Scent seekers & candlemakers of Cornwall St Eval was born in the Cornish countryside. From our clifftop home in North Cornwall, we work with nature to collect fragrances and turn them into wildly scented candles. Each one is a journey, an experience, a landscape we love.

A tangle of sun-warmed fruit trees, where ripe apples and wild berries drift on the breeze. Sweet, green, and softly nostalgic.

Fragrance at the heart of St Eval From our home in North Cornwall, we’re surrounded by nature’s ever-changing rhythms. Salt carried on the Atlantic breeze. Wildflowers dancing across the fields beyond our workshop. Hedgerows, gardens and coastal paths that shift with the seasons. These moments of the natural world are woven into our everyday and inspire every fragrance we create. For over thirty years, fragrance has been at the heart of St Eval. Long before a candle is poured or a diffuser is blended, we begin with scent. We look to the landscapes around us and the feelings they leave behind – fresh, grounding, uplifting and restorative. Each fragrance is created to help people reconnect with nature and discover moments of joy in the everyday. Gathered into fragrance families inspired by the natural world, they invite customers to explore the fragrance landscape of St Eval. From candles and reed diffusers to bath and body care, our collections are designed to carry fragrance through different moments of the day. Each product offers another way to experience the scents people love and to bring the wild in, wherever they are.
Because fragrance has the power to stir memories, change the mood of a room and transform the feeling of a moment. It helps us reconnect with nature, with our senses and with the beauty found in the everyday world around us. That has always been the St Eval way. Fragrance shaped by the wild beauty around us, shared through thoughtfully made products that bring nature closer, every day.
Working with nature Across our 100 acres in North Cornwall, wildflower corridors shift with the seasons, hedgerows hold their shape through wind and rain, and bee hives hum quietly in the long grass. It’s a working landscape, but also a living one tended with care, allowed to grow and change rather than held in place. That same way of working runs through everything we make. Our production is powered by wind, solar and biomass, helping bring our products to life using energy drawn from the same natural world that inspires them. As a certified B Corp, care for people, place and the world around us guides everything we do.
