Once again it is “Sale Time”, and we are really looking forward to hosting the 2025 edition of the Lasting Impressions Sale. We are pleased and excited to offer what we feel is one of the most versatile, highest quality groups of breeding cattle and show prospects that we have offered. We are all very anxious for our customers and friends to see and evaluate this set and look forward to good conversations about them with you.

2025 has been a very special year for all the firms consigning to this sale as we have each had tremendous success at many events, especially at the National Level. Since Cattlemen’s Congress in January, from the Champion Pen of 3 bulls and females at Congress to the Champion Bull and Female in the Shorthorn Edge Show, to the ultimately having our Consigner’s also receiving recognition for the National Show Heifer of the Year and Res National Show Bull of the year. Nearly all these winners will have dams or siblings in this sale that may possess even more potential than our recent winners. You will notice a lot of references to these cattle in the footnotes in many of this year’s sale features.

Once again, we are also excited to have guest consignments from Hudlow Cattle (Congratulations Jennifer & Jacob on your recent marriage), XTB Cattle Co., RockinH Farms and Stutzman Red Angus for providing an absolutely outstanding set of Simmental, Lim-flex, Mainetainer, and Red Angus heifers for our sale. We want to thank these great cattlemen for their hard work and dedication to bringing such a nice set of “other breed” females to complement our offering.

We sincerely hope that everyone interested in our sale offering will be able to attend. However, if that is not the case, we are dedicated to provide updated pictures, videos or any additional information that might be necessary to assist with your purchasing decision. Likewise, we are pleased to be working with the folks at CCI.Live to facilitate your bidding online as the sale occurs. Additionally, we will have a compliment of highly qualitfied sale consultants that can and will help with your buying decision and bidding needs.

Thank You for your consideration and attention to the 2025 Edition of the “Lasting Impressions Sale”.

We hope to see you on the 18th of October in Isabella, Oklahoma!

Sincerely,

The Bedwell’s & Hudlow’s The Blankenship’s The Aegerter’s

JCB ASLA Rosebud 5413 may be one of the best from our program to date. Her beautiful color matches her perfect nature and attitude towards being handled and managed. As good as her picture is, she is better in person. If you get to see Rosebud in person, you will notice she is softer bodied and more dimensional in her width than her picture would indicate. You will also be impressed with her presence as she travels. She is just simply beautiful as she moves. Rosebud is incredibly flexible in her skeleton which facilitates unmatched correctness in her topline and rump structure. For a female with this much show ring potential, Rosebud uniquely possesses a strong EPD Profile that allows her to rank in the top 25% of non parent animals for $CPI while still being in the top 40% $BMI. This one will be a lot of fun!

241N is the result of our commitment to think outside the box and try to breed better and more unique cattle. This roan, polled, sound structured female has added volume and rib shape combined with an extra shot of stoutness all with an eloquent lady like maternal build. Her dam, 241K, is a full sister to KANE Lady Reward 613C the dam of the 2024 Reseve National Champion Female at Denver for Jaycie Stutzman, KANE Lady Reward CW 61K. Retaining 50% embryo interest.

LBD Brave UH 504 ET is the kind of heifer that stands out in any pasture or show ring. Deep cherry red, bold-ribbed, and soft-made, this female combines a balanced, maternal build with the presence and style to turn heads. She’s square-hipped, level-topped, and tracks true from behind — the kind that’s easy to look at and even easier to build a cow family around. From a proven donor cow and sired by one of the most consistent herd sires in the breed, this ET heifer blends eye appeal with genetic predictability. Whether you’re looking for a show prospect, replacement female, or future donor, Brave UH 504 ET offers the quality and foundation to make an impact.

LBD Brave UH 522 may be the youngest calf of this mating but that definitely does not take away from her quality. She is a no-nonsense female that brings practical power and maternal quality in a sharp, attractive package. She’s bold in her rib, wide at the ground, and easy in her movement. Her softness and balance make her an easy choice for both the show ring and the pasture. She descends from our Brave donor and carries the kind of depth and flexibility to thrive in real-world conditions — all while holding her own in the backdrop. If you’re looking for a female that blends longevity, look, and volume, this one’s for you. This one is very hard for us to let go.

This deep-bodied, square-hipped red heifer is the kind that demands attention in the pasture and the show ring. She offers a flawless profile, with plenty of rib shape, sound structure, and an attractive front third. Her balanced build makes her an ideal show heifer for a junior looking to be competitive, but she’s equally valuable as a future brood cow. All three of the full sisters are quite impressive you can’t go wrong with the Brave x Upperhand mating.

JCB Dawn 514N ET brings a unique combination of older genetics to a very bold and modern form. I haven’t seen too many opportunities to buy these really nice Byland Soggy Dog daughters in other sales and to have one that has such an outcross pedigree of maternal strength and performance is really special. Her mother HA Dawn 546 FL was quite a specimen of soundness and functionality. Dawn 514N is yet another of these heifers being offered that might contribute a great deal from the donor pen! Full sib heifer pregnancy sells as lot 37A.

This heifer brings the kind of striking look and balance that gets noticed — bold in her rib shape, level in her lines, and extra attractive from every angle. This roan female carries that classic Shorthorn look with added structural integrity and brood cow potential. She’s the product of our proven Goose’s Bo donor and our Braveheart sire that is known for making consistent, high-performance progeny. Maternal sister to the National Show heifer of the year! Clean through her front one-third with the depth and flank to work in the show ring or the real world, this one’s bred right and built even better.

Here’s a female that brings a feminine maternal look with added style and softness. She is a good complete heifer that is deep-bodied, level-hipped, and correct in her structure, with a bold rib cage and feminine front end that makes her stand out from the side. She’s got cow power written all over her, and that extra white on her underline adds a bit of chrome for the show ring, too. She’s a Maternal Sister to the National Show heifer of the year. Backed by our trusted Gooses Bo donor cow and and Cates Upperhand bull that is known for performance and look, she brings function, pedigree, and presence in one balanced package. This heifer is very sweet and great first showman prospect.

Dont miss this girl! LBD Merci’s UH 520 ET is the kind of female that draws attention with her smooth design and soft, maternal look. She’s moderate in her frame, but bold in her rib shape, offering the kind of volume and center body dimension that’s hard to build without sacrificing femininity — yet she does it effortlessly. This heifer is square-made, level-topped, and balanced from every angle. Her muscle is shapely without being coarse, and she blends strength and style in a very complete package. Her front one-third is clean and attractive, and she stands on a solid, functional set of feet and legs. Maternal Sister to the National Show heifer of the year.

The Hazel cow family is quickly becoming one of the most sought after female lines in the Simmental breed because of their foot soundness and skeletal flexibility. Nova’s Sire, STCC Tecumseh 058J, also selected as Supreme Champion at Cattlemen’s Congress, adds to the genetic complementarity of the resulting mating that made Nova N121. With parents like these it is no wonder Nova 121N is such powerhouse of recognizable phenotypical traits of maternal softness, soundness, dimensionality and structural strength. This set of twin heifer calves have been a fun pair to watch since the day they were born. The mother of these two has well earned her spot at our house as a productive, high milking cow with awesome confirmation that raised both heifers on her own. Our favorite part about the twins is that they are complimentary of each other. This female has always stood out as the later maturing, longer necked, higher tying one of the pair that has awesome balance and an incredible silhouette. JCB City Lights 415M is a great beef bull and he just happens to be a Shorthorn! His build and phenotype is one of power and masculinity while is genomic profile indicates he will be a herdsire that should sire calves that will be easier to be born and grow to have extra muscularity and thickness. You might find it beneficial to pull up the extended pedigree on this guy. He is basically straight Byland Shorthorn pedigree. Only JSF, Leveldale and Studer Shorthorn firms appear on the 3rd generation of ancestor listings. His Dam was our sale feature female in last year’s Lasting Impressions Sale where she topped our offering and sold to Langford Ag and Wright Cattle Co. here in Oklahoma.

JCB JJ Made to Order 311L is a proven young sire that will be a difference maker in any herd. 2 daughters, 5413 and 515N are both in the sale and will set themselves apart from other heifers because they are uniquely stouter yet still feminine and soft middled with a little extra performance. It is a challenge to find a calving ease bull that still has the ability to sire offspring that are both good and represent some growth from birth to weaning. Made to Order’s dam, Byland Augusta 7TM20, was another female we leased from the Freed’s. She was a successfully proven producer and the Freed’s felt like their most productive cow at the time. Her longevity, productivity and maternal strength are very important traits for a herdsire’s dam to have for most cattleman. A herd bull is a very important investment. With his pedigree, genomic profile and phenotype the decision to invest in Made to Order 311L should not be tough to make.

Selling 100% possession and retaining semen rights to be negotiated with buyer.

JSF Adelaide 26H is arguably one of the breed elite Shorthorn dams. She was recognized in 2024 as a Shorthorn Performance dam. Her 2023 son JCB Roan Power 306L (her 2nd calf raised naturally) was selected as the Grand Champion Bull at the Shorthorn EDGE Show at the 2025 Cattleman’s Congress and the following Sunday was chosen as the Sr Division Champion in the Super National Shorthorn Show at Congress. Roan Power ultimately went on to earn the recognition of Res Champion National Shorthorn Show Bull of the Year. Her most recent calf is JCB Adelaide 507N and is likely one of our best daughters of Byland City Lights. She is definitely one of the standouts in this very strong group of sale heifers. 26H has yet to be flushed but without a doubt merits the consideration to be a donor, I have little doubt that 26H eventually will leave a tremendous impact in any program and very likely the Shorthorn Breed. There are a multitude of possible mating’s with Adelaide 26H that will

JCB Adelaide 507N is quite a uniquely built female! She is incredibly trim necked, clean chested and just massively built through her middle and hip. 507N is no accident to look this way. She is a maternal sister JCB Roan Power 306L who was recently named Champion Bull at the 2025 Cattleman’s Congress Champion Bull in the Shorthorn EDGE show. Her mother, JSF Adelaide 26H was recognized as a performance dam at the 2024 ASA National meeting. It is no wonder she ranks in the top 5% of Non-parent animals for $BMI and also in the top 10% for $CPI. These daughters of Byland City Lights 1GL56 are incredible cows. With 507N’s pedigree and EPD profile, she will likely be one of the best and should be considered as a potential foundation female by the most progressive Shorthorn Breeding programs.

She calved unassisted, weaned our 3rd highest WDA heifer and bred back first service to Made to Order. We all talk about shorthorn females and their abilities but Red Nan 309L truly sets a very high mark for others to measure up to! Pasture Exposed to JCB Made to Order 311L from May 3rd through Sept 1, 2025.

JCB ROAN NAN 515N 30A

JCB Roan Nan 515N is the daughter of our popular 2025 Congress Shorthorn EDGE show entry that was named Res Div. Champion in that show. Like her mother, she shows evidence of being powerfully built, big volumed and maternally designed. Her strength and design is no accident. Please take a minute to study the power in her pedigree. Many trait leaders and notable sires and dams of the Shorthorn breed are present in 515N’s pedigree. This heifer is another we are offering that ranks in the top 10% $BMI as well as top 15% of $CPI that has looks and soundness that should contribute to any program.

Leveldale Red Nan 031H leaves quite an impression when in her presence. She is ever bit as massive bodied and sleek fronted as her picture would indicate. This Boardwalk 530C daughter is the front pasture kind. A quick review of her EPD profile is quite impressive and allows her to rank in the top 15% or $BMI and top 20% $CPI and as a bonus is in the top third of shorthorn females for $CEZ and $F! It is no wonder she produces animals like 501N, her daughter in this sale and her first calf, JCB Lonnie 208K serving as a herd sire for Blazing A Shorthorns in Iowa.

Sells bred to JCB Made to Order 311L after being exposed from May 3 through Sept 30.

Red Nan 0034 ranks in the top 1% of Shorthorn females for $BMI and is in the top 3% for $CPI and $F. She is not just all numbers. Powerful, strong muzzled, big square feet and the stature and build to be a viable contributor to Shorthorn genetics for many years. There will be a common theme of genetic power throughout that group of these females that are correctly built, high performing and are very quiet natured. All 3 of those females I just mentioned represented our herd this past January in either the Shorthorn EDGE Show or were members of the Champion Pen of 3 females at the 2025 Cattlemen’s Congress. Red Nan OO34 has yet to be flushed but merits strong consideration to become a Shorthorn Donor

Waukaru Primabella 1030 is the dam of the popular Champion Shorthorn Female in the 2025 Cattleman’s Congress Shorthorn EDGE Show, 4S Primabella M21 ET. 4S Primabella M21 ET was also selected as the Reserve National Champion female in the EDGE show at the most recent Shorthorn Junior Nationals in Grand Island NE. A natural calf daughter, JCB Primabella 412N was a member of our Champion Pen of 3 Shorthorn hiefers at 2025 Cattlemen’s Congress and perhaps her most powerful daughter, JCB Primabella 402M who joins the offering in this sale. It is safe to say that Waukaru Primabella 1030 is dynamic in many ways. Her genetic profile is incredibly balanced with phenomenal Carcass EPD’s in addition to ranking high in the life cycle $indexes offered by our ASA. (top 5% $CPI, Top 10% $CEV, Top 20 $BM, top 25% $F). At Congress she was a class winner in the Junior show and finished 3rd in a tough class in the open show. She went on to be a Junior Heifer Calf Champion at the Dixie National Show that same winter. 315L had the misfortune of delivering a stillborn calf so she spent the summer recovering.

She calved unassisted, bred back quickly and weaned a fleshy nice steer calf that we will sell privately. Janet 316L is the maternal older sister to JCB Janet 516N. The mother of these 2 females is Leveldale Janet 007 whom we leased from Jim and Beverly Freed. 2 NON-SEXED IVF EMBRYOS

Selling one package of two non-sexed ivf embryos.

Sire:

This has been reliable mating for performance and quality. Our leadoff bull in the recent Champion Pen of 3 we exhibited at the 2025 Cattlemen’s Congress would be a flush-mate to these embryos. He also became our high selling bull as Lot 1 in our “”Win the Battle”” online bull sale. We have yet to get a heifer out of this flush so my guess is she is in one of these two embryos. Embryos are located at Cross Country Genetics in Crescent Ok.

HA Dawn RC FL SV 624 has been one of our top producers since mating her to Byland City Lights 1GL56. Her May heifer calf by him last year brought $6500 and went to Texas where she has experienced success as a show heifer and this year she produced a steer calf that was the first one to sell privately. She is a maternal sister to the Dawn 514N Soggy Dog sired heifer calf that is in this sale. Consistency has been a mainstay of the Dawn cow family for the Gibler’s in Kansas so when we purchased her in their dispersal sale we were exited to get to work with her and we have certainly not been disappointed. Her dam was finally finished at age 16 and looked like she was 8, that longevity will favor 624 as well.

HA Dawn RC FL SV 624 was exposed to JCB Made to Order 911L (reg#4357010) from May 3rd through Sept 1, 2025.

Sire:

PREGNANCY

This pregnancy is a flushmate to JCB 514N, lot 8. As consistent as both contributing parents of this mating are, I would expect nothing less than an a good one. We were too late with the ultrasound to confidently determine the sex of the calf so we would call this calf’s sex “”unknown””. Here is also an opportunity to purchase a really nice recipient that has proven herself as fantastic recipient mother for us. She is a 1500 plus pound Angus cow so she is big enough to do the job!

Wow....that is pretty unique to rank that high in both of those index values.

Her pregnancy to Waukaru Classify with his extra thickness and shape with complimentary genomic values should suit this young female quite well to result in a spectacular calf! 416M was pasture exposed to Classify 4121 from May 11, 2024 through Sept 1, 2024.

STUDER’S

JCB Rosewood 408M is a fabulous daughter of Gilman’s All In 6K and one of our favorite Leveldale females, Leveldale Rosewood 824F. 408M is a very nice blend of her parents in that she is a feminine fronted, high performance, thick made, high volumed female that moves comfortably on her big strong skeleton and well shaped feet. She is a maternal sister to JCB Rosewood 315L that was exhibited at Cattlemen’s Congress in 2024 to a class winner spot in the Junior Show and later shown at the Dixie National to be a Junior Calf Division Champion.

JCB Rosewood 408M carries a pregnancy to our exciting Jr herdsire, Waukaru Classify 4121. 408M was pasture exposed to Classify from May 11 through Sept 1, 2025.

JCB Rosemary BC 421M uniquely brings together popular parent lines from both a performance and showring selected Shorthorn animals. I think you will find 421M to be both attractive and practical as a result of the outcross complementarity of bringing these very different genetic lines together to make this beautiful red female. She to carries a natural service to Waukaru Classify 4121 where we recorded a breeding date of June 4 to him. She ran with him from June 4 through Sept. 1, 2025. This should be a very nice match of phenotype and genetic potential as well!

By his genetic profile, he is a calving ease sire that ranks in the top 10% of the breed for $BMI and $CPI while posting EPD’s for Growth and Carcass traits that allow him to rank in the top 15% for $F. He also has the ability to show and be recognized for his phenotypical excellence. At the 2025 Cattlemen’s Congress “”Roan Power”” was named Champion Bull in the Shorthorn EDGE Show and then 2 days later recognized as the Senior Division Champion in the Super National Shorthorn Show also held during Cattlemen’s Congress. Within the Next month of Congress, he was exhibited at NWSS, FWSS and Dixie National and was named Division Champion or Res at Each event to earn him the recognition of being named 2024-25 Res Champion Show Bull of the year. His dam, JSF Adelaide 26H sells in this sale and was recognized as a performance dam in 2024. BYLAND GLOBAL 5M10

Byland City Lights 1GL56 has been one of the best investments of Shorthorn breeding stock we have ever made. We were looking for a calving ease sire with some shape when we found “City LIghts”. What we got was a calving ease sire that can generate great females, outstanding males, and all have solid performance a great build and confirmation in a sensibly sized mature animal that won’t break the bank maintaining them as adults. You will see a very strong group of maturing cows and a fancy set of open heifer calves. Their EPD’s tend to be balanced and high enough ranking to keep them competitive in both the Shorthorn EDGE Show as well as in the Pen Show at Cattlemen’s Congress as City Lights was the sire of all three of our heifers in the Champion pen 3 heifers. He also is the of JCB Red Nan 309L who was a Res Div Champion in the first 2 Shorthorn Edge Shows held at Cattlemen’s Congress.
