Welcome to the pages of our annual “Don’t You Think It’s Time” Bull Sale. That title is the persistent calling of the past, present, and future in our efforts to bring value to all cattlemen, both purebred and commercial. You can’t survive 5 generations and 100 years of raising Shorthorn cattle without some adversity, but we continue to push the limits of providing cattle that prove their merits in a most humble way; there’s no fluff here.

What an exciting time to be in the beef business as we see new records set every day. What a better time to invest in the future of your enterprise whether it be seedstock, pushing your cow herd to new levels, or pursuing excellence in carcass and efficiency in a feedyard, it all starts with a solid and predictable herd bull battery. The Shorthorn breed continues to surge and having spent the week in the Yards in Denver, I think anyone would agree, it was a tremendous showing across the board. Our breed and its breeders continue to reach a new level of respect within the purebred industry.

This year, we are pleased to have our friends from Illinois, Wise Shorthorns, included in the offering with generations of success in the Shorthorn breed. They are good friends and partners in seeing the livestock business with the same set of scrutiny as we do.

Our operations continue to challenge ourselves in improving our genetic platforms while staying true to our foundational standards in sustainability.

We would like to thank everyone who has been a supporter of ours over the years, some for several generations. We couldn’t do it without you, the buyer! We also couldn’t showcase these bulls without the Will family and the “Cow Palace” facility. It’s a great venue and we encourage everyone to join us on sale day.

Terms and Conditions: The terms of the sale are cash or check. Payment to be made to the clerk immediately following the sale and before the cattle are removed from the WCC Cow Palace. Purchasers or their representative must sign the bill of sale prior to leaving the sale site. The animal becomes the property of the purchaser as soon as sold. Any death or injury therafter falls upon the buyer.

Billed Accounts: All billed accounts are due within 10 days following the date of the sale date. At 10 days, a two percent service charge will be added to the unpaid balance and an additional two percent will be added every 30 days therafter unless previous arrangements ahve been made with the seller.

Insurance will be available for purchase at the at the settlement desk at the conclusion of the sale.

Health: Each animal will be represented by a state approved health certificate for shipping. All animals have a complete vaccination program and are up-to-date.

Breeding Guarantee: All the bulls will pass a breeding soundness exam. The bulls are guaranteed to be fertile and reproductively sound. This guarantee does not cover injury or death.

Liability: Neither the owners, employees, auctioneer, sale manager or other affiliated personnel can be responsible for any accidents, but they will make every effort to provide for the safety and comfort of those attending.
