About Tampa Bay and Gulfport You’re going to love it here, professionally and personally. Florida is a rising legal hub, with 10% growth in the number of attorneys over the past decade. Tampa Bay is the second largest metropolitan area in the state, and has 50% more legal-sector jobs, proportionally, than the average U.S. metro, meaning more opportunities for you during school and after graduation. And while you’re in school, you’ll be studying in one of the most desirable locations in the country. The Gulfport campus, devoted solely to the College of Law, is an oasis of beauty and calm—an offset to the intensity of law school. The warm and inclusive cities of Gulfport and nearby St. Petersburg offer an array of restaurants, shops, museums, and sports, while America’s best beaches are just minutes away. It’s a great place to live and learn.
