Welcome to the TK “Only the Best” Online Sale. Tommy Bennett and his wife Katie have assembled one of the most elite set of high genomic Angus genetics in West Texas which have caught attention in the Angus business nationally. Tommy & Katie are two of the finest and most passionate human beings that I have ever met, and they are dedicated to building an elite set of Angus females in Menard, Texas that will exceed the demands of the current Angus breed. With this vision they have chosen to change their game plan and make their program smaller in numbers and more elite in marketability. This allows them to cut back over head in management and day to day cost and focus that money on elite Angus matrons. Getting to the offering we lead off with choice of the Montana Blackbird daughters. The Blackbird cow in my opinion is one of the greatest breeding pieces in America today. This individual not only knocks it out of the park on DNA, but creates cattle that have a look, are massive bodied and frankly are just flat good! The choice will be between a fancy Deadwood baby that reads perfectly or the super cowie and attractive Radiant daughter. Lots 2 & 3 are two elite herd sire prospects that hit me hard on picture day. The Iconic has balanced phenotype and off the chart numbers and the Clarity is smoking attractive and super balanced numbered. Leading off the weaned calves are Lots 4 & 5. Both are out of hot bulls, both are big time numbered and both are out of two of the most elite cow families in the breed. These kind make great ones! 6 is a super stout Salvation out of 6073, and 8A & 9A were two of my favorites on picture day and are daughters of Clarity. The yearling heifers are all super attractive, but 10 & 11 both hit me hard. The Lot 13 donor is big time good, and someone really doesn’t want to fall asleep here. The pairs are strong and the baby’s elite, I really like 15A & 16A.
