St Christopher's Compass

Page 1

Welcome

At St Christopher’s The Hall, children’s education is a journey of discovery and growth, and a compass perfectly symbolises that journey. Our newly rebranded vibrant extracurricular and after-school provision, St Christopher’s Compass, is designed to guide and support pupils as they develop their own personal compass.

Through a mix of clubs, activities, and enrichment opportunities, pupils are encouraged to explore their interests, discover new passions, and gain the confidence to navigate their own unique paths.

After all, a compass doesn’t define a destination that’s unique to each child, but it helps point them in the right direction. Helping children find their own path to excellence is, after all, what we’re all about.

A compass points us in the right direction, helping us navigate, explore and discover new paths.

At St Christopher’s, we use this idea to guide our pupils’ wider learning through the St Christopher’s Compass, with all of our clubs now linked to its four purposeful directions:

North – Think

Academic enrichment, curiosity, innovation and problem-solving.

East – Create

Expression through art, performance, music and design.

South – Move

Sport, physical activity, resilience and teamwork.

West – Care

Wellbeing, empathy, leadership and community action.

Children will now earn a St Christopher’s Compass Badge connected to the direction of the club they attend which they can display on their blazer.

Our hope is that pupils will be inspired to try a variety of activities across the year, collecting badges from all four directions as they explore new interests, embrace fresh challenges and grow as thinkers, creators, movers and caring members of our community.
