UNIFORM GUIDE

We are delighted

to share

with you the St Christopher’s The Hall school uniform.

Our uniform ensures every pupil feels part of something bigger. It reflects the values and high standards we uphold, while creating a sense of equality, pride, and belonging.

Whether in the classroom, on the sports ﬁeld, or taking part in a performance, our pupils wear their uniform as a symbol of respect, teamwork, and enthusiasm for school life.

This booklet provides clear guidance on what is and isn’t permitted, and we are grateful for parents’ support in helping pupils arrive each day looking smart, conﬁdent, and ready to learn.

In line with the Equality Act 2010, the School will always consider reasonable requests for variations to the uniform code on the grounds of religious belief or disability.

Uniform Shop

The Uniform Shop is located on site in the Stable Block. For any queries, please contact: uniformshop@stchristophersthehall.org.uk

Opening hours are:

Mondays: 3:30pm to 4:30pm

Thursdays: 8:15am to 9:15am

Fridays: 8:15am to 9:15am

Ordering by Email

If you are unable to visit the shop, please email your order, with your child’s full name, class, age and/or size to: uniformshop@stchristophersthehall.org.uk

As soon as your order is ready, you will be alerted and it will be sent to the School Ofﬁce, where you can collect it along with a copy of your invoice for reference.

Summer/Winter Uniform

The Summer uniform should be worn from the start of the academic year until the Autumn Half Term, and again from the beginning of the Summer Term. The Winter uniform should be worn during the second half of the Autumn Term and throughout the Spring Term.

UNIFORM GUIDELINES

Uniform should be clean, tidy, and in good repair, with no holes or damage. This applies both during the school day and while travelling to and from school. All items of clothing must be clearly labelled with your child’s full name.

Jewellery

Pupils with pierced ears may wear one plain gold or silver stud earring in each lobe. These should be removed for all PE or Games lessons and pupils must be able to do this independently.

Hair and Make-Up

Hair longer than shoulder length must be tied back for health and safety reasons. Hair accessories should be in St Christopher’s colours and kept to a moderate size. Exaggerated hairstyles, hair extensions, and dyed hair are not permitted. Hair that may fall into the eyes should be secured with a green hairband.

Footwear

Pupils should wear flat black shoes in plain or patent leather, rather than suede or nubuck. Shoes should be sturdy and provide appropriate support. Ballet-style pumps without ankle straps, boots, and branded training or sports shoes are not permitted. During PE and Games lessons, sports shoes and trainers are allowed.

Outerwear and Bags

All pupils must wear the school coat supplied by the Uniform Shop and have it in school every day in case of inclement weather. All pupils are required to wear a school blazer. EYFS and Pre-Prep children should use a school book bag, while Prep children should use a school backpack, all of which are available from the Uniform Shop.

Boy Fit and Girl Fit

Our two school uniform codes are designated as ‘Boy Fit’ and ‘Girl Fit’. However, any pupil may choose either code at any time and will be fully supported in their choice.
