Between 2017 and 2018, West Overton Village produced The Village Progress newsletter as a glossy, full-color publication. Design responsibilities included complete layout, typography, photography integration, and advertising placement. Each issue balanced historical articles, organizational updates, and community features with a professional, magazine-style presentation
The design approach focused on readability and consistency, creating a publication that elevated the organization’s image while engaging members and supporters. The result was a polished, donor- and visitor-facing piece that reflected the historic and cultural mission of West Overton Village.
