THEOLOGY Have you asked, “Who are we and why are we here?” Are you looking to find meaning and purpose? Do you wonder what it means to seek justice? Theology confronts our most searching questions. Questions still relevant today. The theology program at St. Catherine University will teach you to read and think critically while exploring your own spirituality. By examining other faiths, you’ll better understand how religion shapes us as individuals and societies, along with recognizing its influence in global strife, national agendas, and community harmony. You’ll build a firm foundation that blends a wide range of skills, making you a strong, well-rounded candidate for graduate school or a variety of careers.

YOU WILL LEARN TO: • Deepen your engagement with your own path through studying the ways people experience mystery • Better navigate our increasingly complex world • Develop strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills through readings and discussions on theological ideas going back centuries, then reflect on their application to modern life • Engage with many fields, including healthcare, science, psychology, anthropology, economics, politics, literature, art and history • Discover how you fit in an increasingly interdependent, worldwide community
