The Saints Coordinate Program Coeducation at St. Christopher’s and St. Catherine’s Schools While each school prides ourselves on the practices and benefits of single-sex education starting at an early age, we understand that once in Upper School, boys and girls are emotionally, socially and intellectually ready for interactions that prepare them for college and beyond. Unique to the Saints, the Coordinate Program combines the best benefits of single-sex education with elements of a coed experience. It allows for girls and boys to come together for certain academic classes and age-appropriate projects and helps make for well-rounded students.
Fully Coordinated for Your Family Across divisions, our two schools coordinate to enable parents and students to have a fulfilling community experience. You can count on St. Catherine’s to bring out the best in each girl and St. Christopher’s to bring out the best in each boy. Our expert educators will provide your sons and daughters with personal attention and girl-centered or boy-focused teaching and learning – the best of both worlds.

UPPER SCHOOL
Expanding Opportunities Upper School In Grades 9-12, your sons’ and daughters’ academic paths shift to coed learning by taking classes together on either campus. Navigating classes on both campuses gives students real-world practice in managing their time and schedules, building the self-reliance they need for college success. Students also enjoy coed experiences in the performing arts, certain athletic teams, community service activities and travel opportunities.

Saints Explore Saints Explore provides a four-year, coordinated, experiential education program for all Upper School students. Beginning in the fall of their 9th-grade year, students will participate together in four days of outdoor education, service and cultural immersion.
Discovering Their Passions Middle School In Middle School, we gradually increase age-appropriate joint interactions that focus on the arts and service learning. As your sons and daughters approach adolescence, our single-sex classrooms allow them to grow leaps and bounds in intellect and confidence. With guidance from our faculty, they will discover their passions and find their voices.

Building Early Friendships Lower School Our single-sex teaching and learning in the Lower School is the ideal environment for every child’s foundational years. AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
Extended Day JK-8 After-School Option St. Christopher’s provides a robust Extended Day program – available to students in JK through Eighth Grade at St. Christopher’s and St. Catherine’s. Your son or daughter can extend the school day until 6 p.m. five days a week. Extended Day is designed to have the right balance of structure and fun in a safe and loving environment. Supervised study hall time provides continuity to our students’ regular academic day. The goal is to help our young Saints complete most, if not all, of their homework during Extended Day, freeing up the evenings for family time. Boys and girls in Extended Day can take advantage of age-appropriate fun, including playtime, free choice, outdoor games or music.
