Born in the Seychelles in 1965, Harry Brioche’s early life was shaped by island adventures until political upheaval forced his family to relocate to England in 1980. A self-taught artist, he pursued a career in illustration and graphic design, working with major brands like Dr Martens and Coca-Cola before focusing on fine art.
From a young age, Harry was captivated by the drama and beauty of the British landscape, its idyllic shores, and the ever-changing atmospheric sky. This endless source of inspiration drives his desire to capture and share the beauty and poetry of a moment. His objective is to convey the atmosphere and ‘spirit’ of a place through his art, with mood and light becoming the central themes of his paintings.
His paintings are held in private and corporate collections worldwide and regularly feature in exhibitions, including at London’s Mall Galleries.
Harry Brioche’s journey from the serene landscapes of the Seychelles to the dramatic vistas of the British countryside is a testament to his artistic vision and dedication. His work continues to inspire and captivate audiences, ensuring his place among the celebrated artists of our time.

Colin Carruthers is a contemporary landscape painter whose work captures the shifting atmosphere and luminous light of the natural world.
In recent years, he has focused particularly on the landscapes of Southern France and has developed a deeply intuitive painting practice shaped by travel, memory and emotional response to place. Drawn to the same regions that inspired artists such as Monet, Cézanne and Matisse, Carruthers explores the relationship between land, sea and sky, capturing fleeting moments of light and atmosphere.
Whether depicting coastal paths, mediterranean pines or quiet harbours, his work seeks to convey the essence of being present in a landscape — the warmth of the sun, the movement of air, and the ever-changing character of nature.
After spending many years based in the U.K., Carruthers now lives and works from his studio in rural France.

Daniel Shadbolt (born 1980) is from Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire, just north of London in the UK. He moved to London to study painting at the Chelsea College of Art and Design (2000-2003). Following his degree in Fine Art he completed The Drawing Year at The Royal Drawing School (2003-2004).
He has taught painting at The Heatherley School of Fine Art since 2008 and became an elected member of The New English Art Club in 2015.
His book on ‘Painting and Drawing the Head’ was published by The Crowood Press in 2016.
Recent highlights included a landscape commission from The Peninsula Hotel at Hyde Park Corner in 2021 and a floral still life commission for Anomie Collections 1 in 2022. In 2024 he had a solo exhibition In East Dulwich. He also showed pictures at The London Art Fair.
About his painting Daniel states “I paint portraits, still lifes, landscapes and interiors. Spending my time observing, mixing colours and painting, motivates me to continue and to try out new ideas. My style has become more abstracted over the years as a result of two things; one is the simplification of what I see, in order to be able to paint it, and the other is in the technique of painting, breaking down the painting process and arriving at a simplified expression.”
