Railway Signaller
A train signaller is a safety-critical role responsible for controlling the movement of trains by operating signals, points, and level crossings from a signal box or control centre They ensure safe spacing between trains, manage routing, and handle emergencies. The role requires calm decision-making, high concentration, and shift work.
The most popular areas for Degree
Apprenticeship industries are health (27.5%), construction (22.3%) and digital technology (16 9%) Regional takeyup of degree apprenticeships varies, with London (19.1%) and the North West (15.1) topping the table, while the North East (3.0%) seeing lowest take-up. Source

UCAS are running a series of Instagram lives between now and the end of August, covering key topics such as tackling exam stress and preparing for results day. Major public universities like University of Buenos Aires often charge little or no tuition even for international students. Private universities cost more but are still usually cheaper than UK or US universities. While some postgraduate programs are available in English, the majority of undergraduate degrees are in Spanish. For daily life and academics, strong Spanish skills are almost essential.
To obtain a Visa, UK students usually need: a university acceptance letter, proof of finances, criminal record checks, translated academic documents. Processes can move slowly, so it’s important to apply early through Argentina’s immigration authority and check guidance from UK government travel advice for Argentina. The academic calendar usually starts around March, not September like in the UK.
