MARKETING AND DIGITAL STRATEGY Do you want to learn about innovative ways to reach people in a digital world? Are you interested in understanding the needs of consumers and why they choose certain products or brands? Do you see yourself being creative in a business environment? Marketing and Digital Strategy is a fast-paced, ever-changing, and rapidly growing field that is incredibly versatile. You can work in just about any industry you want to help companies and organizations reach their audiences and influence their decisions. The Marketing and Digital Strategy program will give you a strong foundation of traditional marketing skills with the in-demand knowledge about how to apply them in today’s digital world. Topics include website strategy, search engine optimization, and social media strategy.

YOU WILL LEARN TO: • U nderstand the key ideas that influence consumer buying decisions and behavior • K now the channels of digital marketing and how they are used to reach target audiences • U se market research, testing, and data to develop a marketing strategy • W rite a marketing plan and understand the role it plays in achieving business goals • A nalyze and measure the success of digital and social media marketing campaigns • A ssess trends and challenges in marketing, including ethics and sustainability

CAREER PATHS TO EXPLORE DIGITAL MARKETING OR SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING SPECIALIST Plan and execute digital and social marketing campaigns that help promote products and services, and build relationships with audiences. EVENT MARKETING Plan, organize, and execute events that help promote a brand, product, or service. PRODUCT MARKETING Help bring a new product to market and align it with customer needs to drive sales. MARKET RESEARCH ANALYST Gather and analyze data on consumers and competitors to help inform marketing strategy for brands, products, or services. SALES REPRESENTATIVE Understand customer wants and needs and convey how your product or service can add value to their business. PUBLIC RELATIONS Support public relations such as writing press releases, managing media, and coordinating events. MARKETING ASSOCIATE Partner with sales and marketing teams to support marketing initiatives. Help with planning and tracking marketing campaigns.
