OLD IRON, NEW SPARK Quambatook’s paddocks will come alive this Australia Day weekend as the Quambatook Heritage Working Machinery Association hosts its annual Harvest Working Days and Vintage Tractor Pull on 24–25 January. Enthusiasts will witness tractors, harvesters, and trucks from across the region brought back to life, including rare machines like a Massey Ferguson 31 and a homemade 1960 “Harry’s Horse” tractor. Collectors of all ages, from seasoned veterans to young enthusiasts, will demonstrate historic farming equipment, culminating in a Saturday tractor pull. STORY - PAGE 2
