Partnership
We are deeply grateful for the partnership we share with our families. Your support through volunteering, attending school events, and reinforcing our values at home strengthens our school community. Events such as family outings, fundraisers, and faith celebrations brought us together in joyful and meaningful ways.
As we prepare for the coming year, we remain committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled environment where every child can thrive We look forward to expanding our academic programs, enhancing technology resources, and continuing to grow in our mission Thank you for entrusting us with the education and formation of your children May God continue to bless your families and our school community.

Every June, we recognize our Volunteers Extraordinaire those who have a long history of giving above and beyond their time and devotion to our students, staff, and school
Our award recipients are chosen from nominations submitted by school staff and fellow parents For the 2024-25 school year, our Volunteers Extraordinaire were Laura Bonner and Janey Rabon

Laura has been a school parent since 2010. She has enjoyed being a room parent, planning fun activities for the students and showing the teachers our appreciation. She has also been a mentor parent and a school office volunteer. She chaired multiple school auctions, building community and raising needed funds for our school. Laura is now serving the Parents Club as the Volunteer Coordinator.

For almost 11 years, Janey has been a mainstay of our volunteer community What began as tending school grounds evolved into an eight-year labor of love as yearbook coeditor alongside Penny Williams Through her photography and program management, Janey captures fleeting moments, turning them into lasting memories for every family Beyond the lens, her work on the school commission helps guide strategy to drive academic excellence and foster a welcoming culture. Janey’s dedication ensures the essence of our school is not only preserved in print but felt in the enduring, memorable experience she creates for St. Louise.
Each June, two students entering their 8th grade year at St. Louise receive the Noel Lyons Memorial Scholarship. And, one student entering his or her 6th grade year receives the Dave and Darlyne Glaze Memorial Scholarship.

Noel Lyons was a St. Louise student who passed away shortly before his 8th grade graduation. Noel was known as being a friend to everyone, a genuine caring person, and a good student. One of his classmates, Mitch Brotherton ('82), has provided two annual scholarships in Noel's memory for the past 20 years. We are so very appreciative of Mitch's generosity.

The Noel Lyons Scholarship recipients for the 2025-26 school year are Sophie D’Costa and Akean Fawcett.
Dave and Darlyne Glaze's son Doug ('73) established an annual scholarship in their memory The Glazes were founding members or our parish and former St Louise School parents We are very grateful for Doug's continued support for the past 18 years
This annual scholarship is given to one student entering the 6th grade who best embodies the same Christian values and exemplary Catholicism which were embraced and personified by Dave and Darlyne Glaze The Glaze scholarship recipient for the 2025-26 school year is Matthew Cardona.
We are excited to announce the inaugural Veronica Williams Memorial Award, established during 2025 in honor of Mrs. Veronica Williams, the longest-serving employee in the history of our school.
For more than four decades, Mrs. Williams faithfully served the St. Louise community as a Math, Science, and Technology teacher and as moderator of our successful Math Team.
While her academic excellence was widely recognized, what truly distinguished Mrs. Williams was her wholehearted commitment to her 8th-grade students. She believed their final year at St. Louise should be meaningful, joyful, and celebrated. If there was something to organize, she was already planning it. From birthday lunches and bake sales to Vasa Park Day, the Baccalaureate Mass, graduation breakfast and ceremony, and the beloved grad night dance, she worked tirelessly to ensure each class left with lasting memories.
We are deeply grateful to the generous donors listed below who established this scholarship in her honor, ensuring that her legacy and lasting impact will continue to shape the St. Louise community for generations to come.
