Year 13 students, you may be wondering what happens once you submit your UCAS application. It is important to note that universities have until 13th May 2026 to respond to you. Here is a UCAS guide on “What happens after you submit your application?” and what types of offer you may receive. What’s it like to work at your dream company? HIGHERiN provides lots of reviews for placements, internships, graduate jobs and apprenticeships, all written by university students and school leavers. The InvestIN Career Quiz is designed to help students aged 15-18 discover an industry that aligns with their aspirations. Through a series of questions, we'll assess your skills and interests, and analyse how these align with different career sectors. Wed 14th Jan | 18:15 - 19:00. Apprenticeship Hub Live: Interview Preparation and Developing Resilience. Thinking about an apprenticeship—whether you’re applying right now or planning ahead? This session gives you the tools to step forward with confidence and show employers exactly why you’re ready for the challenge Here at RSM UK, we have work shadowing opportunities within Audit, Tax and Consulting for Year 12 and 13s. This three-day in-person work shadowing programme will enable you to immerse yourself into one of our service lines. There are currently two challenger opportunities available; Carbon Capture - Eco Garden project. and TinkerCAD Moon Base Project. They’re aimed at ages 11-16 and take approximately 3 hours. Career of the Week Careers Advisor As a careers advisor you will help people make decisions about their education, training and work options. You can work in a variety of fields and may specialise within a number of areas. It's likely you'll work in a generalist role, helping people from many backgrounds and giving impartial advice regarding routes into multiple different careers and industries.

Labour Market Fact In 2024, 87.6% of working age (16-64 years old) graduates were in employment compared to 68.0% of non-graduates. 67.9% of working age (16-64 years old) graduates were in highskilled employment compared to 23.7% of non-graduates. Source
