Top show stars The regional final of the ten Central and South Gippsland show societies was held in Lang Lang last Sunday. Exhibitors qualifying at their local shows showcased their winning entries in the twelve designated classes. Judging took place on the day, the winning entries will now progress to the next level, representing Central and South Gippsland at the Melbourne Royal in September. At Melbourne they will compete with other show regions in Victoria. There were some stunning entries in the craftwork of crochet, cross stitch, embroidery, knitting, patchwork and sewing which made it quite difficult for the judges. The cooking included junior carrot and sultana muffins, junior boiled fruit cake along with senior carrot cake and senior rich fruit cake.
