During her seventy years as our nation’s monarch, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has been respected and adored for her unfailing duty, sincerity and optimism. In recognition of her selfless and inspirational service, hundreds of pupils from Star Academies have taken up the challenge of writing stories based on The Queen’s life – real or imagined – as she approaches her Platinum Jubilee. Star Jubilee Stories, which has been generously sponsored by EG Foundation, is an anthology of the entries that were judged to show the highest levels of flair and creativity. It includes the work of writers aged 7 to 16 from our schools across the country.
