The Rotary Club of Lilydale honoured two of their finest members earlier this month as they surprised them with the Paul Harris Fellow award. Awarded each year to high performing members of Rotary clubs, the Fellow is one of the highest recognitions in the service organisation as a way to say thank you. This year, two women were granted the award for their dedication to the improvement of the Lilydale Rotary and their long standing service to the community. To read more, turn to page 8

Voice vote plans Casey MP Aaron Violi and Labor Senator for Victoria Linda White have talked at length about their views of the upcoming referendum on The Voice to Parliament. Toeing party lines, national consultation and getting in touch with those doing the groundwork at a grassroots level were all factors in their voting choices; No for Mr Violi and Yes for Ms White. “The moment my concerns were crystal-
