Who We Are

STARability Foundation launched STARability Studio in 2019 to support its mission of shining light on ability as Collier County’s only privately funded nonprofit focused on enhancing the lives of individuals 14 and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities

Here, all abilities come together to create beautiful and professional gifts such as handpoured natural soy candles, beaded jewelry, illustrated cards and more Their products are sold in the Studio’s on-site boutique in the Naples Design District, online, to a growing number of retailers and community partners, and at numerous community events. Each vibrant item sparks joy as a meaningful gift, perfect souvenir or home accent

Who We Serve

Nearly 100 participants come to the STAR Studio for vocational training, internship experience, paid employment, and recreational art and photography classes.

With each artisan product, the STARs are expressing themselves creatively, learning a special craft, and developing valuable skills that translate to their time in the community, at home and in other workplaces

Your partnership will help us transform the lives of nearly 400 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by supporting diverse, critical programming, raising awareness and making strides toward a truly inclusive community.

Candles

Our signature hand-poured, natural soy candles are created from start to finish by our talented artisans. Whether it is helping devise the custom scent, centering the wick or perfectly placing a label, there is a place for all abilities to contribute. We carry many fragrances yearround and release specialty fragrances each season.

Consignment: Carry items and sell them on our behalf at our suggested retail price; pay STAR Studio on a monthly basis as items sell

Display: If your business is not a retail space or you are unable to sell our products, consider displaying a small selection of our products and a sign directing patrons to shop online, or even just our brochures
