ART Do you like expressing yourself creatively? Are you drawn to stories and storytelling? Are you interested in exploring how creative works impact the world around us? The art program at St. Catherine University is guided by inquiry, imagination, and action, with equity at the center. You will study contemporary issues in art and art production alongside career development and professional practice. You will explore your aspirations by critically examining your own creative and scholarly work and developing concrete skills applicable to a variety of professions. Choose classes from five concentration areas including graphic design, photography, painting and drawing, ceramics, and art history. You will work with our faculty of professional/practicing artists and meet local and national arts professionals, hone your writing and critical thinking skills, and better understand the role of art and artists in addressing the challenges of our time.
