Information for your Wedding
Deposit & Payment Information
Deposits are based on the expected revenue determined by your Wedding Expert. In order to confirm the event date, the contract must be signed and returned with a deposit equal to 25% of the estimated wedding package cost. Additional deposits are due prior to the event in accordance with your contracted deposit schedule. All remaining charges including heaters, fans, vendor meals, children’s meals and wedding enhancements will be charged to the credit card on file six business days prior to the event. Food and Beverage Service Policy Watersound Club, as a licensee, is responsible for the administration of the sales and service of all beverages and food products. This is in accordance with the Florida Alcoholic Commission and Florida State Health Regulations. Therefore, no food and/or beverage of any kind may be brought into or removed from the function.
Additional Fees and Required Rentals Additional Items not included in the wedding package include floral and décor, table and napkin linens, ceremony and reception chairs, and any meals outside of the contracted package. One bartender is provided for every 50 guests. If more bartenders are requested, there is a $150 fee for each bartender provided to serve your event. One uniformed chef is provided for one carved entree station during the wedding reception. Upon request, the fee for additional chefs and stations is $200 plus tax per Chef. Guarantees We require that you provide a guarantee of the number of guests attending 14 business days prior to your event. If no guarantee is provided, the estimated attendance or the actual attendance, whichever is greater, will constitute your guarantee. Wedding Planners A professional wedding planner is REQUIRED. We prefer that you utilize one of our Preferred Wedding Planners from our lists to coordinate all details for your event. Full Wedding Planning is required, and documentation must be sent to your Wedding Services Manager within 30 days of the signed Letter of Agreement. Wedding Vendor Day Once your wedding is contracted with Watersound Club, we ask that you take advantage of a vendor day. Your Wedding Expert will coordinate a tasting with our Executive Chef. You are also welcome to invite your wedding planner and other vendors to join you that day to walk the event spaces, review logistics, discuss design and setup, and collaborate on details for your wedding. We request that vendor days be scheduled Monday through Thursday, and approximately four to seven months prior to your wedding date. Menu Tasting A complimentary tasting for up to four guests is provided for weddings. A charge of $100 plus tax will be charged to the Master Account for all additional guests attending the tasting. Children’s Meals Children’s meals are charged as follows and pricing includes non-alcoholic beverages: Ages 11-20 dine from the Dinner Reception menu $200++ per person Ages 3-10 with a pre-selected children’s meal $40++ per person 2 years of age and under dine at no charge from the Dinner Reception Menu

Preferred Wedding Vendors Floral, Decor, and Lighting
We require that floral, decor, and lighting for your special day be provided by one of our Preferred Floral Vendors. An Event & Floral Designer will meet with you at the venue to ensure that your expectations are met. Each of our vendors is recognized for creating customized arrangements to complement the unique style and color palette of your wedding. We welcome photographs or magazine articles that may depict your ideas, enabling designers to replicate a concept or tailor the decor to your specific requests. You can expect our skilled floral professionals to deliver the most distinctive and exquisite floral creations. Prices for floral services offered will vary depending on decor, the type of flowers chosen, the size of the arrangements and seasonal availability. Entertainment We require that a Watersound Club Wedding Manager approve all entertainers before you enter into a contract. A copy of the entertainment’s contact, rider, and proof of insurance must also be provided at least 60 days prior to your wedding. In accordance with county noise ordinances, all music must conclude no later than 10:00 pm.
Frequently Asked Questions Can I host my Ceremony at one venue & Reception at another? Watersound Club requires that both the ceremony and reception be held at the same venue if you are hosting your wedding with us. We are unable to accommodate split-location weddings. However, we are happy to host other wedding weekend events—such as your rehearsal dinner, welcome party, or farewell brunch—at one of our other venues, subject to availability. Can I place a hold on a date? Yes, we are happy to place a soft hold on a date for a limited time while you finalize your decision. If another couple inquires about the same date, you will then have 48 hours to make a decision before the date is released to the next party.
What is required to secure my date? In order for your wedding date to be held on a definite basis, we require a signed contract along with a 25% deposit based off of your total estimated cost.
Do I need to hire a wedding planner? Yes. We require all couples to work with a professional wedding planner to ensure a seamless planning process and wedding day.
Can I use my own wedding vendors? Couples are welcome to select their own photographer, entertainment, hair and makeup artists, and other vendors with prior approval. Florists must be selected from Watersound Club’s approved vendor list. Are tables, chairs, and linens included? Tables, chairs, linens, and specialty rentals are not included and should be coordinated through your wedding planner and rental company. Basic china, flatware, and glassware are included with your food and beverage package. Can we customize our Wedding Menu? Absolutely! Our culinary team offers a variety of menu selections and enhancements to help create a dining experience that complements your celebration. You’ll have the opportunity to select your menu in advance and experience your selections during your menu tasting. Your Wedding Expert and culinary team will guide you through the process and available options.

A complimentary stay at Camp Creek Inn for the wedding couple on the evening of the wedding is also included. What is your weather contingency plan? Many of our ceremony and reception spaces are outdoors, and tents are required for most weather contingency plans. We strongly recommend working with your Wedding Planner and rental company early in the planning process to reserve the appropriate tent for your wedding date. Most rental companies allow tents to be placed on hold with a deposit, giving you the peace of mind that a weather plan is secured should it be needed. Your Wedding Planner and Watersound Club Wedding Services Manager will work together to determine the appropriate weather plan as your wedding approaches. Can we bring our own alcohol? All alcoholic beverages must be provided and served by Watersound Club. Outside alcohol is not permitted. What time must our reception end? In accordance with county noise ordinances, all music must conclude no later than 10:00 pm.
Do guests staying at Camp Creek Inn have access to Watersound Club amenities? Yes! Registered guests staying at Camp Creek Inn become Members for their stay and have access to Watersound Club’s Member amenities throughout their visit. This allows your guests to enjoy the Club experience beyond the wedding festivities, including access to golf, dining, pools, beach amenities, wellness facilities, and more. Can we arrange tee times during our wedding weekend? Golf is a wonderful addition to the wedding weekend! Tee times may be available for Watersound Club Members and registered guests staying at Camp Creek Inn, subject to availability and Club policies. Tee times are not available to wedding guests who are not registered guests of the Inn. Your Wedding Expert can provide additional information and assist with golf inquiries as your wedding weekend approaches.
