The S-ERGO series of Lightweight wheelchairs feature Karma’s unique S-Ergo shaped seating system.

The ergonomic ‘S’ shaped seat helps spread the load and prevents the user slipping down in the chair. The seat and backrest are made from a mesh upholstery that is great for keeping cool on summer days. The S-Ergo seat has been pressure-mapped for optimum shape. In addition the seating system benefits from the unique anti-bacterial technology built into the upholstery that provides protection against odour, staining and deterioration caused by bacteria, fungus and other microorganisms.

OTTOBOCK START M2 SERIES

The Otto Bock Start M2S is the entry-level model of the Start series. The chair is equipped with split, pivotedaway footrests. In addition, the side panels are equipped with height-adjustable armrests, so you are always comfortably supported.

The Otto Bock Start can be adapted effortlessly to individual body size and needs, allowing the user to be optimally positioned and supported at all times. The back height is 42.5 inches set fixed. 20 variants of the model are ready for delivery, the selection is made with a simplified order form. You just have to indicate the appropriate seat width and choose a variant. The integrated tip assists the tilting of the wheelchair, making it easier to negotiate stairs.

The Power Assist attaches directly on to most manual wheelchairs. It features an easy-to-use squeeze trigger mechanism, along with a speed dial, enabling users to customise speed settings.

The Power Assist is designed to work in conjunction with most wheelchairs with seat widths of 16” – 20”. (wheelchair and user combined).

• The Power Assist has a maximum speed of up to 5km/h (3.1 mph).

Improvements include greater seat depth adjustment (41 cm to 46 cm), a tension adjustable backrest which is extendable from 41 cm to 46 cm, and a more robust, rigid castor attachment (0, 3 and 6 degrees).
