A Word From the A Word From the President President
Hey Chadsians,
It's been a surreal couple of weeks. Thank you so much for trusting me with running the MCR. I'm still settling into the role, having lots of meetings with people in college and beyond to learn the ropes. We had our first exec meeting this Monday, I wore Danny Devito's Scream mask, it was great, wish you'd all seen it. More importantly though, we're cooking up some exciting stuff coming up as we ramp up to the autumn and winter holidays... Keep your eyes peeled! Our first research forum was a success, and I want to thank Alice and Joseph for their clear and insightful presentations. Can't wait for the next one.
"What a fantastic start to our term and first event with our new MCR exec team! Our first Research Forum of the term covered the topics of Media Priming and Neutrinos.
Thank you to Alice and Joseph for their informative presentations. We hope that you enjoyed dinner on high table and conversations with some of St Chad's SCR followed by our traditional post formal Port and Cheese in the MCR.
Do not fret, MCR members! You have an opportunity to take part in our next Research Forum on November 21st at 6:15pm! Get the chance to join SCR members for a drink before and after formal and join them on high table for dinner and join the rest of the MCR for Port and Cheese too.
Please reach out to me with a topic of your research, a 100-word abstract, and a short academic biography.
As always, if you have any academic questions, comments, or event suggestions, please feel free to reach out!"
