College cases top 140 By Alesha Capone More than 140 coronavirus cases have been linked to an outbreak at Al-Taqwa College in Truganina, making it one of the largest outbreaks in Victoria. he Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) irst reported cases of the virus at Al-Taqwa of June 29. On Tuesday there were 147 cases linked to the college. It comes as a resident of Glendale Aged Care in Werribee – great-grandfather Alf Jordan, 90 – died in hospital on Friday from coronavirus. As of Monday, there were 13 cases linked to the aged care facility. Wyndham had 209 active cases as the number of cases across the state reached 4224. here were 85 Victorians in hospital, including 26 patients in intensive care. More than 2000 Al-Taqwa students and 300 school employees have been tested for the virus, according to DHHS. Students, staf and close contacts are among those who have returned positive results. Victoria’s chief health oicer Brett Sutton said it is believed there was a link between the Al-Taqwa outbreak and the outbreaks at public housing towers in North Melbourne and Flemington. “hese are communities that cross over between Truganina and these towers,” he said. On Monday, Channel Seven reported that Al-Taqwa would remain closed for an extra week, despite term three resuming for VCE and VCAL students across the rest of the state. It reported that a letter, sent from college principal Omar Hallak to parents said: “Students, staf or visitors will NOT be permitted to come to the College until further notice.” In a statement released last week, Mr Hallak said: “We have been vigilant since the outbreak of COVID-19 and put in place safety measures to keep all staf, students and the wider community safe.” Mr Hallak said that the school had implemented daily temperature checks for all staf, students and school visitors. “Any staf or student that presented with even the mildest cold and lu symptoms were sent back home as a safety precaution,” he said.

“Good hygiene posters were placed all around the school as were hand sanitisers to ensure everyone was practising good hygiene and told to social distance. We have taken additional measures since the outbreak,

including spending over $100,000 on additional cleaning and hygiene measures, involving an organisation approved by DHHS.” On Monday Premier Daniel Andrews said students from years prep to 10 would resume

remote schooling until at least August 19. “It’s not easy. but we can’t have 700,000 kids, plus mums and dads and carers, moving around the state, every morning, every night, all that will do is drive up numbers,” he said.

Lockdown spells end of 2020 VFL season he last trace of senior football in the west is now gone for 2020, with the Victorian Football League cancelling its season last week. While the local leagues across the region had already pulled the pin on senior football this year, Werribee and Williamstown were inalising preparations for a seven-team VFL season beginning in August. But the latest lockdown measures for metropolitan Melbourne meant a season became impossible, with the league oicially cancelling the season on July 8.

Werribee president Martin Carter said while it was disappointing for players and fans not to have any games this year, the club understood the decision. “It is understandable in many ways but still a very hard pill to swallow for the board, our staf, the coaches and players, our members, sponsors and supporters,” Mr Carter said. “Our football club is a vital part of the community, providing a hub for sport and recreation, employment, volunteering, social interaction and community spirit.

“he impact of no Werribee Football Club games will have social and economic efects. We will need the support of everyone to ensure we are right to go for the 2021 season.” Williamstown chief executive Jason Reddick said he was proud his club did all it could to get a season happening this year, and would now turn its focus towards 2021. “In the greater scheme of what our communities are facing at present, this is the correct decision,” Mr Reddick said. “It has been made in the best interests of all concerned

in our club, our industry and our community. “As a club we can be proud of our eforts in leaving no stone unturned in aiming to produce a 2020 VFL competition of integrity. “Our club focus now moves to working with our fellow state league clubs and the AFL on the future structure of the state league competitions, and preparations for our VFL and VFLW teams to be stronger than ever in 2021.” Ewen McRae

Wyndham council has allocated $2 million in grants to help hundreds of local businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. he council announced a $5 million economic support package back in March when the pandemic lockdown irst began, including a $1.5 million WynLocal Business Recovery and Growth Program ofering grants of $5000, $10,000 and $20,000 for businesses. he program funding was boosted to $2 million ater 458 traders and groups applied for grants. he council last week announced 285 businesses had been successful. Cr Mia Shaw said the news “could not have come at a better time” for businesses, as metropolitan Melbourne returned to a six-week, stage-three lockdown. It comes as state Treasurer Tim Pallas announced a $534 million business support package for Victoria. Developed in consultation with the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and the Australian Hotels Association, the package will include cash grants for struggling businesses, mental health support for business owners, relief for tourism operators and targeted advice for businesses to stay aloat. he council has awarded 19 grants of $20,000 to businesses located across Werribee, Werribee South, Hoppers Crossing and Point Cook. he Garden Feast Café in Werribee, which is also a nursery and functions venue, will receive a $10,000 grant. Cafe owner Maree Planner said the business, which is mainly a dine-in venue, had lost 95 per cent of its income since lockdown restrictions were introduced in March. Ms Planner is planning to use the grant to kick-start a diferent revenue stream, by attracting local couples looking for a wedding venue. She said she would use the grant money to promote the venue in bridal websites, magazines and expos.

FOGO bins may be the future By Alesha Capone Wyndham council may introduce a weekly kerbside collection of food and garden organics from households, as part of its future waste services. Cr Peter Maynard announced the news at a meeting last week, when councillors voted to award a new kerbside waste collection services contract to Cleanaway Pty Ltd. he service, which will commence on December 5, is for the municipality’s garbage, recycling and garden organics waste collection

services. Cr Maynard said that under the new contract, a potential future service involving the weekly collection of Food Organics and Garden Organics [FOGO] – might be introduced in Wyndham. Cr Maynard said that a fortnightly residual waste collection, the provision of a kitchen caddy and an annual supply of compostable caddy liners might also be introduced. he new contract will continue the council’s base waste services, with a weekly rubbish bin collection, fortnightly recyclables collection and optional fortnightly garden organics

collection. Cr Maynard said that under the new contract, household bins would also be itted with radio frequency identiication tags (RFIDs). Cr Maynard said this meant Cleanaway would be paid for the number of bins emptied, rather than the total number of bins in service. As well, Cr Maynard said that in the future, he would like Wyndham residents to beneit from the operations of the Werribee tip, either inancially or in services provided. Cr Mia Shaw echoed these sentiments, and said the council should look at ways that

residents could use the tip “in a cheaper way”. Cr Heather Marcus said that under the council’s new contract, househoulds could choose to have a green waste bin for $80 per year. Cr Marcus said that the council was also working hard to clean up illegal rubbish dumped in areas such as Dohertys Road, Boundary Road, Bulban Road and Werribee South. Cr Marcus encouraged residents who witness illegal rubbish dumping to report it to the council by calling 9742 0777.

Artist’s second prize Manor Lakes teenager John Mathet has won the People’s Choice Award at the Wyndham Art Prize for the second year in a row. Wyndham council last week announced Mr Mathet’s digital painting, titled I.D.E.N.T.I.T.Y. received the highest number of votes from visitors to the competition’s exhibition, which was held earlier this year. More than 700 votes were cast for the People’s Choice Award. Wyndham’s arts and culture portfolio holder, Cr Tony Hooper, said another digital painting by Mr Mathet, titled Top of the World, won last year’s People’s Choice Award. Cr Hooper said Mr Mathet would receive a prize of $2500, for the second year in a row, ater his latest win. Mr Mathet, who is originally from South Sudan, moved from Perth to Wyndham four years ago. Mr Mathet said he felt honoured to win the

People’s Choice Award two years in a row. “hat people have stood by me two years in a row is amazing, I feel blessed,” he said. Mr Mathet said that he had wanted to become an artist from the age of seven years old. Nowadays, in addition to creating his own artworks, he teaches other young people at the Wyndham Community Education Centre. Mr Mathet said that as an artist, he works in both digital and conventional mediums. “My strengths in art include portrait drawings, where I have grown to love the beauty of creating faces and paying attention to each small detail as I have grown to be passionate and patient with my work,” he said. “I plan to share messages and stories through my work to educate and inspire society.” John Mathet and, inset, his winning painting. The Victoria Police Air Wing pursued an allegedly stolen car, which reached speeds of up to 170kh/h on the Princes Freeway, on Thursday morning. Teen robbed A teenager was assaulted and robbed at knife-point in the toilets of Wyndham Vale train station about 4pm on July 3. Tower mural in colour A mural being painted on the historic Werribee water tower is now in colour. Not-for-proit community organisation Arts Assist is leading the project, which is being completed by Melbourne-based artist Hayden Dewar. he mural, which was funded under the state government’s Community Support Fund, depicts the water tower’s historical signiicance to Wyndham, along with lora and fauna signiicant to the local area. Southern Rural Water is a partner in the project, which aims to turn the disused 18.5 metre-high concrete water tower into a community artwork and tourist attraction.

he water tower, which was built more than 100 years ago, was drained and cleaned before Dewar began working on the mural, on May 18. Ater drawing the outlines of the mural, he has now started applying colour to the artwork. House ire Fireighters and police were called to a blaze on Heaths Road, Werribee just before 9.30am last Tuesday. The ire, at a single storey brick house, was declared under control in less than 10 minutes. Two occupants of the house, who escaped from the ire, were assessed for smoke inhalation by Ambulance Victoria paramedics.

Search for stolen car By Alesha Capone he owner of a collectable car stolen from outside a Hoppers Crossing house is appealing for anyone with information about the thet to come forward. Kevin, a professional panelbeater and painter, said he purchased the 1973 Ford XA Coupe about ive years ago and was planning to restore the vehicle. However, last month he was informed the Ford had been stolen from outside a house on Tarneit Road, where he had been storing it. Kevin said he was not sure of the exact date the thet occurred but believed it may have been early last month.

“It’s destroyed me – I had been dreaming of owning the car since I was a kid and had saved up to buy it,” he said. “I know I’ll never get another one again, it would cost around $40,000 to $50,000 to buy that car now.” Kevin said the owner of the property from where the car was stolen believed the Ford was taken between the hours of 3am and 9am. However, the security cameras at theproperty were not switched on when the car was stolen. Kevin said he had since viewed CCTV footage from a business located across the road from the Tarneit Road property and had seen nothing suspicious. He said whoever had stolen the car would have made a lot of noise.

“You cannot move that car without making a noise and at least four or ive people,” he said. “You couldn’t move the vehicle quietly – the steering was disconnected, it had two lat wheels and all the car parts were inside, you couldn’t put it on a tandem truck within an

Tip clay contract more than $1m Wyndham council will spend $1.485 million on 100,000 tonnes of clay for the construction of a new cell at Werribee tip. he council last week voted in favour of awarding a contract for the clay’s supply to ESG Bangholme Pty Ltd, conditional on the source of the clay passing inal testing. he clay will be used in the construction of cell six at the Wyndham Refuse Disposal Facility, on Wests Road. A council report stated an additional 10,000 tonnes of clay, valued at $148,500, might also be required for the construction of cell six. ESG Bangholme quarry has previously supplied material to construct cell ive at the Werribee tip. he council report stated material from the quarry “is highly likely to meet the required technical and environmental properties”. “he suitability of the material will be conirmed by laboratory analysis to be performed by council,” it stated. “he contract will be awarded subject to conirmation that material meets the required speciication.” he council received three quotations for the supply of clay between March 31 and April 16 this year. he ESG Bangholme quote was the only one which conformed to the council’s requirements. Jobs boost for Werribee By Alesha Capone A town centre to be built in Werribee’s Harpley estate is expected to create more than 380 job opportunities once it is constructed. Lendlease last week announced it has appointed Eildon Funds Management to oversee design and delivery of the three-hectare town centre. As part of the Black Forest Road South Precinct Structure Plan, the Harpley Town Centre is expected to deliver 8000 square metres of retail and 2000 square metres of non-retail commercial space. he town centre will include a range of amenities, major supermarkets, a state government primary school and specialist services. Spanning a number of precincts, it will comprise four sites, to be developed in three stages. he irst stage is planned to see the arrival of services, including a service station, and is expected to be completed by the end of next year. Subsequent stages have been designed to feature a range of amenities such as a major supermarket and specialty shops, followed by waterside cafes, a dining precinct and a community activity centre. In addition, dedicated areas of the town centre are proposed to include a health and wellbeing precinct and an employment hub. Lendlease’s Victorian head of development, residential and urban regeneration, Tom Trevaskis, said: “he future town centre is set to become a destination not just for Harpley residents, but the wider Werribee community.” Once complete, the 435-hectare Harpley estate is expected to be home to around 12,000 residents.

he Harpley community will also include 100 hectares of open space. Lendlease has submitted a proposal to Wyndham council requesting permission to create a lake with a

four-lane rowing course at the estate. he opening date of the primary school at Harpley – the Lollypop Creek Primary School – is yet to be announced by the state government.

Capital spend wraps up Wyndham council has spent more than $106.3 million on capital works, such as roads and open spaces, within the past 12 months. Mayor Josh Gilligan said the council’s 2019-20 capital works program had oicially wrapped up. “Even while we have all been in lockdown due to COVID-19 restrictions, Wyndham City has been on the move delivering these vital infrastructure projects that will make a positive diference to Wyndham’s future,” Cr Gilligan said. “hese include completing the $13 million redevelopment of Wyndham Park, which has transformed the park into a recreation and events space of regional signiicance. “Another major Wyndham City project was the mammoth $11 million redevelopment of Mossiel Reserve, which features new sports ields for cricket and rugby, six netball courts, two community pavilions, a half-court basketball court and a playground.” Cr Gilligan said the council had also upgraded 50 neighbourhood parks. Bus campaign rolls on She said new bus routes would continue this work by reducing congestion, freeing up parking spaces and providing an accessible commute from Tarneit and Truganina. “With community support and by working with the Minister for Public Transport - we can deliver accessible local transport services for residents where it’s needed,” Ms Connolly said. He described the council’s existing plan to defer rates for some businesses for six months because of the pandemic as “not good enough” and said Wyndham was home to many

migrants and young families who had already lost jobs or businesses in the current crisis. Several Wyndham councillors criticised the move, one comparing the idea to a Monty Python skit. Cr Henry Barlow, who was irst elected to the council in 1997, said: “his would have to be the worst notice of motion I’ve ever heard in my life”. “It looks as if it comes out of a Monty Python sketch.” Cr Barlow said that cutting rates by 10 per cent would give the majority of residents an

extra $2.80 to $4 per week. He said he sent Cr Khan an email on March 31, urging Cr Khan to be transparent about where the cuts would be “otherwise this just looks like blatant electioneering with a council election coming up”. Cr Kim McAliney said Cr Khan had not provided any inancial modelling to support a 10 per cent rate reduction, which would result in “severe cuts” to the council’s capital programs and staf. Cr Peter Maynard said a 10 per cent cut in rates would result in the loss of about $21

million from the council’s annual budget. “his is an ill-conceived and unwarranted notice of motion, that has no sustainability for this council whatsoever,” he said. “I think it’s nothing but a vote-grab.” Cr Tony Hooper described the notice of motion as “grandstanding at best and outright manipulation at worst”. Cr John Gibbons said: “It’s a crazy motion and I oppose it”. Cr Khan was the only councillor to vote in favour of the motion, although Cr Walter Villagonzalo abstained from the inal vote.

Heritage sites in danger By Alesha Capone A study which has identiied 141 places of potential historical signiicance in Wyndham, has warned that some sites are in danger of being demolished or developed due to a lack of heritage protection. Wyndham council endorsed the Heritage Review Drat Gap Study Stage 1, which is now available for community feedback, last week. he study lists a range of locations in Wyndham – including 59 residential places, 27 archaeological sites, 14 infrastructure and transport-related sites and 18 trees – for further research, in the next stage of the heritage review. he report also recommended six precincts for further investigation: Campbells Cove and Baileys Beach in Werribee South; the Rothwell Residential Precinct in Little River and four residential areas of Werribee. he report said these precincts “are not well represented” in existing heritage overlays. he document warned “the integrity of precincts can be easily lost through demolition/ inappropriate development”. It states that some citations for existing heritage overlays in Wyndham “contain insuicient information, putting places at risk of demolition or inappropriate development”. Places identiied in the study for further historical research include an 1890-1900s paddle steamer berth in Cocoroc; the Tarneit RAAF Bombing Range on Springhill Road; Baden Powell House on Market Road, Werribee; and the Werribee South General Store. Several sites in Little River are included as well, such as the former blacksmiths shop in River Street, which was built circa 1884. he St Peter the Apostle Catholic Memorial

Church in Hoppers Crossing, which was built in 1972 and dedicated to the fallen of World War II, also features on the list. Wyndham’s arts, culture and heritage portfolio holder, Cr Tony Hooper, the council had no plans to propose heritage controls or protection on any of the sites, at this early stage.

“Council oicers will be speaking to property owners to discuss the potential heritage value of any properties outlined in this study and to get their feedback on the Drat Gap Study,” he said. he heritage study did not examine places of indigenous heritage in Wyndham, and

Lure of the road recalled By Goya Dmytryshchak he roar of the motorcycle engine, lure of the road and smell of leather was strong in Melbourne’s west in the ‘60s and ‘70s. Now, the history of a western suburbs’ bikie club, the Angels, has been documented in a new book. Angels is an autobiographical account of life in the motorcycle club in the 1960s and ’70s, co-written by Altona couple, former member David King and historian Maureen Lane. Mr King was just 10 years old when he met one of the original members, Johnny Wilde, now living in Melton. Ms Lane said she felt it was important to preserve the history of the club, which at its peak boasted 305 members. “All the boys are getting old now and we didn’t want the Angels to be forgotten,” she said. “So, as a historian, I felt it was my duty to record it in some way. “We never meant for it to become available to the public – it was just going to be a book for the ex members of the bikie club.” But the book’s popularity grew through word of mouth, leading to more reprints. he Angels started hanging together about 1954, when Altona’s Cherry Lake was a race track and “Marlon Brando ‘wanna-bes’ locked there in droves”. Later, Calder Park Raceway would be established in the Diggers Rest farming community, beginning as “a dirt track carved into a paddock by a group of like-minded, motoring enthusiasts wanting to create a place to race their FJ Holdens,” the book states. he Angels and the Vikings were two of Melbourne’s major clubs. Angels would meet at Williamstown beach or at Mama’s deli in Footscray or in one of the paddocks in Laverton where they would “party with the local ladies”.

Mr King, who counted AC/DC’s Malcolm Young among his drinking mates, said he “loved everything” about riding with the Angels. “Just the freedom of riding and just having a good time with your mates,” he said. Members would attend the Sunbury Rock Festival held on a private farm between Sunbury and Diggers Rest on the Australia Day long weekend from 1972 to 1975. “Sunbury was an orgy of sex, drugs and rock and roll with near naked men and women

‘letting it all hang out’,” the book states, as it details members’ antics. Mr Wilde recalls in the book that alcohol was banned so a ‘modiied’ keg of water was brought in by the club. “We had our own marquee at Sunbury – a tent set up for the Angels and for freeloading coppers.” As the teenagers grew into family men, they would hold their own festivals at Mr Wilde’s Mount Doran farm near Ballarat, raising money for sick children.

“he biggest thing, I reckon, is your mateship,” Mr Wilde said. “Because you’ll be riding with a group of blokes that you trust with your life. “Always mates. Never ever was there an argument between anyone in the club, which is a bit rare. “No one had any bad words for anybody … like a big family.” Mr King would go on to join the army and become a chaufeur for Victoria’s Governor Davis McCaughey, including during the presidential visit of George Bush Snr. A blooming scene of beauty The beautiful roses at the Victoria State Rose Garden will continue to bloom into the future. The Werribee South garden, which is home to more than 5000 roses, has been shut to the public as Victoria enters its second stage-three COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. A few days before the gates to the garden closed last week, Star Weekly photographer Damjan Janevski captured these images. The irst stage of the rose garden was oficially opened during November 1986. Nowadays, the garden is managed by Parks Victoria and the Victoria State Rose Garden Supporters Inc, a group of volunteers who are responsible for tasks such as pruning, dead-heading, planting, weeding and mulching. In 2003, the World Federation Of Rose Societies granted the Victoria State Rose Garden a â€˜Garden of Excellenceâ€™ status. In non-pandemic times, entry to the rose garden is usually free for members of the public, although a gold coin donation is appreciated. More time to register pools Wyndham residents have been given until November 1 this year to register their pools and spas with the council. he registration deadline has been extended from June 1, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. An amendment to state government building regulations last year means pool and spa owners must register them with their local councils. Owners must also provide certiicates conirming their pools are compliant with safety regulations.

Wyndham mayor Josh Gilligan said the council believed there were about 4000 swimming pools in Wyndham, but only 800 residents have registered their pools so far. “Many residents have had their pool barriers checked by a professional and received a

certiicate of compliance and believe they have completed the process, but it is now a state government law to also register residential pools and spas with council,” Cr Gilligan said. “Once you register your pool with council, your name will be added to the database so council can inspect your pool once every four years, as part of these new regulations. “If you have a new pool, your council inspection may be three years away but if they are older, it could be in the coming year.” Cr Gilligan said the state government had

Second art exhibition Wyndham council will host its second virtual exhibition, with an installation focused on Tasmanian Aboriginal children taken by colonists. Titled True Lies (and alibis), the exhibition will feature the work of Tasmanian Trawlwoolway artist Julie Gough. he exhibition will be installed at the Wyndham Art Gallery in Werribee, then photographed and digitally rendered for residents to view online. Wyndham’s arts and heritage portfolio holder, Cr Tony Hooper, said Gough’s work focused on the lives of Tasmanian Aboriginal children taken by colonists in the early 1800s – including the artist’s ancestor, Dalrymple Briggs, who lived with a colonial surgeon and his wife, as a child. “he exhibition delves into the lives of Dalrymple and other Aboriginal people through video, a series of 181 posters originally presented in the forest of the Queens Domain, Hobart, and an evidence wall which demonstrates the interactions between the colonial settlers and Aboriginal people,” Cr Hooper said. he free virtual exhibition will run until August 30. Gough has exhibited True Lies (and alibis) widely across Australia and internationally. Point Cook fashion designer Prerna Khanna says she enjoys helping people look their best, no matter what they’re size or shape. Ms Khanna, whose fashion label is named Orne, also has a store at the Sanctuary Lakes Shopping Centre under the same name. “I love dressing up ladies and kids,” she said. “As a designer, the most rewarding thing is to see happiness on a customer’s face when I style them up, and that boosts their conidence to embrace their body shape, in most fashionable unique designer clothing.” Ms Khanna studied at the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology in her native India, then worked for labels including French Connection, Zara, Next, Debenhams, Target and Kmart. Upon migrating to Australia, she obtained a masters in fashion and retail at the University of Wollongong. Her store has been named as a inalist in the 2019 Wyndham Business Awards, and her clothes have featured in several Melbourne fashion festivals. Ms Khanna said the COVID-19 pandemic had impacted upon her business, with people unable to attend events such as weddings, school formals, award nights and parties. Truck trafic concern over quarry planning project Wyndham council has expressed concerns about a pilot project to trial newly developed planning controls for quarry operations. he state government has selected Wyndham and the Shire of South Gippsland for inclusion in the Strategic Extractive Resource Areas (SERA) pilot project, which will trial new planning scheme controls for existing quarry operations and on land where new quarrying operations could potentially be established. Ater being trialled in Wyndham and South Gippsland, the state government will consider rolling the new controls out across the rest of the state. Star Weekly reported on the trial last month,

with Cr Mia Shaw expressing concern that the pilot could result in more quarry trucks on Wyndham’s roads. Public consultation on the SERA pilot will be open until July 24. At a council meeting last week, the council considered a submission it will make to the consultation process. he council report into the matter said: “In general, the submission response supports the pilot project.” However, the submission echoed Cr Shaw’s concern that the pilot project could “increase the amount of truck movements along Wyndham’s road network, particularly in the

Celebrating a milestone and a legacy Facing challenges is par for the course in establishing and maintaining any business, but one of the most testing is when personal tragedy strikes the family leading the business.Mary Traianon, who co-founded D&M Traianon in 1980, knows, sadly, all about this, writes Carole Levy.

In 1999, the business was jolted by the passing of Don, her adored husband and deeply afectionate, supportive father of their three children, the youngest 17 at the time. From the beginning, Don and Mary were an inseparable team, harnessing their individual skills, with three young kids in tow, to navigate their way through the hard slog of making their name in the ups-and-downs of the business world. But, as Don and Mary’s youngest daughter Diane explains, the family name was already well known and respected in their Wyndham community long before D&M Traianon (now TC Landscapes) started. “he qualities mum and the siblings treasured most in dad was his joviality and his kind-heartedness. Looking back, I can see that people everywhere responded to those same qualities,” she says. “Whenever I was out and about with dad, I was constantly amazed by how many people he knew, and vice versa. Even if he was in a rush, he’d always stop for a chat and look for ways to drop an encouraging word, or ofer a helping hand.” Adam, the middle child and current-day manager of TC Landscapes, totally agrees, as does big sister Lisa. “Dad was really well regarded in our community,” Adam says with love and pride. “He and mum both brought their unique qualities to the business and, along with loads of hard work, efectively created a family legacy which we’re all keen to see thrive.”
