Career of the Week

Youth Voice Census is a space for young people, aged 11 to 30, across the UK to share their experiences. It is an annual temperature check on how young people in the UK feel about life, study, work and general prospects. The deadline for completion is 6th June. Do you enjoy science, maths or IT? Maybe you prefer working in teams with your classmates on different creative projects? Whatever your interests are, this Career Shapers event will help you to learn how you could use your unique skills to build an exciting career. You’ll also learn more about the kind of work that Deloitte does, attend skills workshops, meet volunteers and immerse yourself in their friendly, diverse community. This event takes place 27th May – 28th May 2025 (during May break). Registration will close when applications are full, so apply ASAP! Scott Brownrigg is a collaborative international design practice specialising in architecture, masterplanning, urbanism and interior design. During May break, they are running a four day virtual work experience. You can read more and apply here. The deadline is 9th May. To find other online work experiences taking place during the May break, you can use Springpod or INVESTIN (these are paid programmes). They can help you work out if you enjoy industries that interest you AND look great on future applications. Speaking of applications, UCAS Search 2026 is open!
