Opportunities Earth Day takes place on 22nd April each year. The theme for Earth Day 2025 is OUR POWER, OUR PLANET, inviting everyone around the globe to unite behind renewable energy, and to triple the global generation of clean electricity by 2030. How? By joining us in Earth Action Day, encouraging all to take action - educate, advocate, and mobilise. Test your knowledge on important topics such as Plastic Pollution, Activism and Sustainable Fashion by using these online quizzes. Do you know you want to do a job that helps the planet, but you’re not sure what? Take the BBC Bitesize quiz to find out more about green careers and which one might suit you. Here are videos from four different people working in green careers. Learn more about what they do, how their work helps the planet and hear their answers to questions from other students. Want to know what it’s like to do a Degree Apprenticeship in technology? Ethan from Not Going to Uni sat down with Lache from BAE Systems to chat about career opportunities, skills, and what to expect. Watch the recording here.
