Adam and Carl Schlipf (Alan’s Grandpa and Great Uncle) get involved in the Angus Industry by purchasing a group of cows from the A.D. Bradshaw herd. They hold a production sale beginning 1953 and through the 1960’s.
1999
The first heifer to carry the PVF prefix, PVF Dameron Proven Queen 822, wins the National Junior Angus Show Grand Champion Heifer.
2008 Began a partnership with Transova Genetics as a Satellite Center and began using In Vitro Fertilization as a tool for growing production from proven donors
2011 PVF hosts its first annual Spring Production Sale focusing on fall born heifer calves, pairs, and herd sires.

PVF TCF Frozen wins Grand Champion Bred and Owned Bull at the National Junior Angus Show for Amelia. Grand Champion Owned Female at the National Junior Angus Show was sold as an embryo from PVF. PVF Blacklist 7077 and PVF The Natural 7042 are born and leased to Sexing Technologies and Griswold.
