The Students’ Guide to University 2026 will allow you to make an informed choice about university. It includes articles to help you decide whether university is right for you, what you should study, and where you should study it. Contributions have been provided by over 80 university representatives from across the UK.

The British Science Week poster competition takes place every year and invites young people from across the UK to take part. In 2026, the competition theme is taking curiosity to the next level! We’re working with a team of scientists and researchers who are curious about what children and young people think will make a ‘good’/’positive’ childhood in the future. The competition is now open for entries; the closing date is 6 pm on Thursday 16 April 2026.

Have you ever wondered how space technology can help us here on earth? Or how space can affect astronauts’ bodies? In this lesson, you will discover how cutting-edge innovations are shaping the future of technology and find out about some of the diverse technology careers they could pursue in the space health industry In collaboration with RAF Charitable Trust

As a student, you'll have the opportunity to learn one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. Most courses are taught in Portuguese, so knowledge of the language is essential

Portugal is a member of the Bologna Process, with its higher education system consisting of both public and private institutions, which are divided into Universities and Polytechnics.

Public institutions are made up of 14 universities and 20 polytechnics, while the private higher education network comprises 36 universities and 64 polytechnics
