Attendance Line Please help us excuse your student’s absence by leaving a voicemail on our attendance line at 970-828-9356. A few tips if your student is absent: We will help round up books on Day 2 if asked. Daily coursework & missing assignments can be checked on our school website. Middle School Families Check our late, missing work, and absence policies HERE.
Homework Club is Back! We are excited to share that Homework Club is back for grades 5 - 8! What is this you may ask? Homework Club is a quiet place for your student to get started on their homework right after school with a teacher present. This is offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:05 - 3:30. It is important to note that this is not tutoring for your child, simply a quiet room to get started on assignments; if they do have a question or two, of course we are there to help. After Homework Club is over students will be dismissed from the building, so please have a predetermined location with your child for pick up. As always, please let us know if you have any questions.
Lunch Plans As we begin the new schooll year, we still have several families that have not selected a hot lunch plan. Please take the time to do that below if you haven’t already.
K-8 26-27 Hot Lunches Preschool 26-27 Hot Lunches Every registered family has the opportunity to apply for free or reduced lunches and we are once again participating in the federal lunch program. The Free & Reduced Application and income guidelines are available at the school office. An application must be turned in asap to receive the benefit.
Boxes for Theater Our Theater Design class needs your help! We are in need of large cardboard boxes as we work on the sets for our December play, “The Phantom Tollbooth”. We need to be able to get at least a 3 foot by 4 foot piece out of the cardboard. And we need LOTS!!!! Cardboard box donations can be put on the stage or left in the office. Thank you!!
Volunteer Thanks Thank you to all of our volunteers who stepped up over the summer and the beginning of the school year to help move classrooms. work the uniform swap, serve lunches, clean up Masses, serve as crossing guards, and drive for our middle school retreats!!! We can’t do it without you!! Please watch for more service hours opportunities and infstructions on tracking your hours in this week’s Tuesday folders.
Crossing Guards Needed With our new drop off and pick up patterns, we are still looking for crossing guards to help get our families where they need to be safely. Please sign up HERE if you are able to help before or after school. We will be holding another quick crossing guard training this Thursday, September 17th at 7:45 in the school office for anyone interested. Please remember to not park in the crosswalks and slow down to keep everyone safe!
