TONIGHT'S
NIC CHAMBERLAIN
Nic has been performing in his home town of Toquerville, Utah, since he was just three years old. Before leaving home, he sang harmonies in a barbershop quartet, thoroughly impressing the members of his grandmother’s book club with swooning ballads.
After serving as a missionary for his church, Nic spent his 20s pursuing a legal education and starting a family. His work as a free-lance drummer helped put food on the table. After starting a law practice in his home town, Nic did his best at a time when the nation was experiencing The Great Recession. However, an artist can only take so much litigation. When he hit his
seventh year of practice, music's call became irrepressible. He recorded an album in the basement of his home. Taking daily drives to nearby abandoned freeway ranch exits, he wrote songs and practiced guitar on his lunch breaks. Since then, he’s released many other works. Nic was able to woodshed his performing skills and stage presence for sold-out theaters in Canada and the midWestern United States. While keeping Nic's law practice going in Southern Utah, he relocated to Los Angeles in 2018 to further establish a music career. He continues to release singles, utilizing studios in LA and St. George to do tech, but continuing to play all the instruments and sing.
ALEX CHAMBERLAIN Alex Chamberlain's first stage performance was at the age of two, when he regaled a small audience with facts about the Tiger Salamander while his brother Nic sang I'm an old cowhand from the Rio Grande. Performing has been an integral part of his life ever since. Alex is a tenured professor of Art at Utah Tech University, where he

chairs the Art Department. He teaches Animation, Photography, and Paleoart. Some of his favorite projects have been: crafting a life-sized T. rex skull for museum display, a home-made, street-legal electric car (before they were cool), a life-sized working R2-D2, and several animated short films. Alex's photography work can be seen throughout the mountain west. Despite his artistic diversity, nothing quite compares to the thrill of playing rock and roll with his brother on stage.

The American Red Cross in Southern Utah is a vital member of the community, dedicated to preventing and alleviating human suffering in emergencies. Serving over 1 million people across 15 counties, the Central & Southern Utah chapter has a rich history dating back to 1917. Key achievements include providing disaster relief during wildfires and floods, supporting military families, and organizing blood drives. Over the past 5 years, Red Cross has collected over 29,000 units of blood saving countless lives. They also
excel in community preparedness through CPR, First Aid, and emergency response training. What makes the Red Cross unique is its volunteer-driven model, with a vast network of dedicated volunteers who are the backbone of its operations. Their mission is to mobilize the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors to respond to emergencies, making a significant impact on the community. The Central & Southern Utah chapter stands out for its unwavering commitment to humanitarian aid and its ability to adapt to the community’s evolving needs.
The mission of Root for Kids is to promote the success of children one family at a time. Since 1993, we have served over 20,000 pregnant women, infants, and toddlers by providing home-based parent education, clinical and child health and development services throughout Washington County, San Juan County, Iron County and along the Arizona Strip. We serve over 600 families every month through home visiting and centerbased programs like Early Head Start for low-income families, Early Intervention for infants and toddlers with developmental
delays or conditions, Parents as Teachers for pregnant women in stressful situations, on-site parent/toddler Kindermusik classes and center-based childcare. Our staff consists of family support specialists, nurses, psychologists, nutritionists, childcare providers, music instructors, and speech, physical and occupational therapists. Root for Kids has built a solid foundation for sound fiscal management, creative programs and consistent, high-quality services to an ever-growing population of children in need throughout Southern Utah.
