Career of the Week Film Director Directors are integral to the success of any film project, playing a central role in shaping the creative vision and narrative and bringing together all artistic elements to form a cohesive final product. During production, a typical day is between 10 and 12 hours. However, as a director you will usually spend extra time in meetings discussing aspects of the production.
