Welcome to St Hilda’s School As the 12th Principal of St Hilda’s, I am delighted to extend a heartfelt welcome to our school community, consisting of dedicated staff, students, and families. With a legacy spanning over 114 years, St Hilda’s takes pride in its tradition of empowering young women. BOARDING A Home Away from Home Our architecturally designed, newly refurbished boarding facilities provide a safe, modern and welcoming home for more than 180 boarders, right in the heart of our campus. Designed with girls in mind, these spaces balance comfort, community, and independence. Boarding is a time of growth and connection. At St Hilda’s School, we partner closely with families to create a supportive environment where every girl feels she belongs. With caring and experienced staff living onsite, boarders are guided, supported and inspired by positive role models. Academic success is supported through our prep program, while our wellbeing program encourages balance, health, and resilience. Girls enjoy a wide range of activities, from beachside recreation to community service and benefit from tailored opportunities that nurture their talents and interests. Through their journey, our boarders develop independence, confidence, and compassion — values grounded in our Anglican tradition and our motto, Non Nobis Solum – Not For Ourselves Alone. Head of Boarding – works closely with the Heads of Sub-Schools to shape strategic decisions that enrich every boarder’s experience.

Heads of Junior and Senior Boarding – provide daily pastoral care for girls and families, guiding them through opportunities and challenges of life away from home.

Residential Tutors – support study sessions, helping with home learning, organisation and assessment preparation.

Boarding Supervisors – offer nurturing, day-to-day care, supporting routines and wellbeing much like a parent or carer.

Registered Nurses and Psychologists – provide professional care during times of illness, challenge, or change and support smooth transitions into boarding life.
