In general, the year-to-date number of reported cases of enteric illnesses are slightly higher when compared with the median of the past five years. Notably, cases of salmonellosis (37 vs. 31 cases, 19% increase) and yersiniosis (6 vs. 4 cases, 50% increase) are higher when compared with the year-to-date median of the past five years.
