THEPROJECT

The project involved the engineering and supply of 68monolithicbathroompods, custom-designed to meet the highest standards of safety, robustness and functionality required by contemporary detention facilities.

Commissioned by Devi Impianti, the development included threelayouts, with geometric variations designed to optimise internal spaces and adapt to the specific floor plans of the complex.

Particular attention was given to the selection of internal components, designed to ensure highresistanceand protectionagainst damage.

The specification includes stainlesssteel sanitaryfixtures, anti-vandaltapwareand servo-assistedsystems, engineered to ensure long-term durability and controlled water consumption.

MATERIALSANDTECHNOLOGIES

• Structure:base, walls and ceiling made in concrete

• Floorfinishing: slip resistant gres porcelain tiles R11 20 x 20 cm Alba – Cipa Gres / Graniti

• Wallfinishing: gres porcelain tiles 20 x 20 cm Oumi- Cipa Gres / Graniti

• Sanitaryfittings: suspeded in stainless steel 18/10 satin-finished steel– Franke

• Shower:showerhead with anti-rotation device – Franke

• Taps: flush kit with time-controlled regulation and electronically controlled by an external module with piezo-eletric control, on a stainless steel plate with anti vandal fixing

• Plumbinginstallation:in parallel with manifolds; sheathed and removable cross-linked polyethylene pipes – Uponor / Quick& Easy

• Electricalinstallation:equipped with vandal-proof plate and electric components - AVE

• Heatingsystem: cast iron radiator with anti-vandal fixing, without lockshields and valves on the lines - Idealclima / Neoclassic

• Ventilation:white aluminiumwall inlet grid– MP3 with anti vandal fixing and with 45° ventilation fins.
