Brand new 45 minute swim sessions designed for those who want to continue their swimming journeys beyond their ‘learn to swim’ lessons but who are not yet ready for full competitive training, or prefer not to have such a competitive element.
Session content will be, though not limited to: increasing proficiency in stroke technique, turns, transition and racing entries as well as building speed and stamina across a range of distances. Swimmers will also have opportunities to achieve the Swim England Competitive Start & Challenge Awards.
We are also want to include swimmers’ own ideas and aims to make sessions bespoke to their personal goals.
If not already known to us, swimmers will be invited for a pre-assessment to check they are at the required swimming level for these sessions . ** Session cost from Spring 2025 will be £15 per session: still payable as a term block in advance of each term
